Exket’s is great family fun. Here are some tips. First pay for your tractor ride online and save a buck per person. Second arrive early. They get busy quickly on the weekend. Third make a reservation at the restaurant. Fourth be aware that on weekends it is brunch menu till at least 11:00. If you sit down before noon but after 11:00 ask for the lunch menu. The kids loved picking apples and shopping at the store. We make sure to go at least once a year. It is fun for all. Note that it usually costs at least $200 to spend a day out there.

We drove over to Eckert's from St. Louis area, and I'm from Des Moines, on Oct. 21st. Perfect day all around. Sun out, and all the colors of the farm and decorations were festive and made for a happy day. Tractor pull ride out to the apple orchard with picking and tasting. Then, onto the pumpkin patch. Bought a sack of apples, bought some apple donuts - yum! My adult son and friends had a flight of ciders. They enjoyed tasting the varieties. Out to the petting zoo, then decided we all deserved a Saturday afternoon nap! Great Fall outing for any age group! Thanks Eckert's!

Eckert’s was amazing! So many pics you can take. I went online to purchase my tickets. It was $6 online and $7 at the farm. I picked 4 apples and it was $4 and some change. How? Idk why. It was too high. That’s the only downfall. I did get kettle popcorn. That was $10 a bag. It was delicious.

This place was amazing.. A nice drive in.. The prices for the bag of Apple wasn't that bad priced out. I did end up paying a lot for other in-store items and food, but overall, it was pretty good👍. Not that many places have fruit picking, and this place was lovely and not too crowded, which made it excellent to walk around and view the scenery. It is also a beautiful place for taking pictures

Always a fun place to go especially with little ones. They offer a variety of activities for everyone. The restaurant offers plenty of food and drink choices. Our table server, Jessica, did an excellent job taking care of our party of six.

Today we visited Eckert’s Pick Your Own spot. Amazing experience. We picked peaches, veggies like tomato, brinjal, zucchini, onions, beet roots, capsicum, corn etc. Corn was so sweet to eat. Then went to pick up some blackberries. There were lots of varieties of blackberries. Lastly went to pick up sunflowers. It was great great experience for us to see lots of sunflowers in one field. Also we saw so many varieties of apple trees while going through fields. We had a very tasty food inside the shop. Ice-cream, home made fresh donuts and custard were Yammy. Particularly I like their Peach flavoured ice cream. They also has lots of variety of fudge, cheese, breads, salsa, cookies… They sell fresh veggies and fresh fruits. Also they had lots of variety of plants. We spent whole day in the farm. Very very unique and beautiful place to visit again and again.

I visited for my first time on Friday and had so much fun! Starting off the day with warm cider donuts and hot apple cider was perfect! Then I hit the orchards and picked some beautiful apples and picked my own 20-pound Great Pumpkin for this year's Jack-o-lantern! This is an awesome place to go, no matter the season!

I have enjoyed every visit to Eckert's with my darling daughter. From relaxing drive to the on-site activities, the country store to the restaurant, the Eckert's family offers a memorable experience for all. I'm excited to check out the new cider shed and live music next!

This should be on your bucket list for your family. They have multiple crops and great food. A must see. They're also pet friendly.
