Today was my first visit. As one who loves fresh produce esp peaches, tomatoes and preserved items like grandma made. This was a fun place to shop and pick up a good lunch. The deli section has several tasty selections but the star of the show to me was the extensive offering of peaches. My one disappointment was I didn't have time to ride out to the fields and pick tomatoes. Next time!

Great family fun. Been taking my granddaughter here for 10 years. Sooo much variety at the country store you could easily spend an hour just looking and shopping for great foods, novelty items, plants, etc. The restaurant is always so enjoyable, great food and great service. The fried biscuits are to die for.The Easter extravaganza is a must for kids and adults.

Store is very clean and bright inside. Staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. The quality of food here is amazing. I love buying pies from the bakery. Lots of locally grown fruits and vegetables to choose from. A large selection of quality meats to choose from. I am never disappointed when visiting Eckert's store.

Love this place, it's perfect for a family day out! You could spend at least 4-5 hours here with all the things they have to do. We love going out into the fields and picking our own fruit which you can also eat to your hearts desire while out in the fields. The store has alot to offer as well and the cider is really delicious. We also indulge in the ice cream and play a couple rounds of bags everytime we go. I had drove past this place for years never realizing what I was missing out on. So if your out on the highway and you got the time swing in you won't regret it.

I was visiting Illinois for Thanksgiving with my in laws and they took us to Eckerts. This place was amazing with all the Christmas decor especially when you walk into the lobby of the place. It was decorated beautifully. We tried some of your apple cider and apple pie which both were delicious. I really enjoyed looking at everything and have some photos.

National pie day is today, January 23rd. We've came here every year for my birthday just for this deal. We didn't see the post on Facebook saying they were doing it Saturday and asked if they could honor it since today is pie day and my birthday and was told no. I'm so disappointed 😪

We came on a Monday around 10 am and it wasn’t busy at all. Tons of parking available around the store. We was hoping to go out in the field with the tractor, but wasn’t running today.

Fun place to shop. Bakery has a good selection of pies, cake, bread. Never had a bad item. Their tortilla chips are light and crisp. So good. Store is a little pricey but a good place to shop for something special now and then.

I love coming here but unfortunately the day we went both the restaurant and grocery store were closed, with no mention of it on the website. Bummed out because we drove 40mins away to come eat.

Great selection , good food , what ruins it for me is how unbelievably uninformed the staff around this place is , I called on 8-25 -2023 and ask if they had any crest haven peaches left for the season was told they had one full room of crest haven peaches left for purchase, I said that is crest heaven correct the women on the phone said yes .I drove 60 miles on 8-26-2023 arrived one hour after open and their where no crest haven peaches , when I ask how long they had been sold out I was told around a week .Last year when I visited this store one worker didn't even know what time they closed and when I went to the cider bar and ask if they had any none alcoholic peach cider was told yes and given a glass of alcoholic cider .The place is great , very clean and inviting but if you have any questions don't ask or you will be just as disappointed and frustrated as I have been my two visits two this place .

Very cute. Absolutely on the pricey side given the quality and freshness of most of the items. They had $0.25 apple cider tastings and $0.10 salt water taffy. The kids enjoyed walking around and we got to buy our first gooey butter cake!

Very nice wine selection, including their own fruit wines as well as some German wines. Very surprised to find a Clare Valley (Australian) Riesling there. (Riesling Freak 33)- if you love Riesling- try this one. Their cheese and produce selection is awesome. Baked items also very good! ( cider donuts and peach coffee cake).

This is an absolutely awesome place to visit! Not only is the pick your own a great and fun service, but the store is extremely well stocked with produce and lots of homemade bakery goods and a deli as well as all the normal grocery store items. Everything is really nice and clean and all the staff is extremely friendly!

What an amazing deal buy one get one flat of strawberries. I'm sorry, I don't think you can beat Eckerts strawberries, SO DELICIOUS!!!! Of course when I got there, I just HAD to check everything out. If you're looking for a gift for someone, great choices. If you're a licorice lover like I am, I highly recommend you purchase several kinds. Everyone there is so friendly too.

4 hours after opening for black raspberry picking they are already closed (for a while) because they are already picked out for the day. How is this possible? It’s the first day of the event??????? We drive 1 hour for this and all for nothing! It’s your business model that people come and pick their own fruit, so how can you be sold out the first day after just 4 hours????? 😡

It's a cool store with a lot of different local foods tons of candies, pies, fudge, meats and other various baked and deli items as well as awesome looking fruit and vegetables! They also have a restaurant and cider and donuts as well as custard. Outside they have various activities as well for both kids and adults.

I love coming to Eckert's to eat at the restaurant and to check out the store but this is the second time I've been horribly disappointed in their fresh produce. Last year it was a cantaloupe that rotted within a few days, this time it was the strawberries. I just bought a pound a week ago and ended up throwing them away because they shriveled up in the fridge. So no more fresh fruit from Eckert's. Too expensive as well.

I really enjoy going to the Eckert's country store year-round. The best part is the fruit. It's all the best tasting and fresh. I know I don't have to go through out to look for non-rotten fruit. Love the fact they after classes and even great wine choices. This also a great place to get meat from the deli area. They have freshly baked products as well. I really like the pies for the holidays. You get a big pie for a great price. They also have sugar free pies as well. They have a outdoor plants to pick from as well.

I do like the store it has a very nice feel to it and well stocked. They have cute items and pies are good! The cashier we got was very friendly and interactive with my kids. I took one star away because I bought the broccoli crunch salad and it had no taste to it, also I bought the fried cod and it was also bland and hard. :(

It's expensive they get you coming in and going out. The only u-pick we've been to that does that. We spent almost $80 for strawberries. The restaurant is ok. They actually use what they grow. Just be prepared to bring lots of money.
