The store is usually very clean and well stocked. I have only come across one rude employee and I havent seen her for a while so maybe she got fired. The aisles are always clear and I never have a problem finding what I need. As far as Dollar General's go, I would say this one is one of the better options in the area. I've been to a few others around and they are dirty and smelly and have employee's that are very rude and dont really care about you or your shopping experience. So maybe try this one out.

I have been shopping at the DG on Centreville Ave at least several times a week since 2018 when I moved to the neighborhood. If you shop at DG you know the challenges involved. Ever since Tammy came on as manager this store has improved! She gives absolutely incredible customer service and has ( unbelievably ) managed to make me look forward to my trips to DG. My 5 stars are for Tammy, because she certainly does make this store shine!

This store is the most dysfunctional, unorganized place I have ever been to. Shelves are ALWAYS empty and the aisles are ALWAYS filled with boxes and carts with merchandise on them. Looks as though the store is very understaffed. Also, the store plays music I'm sure they should not be playing. Music with cursing words in it, not the type of music young ears should be hearing. I would NOT recommend anyone to go to this store.

I had a issue with Dollar General a couple months ago. I received my monthly credit card statement and there was a $155 charge on it to DG. I knew it was an error so I called my credit card company and corporate DG they both said I would have to resolve it with the store where the purchase happened. The manager there " Tammy" was so helpful she worked until the issue was resolved and got my money refunded to me. She also went so far as to give me a gift card for my trouble. Just got off work and needed some thungs. Parking lot was pretty full. Tried going in and they locked the doors with people inside still. Lady shouted through the door that they were closed. I asked why. Never gave me an answer just walked away. This place has the most rudest and lazy employees. Plus half the time the shelves are empty and never have what I need.

Store has really gone down hill. Shelves are never stocked isles are crowded for weeks with unpacked and unshelved products. Store is consistently dirty, staff is rude, lazy, and never wear masks. One day I went in there and they had loud music playing and where arguing about who should go to the register while they where all in the small back office eating pizza at which point one employee finally came out with a slice dangling from there mouth and began to ring me up. The store is very miss managed.

On-shift Manager and most employees I have dealt with are rude. Most recently, I had a question about a coupon and they acted like I was bothering them. There are racks of items sitting out to be put away blocking products where it's difficult to reach. The store is conveniently located and not all employees are rude. I'll still be back, but It would be nice to fix the other problems.

I know... Five stars for a Dollar General? It not for the store itself, yet the people that work there. It is not too often that you find people who care about what they do and provide great customer service. They take time to know their more regular customers, and they are some of the fastest cashiers I have seen anywhere. I always go there first before Wal-Mart or Target. We can all take a lesson about having pride in all we do from the employees in this store. Keep up the excellent service.

This is a newly built dollar general located right off of a local major highway. It's easy to get off and on the hwy to shop this location. It is better organized than most of the stores I shop at. They also seem to have their shelves stocked well with the items I frequently purchase. Staff is friendly. Their prices cannot be beat by most stores. I am a frequent shopper at this location!

Customers choose whether or not to wear masks despite signage saying they are mandated, staff is non-confrontational, courteous and helpful. Shelves are stocked as could be expected during pandemic and staff are busy restocking.

This is the best DG around. Shelves are always stocked and usually the last one to have sale items still in stock. So happy they added this store to our little town..gives us more options for sure.

Worked here briefly. Had family situations happen and wanted to get my job back. Got told I was replaced but the place is still understaffed. Sounds like malicious managers. Until the original manager who hired me returns the place is ran by stupids.

Was disappointed... some gift sets were 70% off I picked up 3 of them and when u git to the and a few other ones but when they rang up they were full price and I was told that even though they was sitting in the same place as the other gift sets that were 70% off.. I went ahead and got them since I already had them at the register but it was a disappointment. and the register lady was kind of rude to my boyfriend that was with me but you'll have that but shouldn't be in the customer service was in a very happy trip

This is the best dollar general in my neighborhood! Fresh clean and new! The employees are always helpful and sweet! Not once have I been here and thought I had a terrible experience!

Wish I could give 0 stars. With this pandemic forcing walmart and target to close early Dollar General is my only option on work nights. Went to the 1207 Centreville Ave, in belleville and they decided to lock the doors at 9 even though they close at 10. Thanks to that I had to go across town to the dollar general on 4 wade street. I hope the employee working at the Centreville location gets fired for their sheer laziness, i get you don't want to work, no one does, but now myself and many others have to go out of our way to get food for our family. there were about 5 cars that pulled up after me who also had to take their business elsewhere. WILL BE FOLLOWING UP WITH CORPORATE

Customer service and cleanliness of store have declined drastically in last couple of months. Went last night and there was a sign on the door stating hours 8am to 9pm and door locked. This store is open until 10pm.

Otis speaker Bluetooth speaker from them and did not work they were quick to replace it without any argument. I considered this quality and will come back and do service with them again

The only issue that day was a long line in the check out. One cashier and there was 10 people waiting in line. Another cashier did come to help but only after he had taken half the people waiting.

Bought anti-freeze/coalant price on sign said $0.80 difference than what was charged when back few hours later after noticing mistake and would not reimburse the difference.
