I have been going there for 18 months and love ALL of the staff. My pet is always welcomed. He always responds with a tail waggle and a jump on his groomer. They groom right away and he is ready in a hour. Love the results

Our baby Dylan was petrified of getting his nails trimmed. We rescued him and apparently whoever had him hurt him and he did not like his feet touched. He went crazy. The ladies here gave him treats and love and eventually he let them trim his nails, no problem. I am so grateful to them. Thank you so much. I know he'll be happy to go back!

I've searched for a long time for a good groomer and finally found a great one. The whole staff has been wonderful. They treat my dogs as if they are their own. Shop is adorable and clean. Staff is so friendly and attentive. Very happy with the whole experience.

Very friendly staff and a wonderful little dog! The prices are a little higher than buying online but hey, they are local and nice people! The store is always clean and well lit. They have many varieties of quality food, treats, and gear fit your furry friends.

Been taking my dog there for 10 years and using a vacation day for his appt. and asking to give him a flea bath since he had some itching and I flea bathed him 3 times to keep them at bay they said oh if he has fleas we can't take him. He wasn't covered in fleas he had some on his rump. They were over booked I think and did a flea bath one earlier time. He sleeps with me and I was not getting attacked in the night. But they refused because they were over booked and only one groomer. Lost a vacation day and took my elderly dog home and shaved him myself. Yes some fleas on hind parts but nothing insane. They weren't every where and no major flea dung. Gave him a flea bath and he's fine and happy and no infestation. Aren't flea baths part of a grooming service. Apparently no longer. Lost my business for good after 10 years. Will never return and they screw up their scheduling. Showed up an earlier time and they had a wrong day in their calendar compared to the card date they gave me. Again had to use a vacation day for that appointment. They use to be great but have gone downhill the past couple of years. Different groomer each time and short staffed. Never going back.

I visited them close to 5pm on a Friday. I was looking for human grade food for my girl Maci. She's in her last few weeks or months, not sure which, but she was not having a good day, and I was visibly upset.I assume it was the owner who told me the differences between the different types they had. It's all over my budget to feed her on a regular basis, but I buy it when I can. She gave me one free as I was buying one. They were all very sympathetic to my and Maci's situation. Maci loved the food.I will definitely return and probably have her groomed there as well as their grooming station appeared to be all in the open, which is reassuring.I just want what's best for her as she's been with me 11yrs and 24/7/365 since covid. I plan on pampering her all I can until that dreaded day, and I am certain that Dog Day Afternoon is a perfect place to do do just that.

This place is a real gem. I went in the other day to buy a specific dog food to use as a treat, but it was out of stock. When I asked if they had anything similar, I was told no. BUT she showed me a different food that works well as a high value treat. She even found me a sample to try out with my dog. Both workers were friendly, and polite, and the woman I spoke with was very knowledgeable. My dog enjoyed the store, too.Last time I went into a non-chain pet store, none of the items had a price tag, which was incredibly frustrating. This store had price stickers on the large items and cutely labeled bins for small individual items like rawhides, etc. No confusion, no asking about every product. From what I looked at, prices are comparable with Chewy, but don't require the 2-day wait on shipping. I will DEFINITELY be coming back here.

This place rocks! The staff always has their dogs in and its nice to see the friendly furry faces. The groomers they have are incredible, I was seriously impressed with their professionalism and when I came back to get my big ol pup he looked wonderful. I'll never take my dog to another groomer. I know some people have complained about the wait getting an appointment the same day they call, but I have never had an issue. They are booked a little ways out, but im glad to see such a great small business thrive.

Dog Day Afternoon is such a great place! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I have been here numerous times to spoil my dog and I get her food here now (which they signed me up for a rewards program, which is awesome). They have an amazing selection of treats and toys. I try to feed my dog more natural treats, and they have a huge selection. They have decorated cookies that are wonderful and my dog goes nuts for. She has also been groomed here (she’s a lab mix, so just bath, ears, and nail trim) and every time she came home smelling wonderful and with a cute bandana. I love to support this local business over the larger chain stores. Overall, I can not recommend Dog Day enough! They will help you with everything you and your pup could ever need!!!

I absolutely love dog day afternoon! I had taken my dog to other grooming places before, and received very poor quality plus, my dog hated going so much I would have to find someone to carry him in due to his refusal. :) I found dog day, and my dog willingly walks in without disdain. This is from the trust he has built from their groomers. I know why because I see the groomers care about the dogs. When I’m shopping I hear them talking to the dogs sweetly unlike other places where they treat them like another number. Over the years, I have found that this place offers so much more than grooming. They have helped me figure out the right foods and supplements to help my dogs with their itchy skin, and ear problems. They have educated me so much in overall dog and cat care, and I am a better pet parent because of it. If I’ve ever had a question, they are more than helpful.
