Scheduled first appointment for today 9am. However, No one was at the business. I kept calling and it kept going to voicemail. Brought my kitty back home and am very unsatisfied and disappointed. I was really looking forward to this experience for my kitty.I know things can happen… so I hope they are ok… but reading some other reviews…. Makes me a bit frustrated here.

We’ve been using Cats Only since we moved here in 2016! Love that Dana and her assistant specialize in only kitties. Our cat has so much fur to handle that we use their services to clean and maintain. Always does great work and can get us in right away!

Unfortunately, I cannot speak to the quality of their grooming and boarding services. About 2 weeks ago, we made an appointment for the following Monday (after calling a handful of times to try and get ahold of someone). They texted us within an hour of the appointment that the groomer had been bit and would be going home for the day and they would be giving us a call later to reschedule (totally understand that -- a call would have been nice, but I understand that things happen and get busy). No call for rescheduling within the next 24 hours, so we followed up to reschedule, no answer. Our long haired cat really needed grooming, so we called a handful of other times (among other places) to get him rescheduled, left messages, no return calls. It's unfortunate because there are so few places that groom cats in the area -- I would not trust this company with my cats. They are not good with communication at all.

They only received a 1 star because there was no option for a zero. After several calls and messages, I finally was able to make an appointment t bring my long haired cat in for a grooming. Two weeks later (soonest I could get in), I showed up for the appointment and NOBODY WAS THERE! I drove 40 minutes to get there because I thought it was going to be a better environment for my nervous cat. She doesn't travel well and yowled the whole drive. It was also 97 degrees and even with the air on, she was panting by the time we arrived. I peeked in the windows and the place looked abandoned. I could see several open doors to empty rooms with buckets and what looked like trash bags sitting around. If there were animals in the building, I hope they were in a better part because what I could see looked like it hadn't had a human in it for a while. I called the number on the door and of course got their voicemail. I left a message to tell them I was there for my appointment then took my cat back to the car to wait in the air conditioned car. After ten minutes (15 after my appointment time) I left. The neighborhood was sketchy and I didn't feel safe sitting there any longer. I called and left another message telling them not to call me back as I would NOT be returning. If you care for your pets, I do not recommend this place for anything. If they treat their human clientele like this, I wouldn't trust them with my animals.

Dana is a true cat lover! She kept both of my cats for over a week, and she took excellent care of them. Both are on medication, but she can give any type of meds. She also does grooming! Her place is nice and clean and smells good! All the cats are very happy there.

Just got my babes groomed here. He looks really good fluffy and clean. A little disappointed because I wanted him shaved but they said he got agressive trying to shave him which isn't their fault. Even with him being difficult they did everything else and most importantly got the matting on his butt for hygiene and back where he had matting so I'm very pleased. He's a long haired big older fat boy so it's hard for him to clean his back and behind properly. I guess he didn't even need to be fully shaved as I thought so that's really good. Going to be bringing him in every 2ish months for maintenance grooming and bath. Also their boarding rooms def seemed nice too so overall I'm happy I found this place.

Dana has been seeing my oldest cat baby for two years and it was my baby cat's first time. You'll be greeted by the house cat which is a sweetheart, and Dana who is very experienced and thorough with her work. They have individual cat kennels and plenty of space for each one if you need to travel, and grooming there my cat's are comfortable and not scared at all.

First visit to Cats Only! Facility was clean and staff was very welcoming!! My cat came back smelling so clean and her fur looked so pretty. She also didn't seem stressed out when we got her home. We definitely will be back when she's ready to be groomed again! Thank you so much Cats Only!!

Very nervous to leave my cat as we have had bad boarding experiences in the past, but the facility is super nice! Each cat suite is cute and comfortable and has its own cat tree and window. My cat climbed up and was looking around when I left him which made me feel much better! Dana is also super helpful and accommodating.

My cat, Cesar, was completely at ease. His hair cut looked great! Due to COVID, his long fur had become mated...she was WONDERFUL!! He also smelled GREAT! I enjoyed being asked if I wanted to put my baby on a grooming schedule. I immediately said yes; knowing I would be more disciplined in maintaining my boys silky coat. Cesar and I had a great experience!!

She couldn’t be more unprofessional. I had taken my cat there a couple times. Then she cancelled her appointment on me 3 times. The last one she didn’t even tell me and I drove to sit at the place for an hour and she didn’t answer her phone.She never apologized and texted me she’d call to reschedule. She never called. I called MULTIPLE times and she just never answers her phone. The one time she did she basically just yelled “we’re closed call back tomorrow”. Good luck trying to get ahold of her. You’re better off taking your cat somewhere else.

I've taken my furbaby Coco there 3 times now. The first time she was a mess when another groomer had her a matted mess and Dana was able to get her back in shape without shaving all of her hair, which I am thankful for. The next two times were just as good. Dana is very good with her and does a great job on her long coat. Coco never seems stressed out when I pick her up and always looks amazing! I highly recommend Cat's Only for your grooming needs. I've never had to board her, but the facilities are immaculate and would not hesitate, especially with the private rooms and a cagefree environment. Thank you Dana for your awesome business!

Took my cat here to get groomed. They forgot they scheduled me and double booked my time slot. They obviously rushed the hair cut and it's uneven, and he clearly has patches where he was nicked by the razor. But ultimately I'm most upset because they shaved off one side of his whiskers almost entirely. Horrible experience and I won't be returning

DO NOT BRING YOUR CATS HERE. I made an appointment over a week ago because I am going on vacation. When I arrived at my scheduled time at 9:00 A.M. Thursday March 24th there was NOBODY there and NO ANSWER from the phone. Luckily Spencer Kennel in O'Fallon know how to operate a business so my cat has somewhere to stay. AVOID THIS PLACE

I adopted a stray long haired cat and was worried about finding a groomer who would be capable of tackling the moderate-severe matting she had on her chest, legs, and under her arms. I was convinced we would need to have her shaved. She was so uncomfortable. I called Cats Only and they got me in literally within DAYS. When I got there, I asked about the shave but the groomer was actually able to COMB OUT THE MATTING! I couldn’t believe it. I’m convinced our groomer performs miracles. Kitty feels so much better now and I am thrilled she gets to keep her pretty coat. I will be going back.

One star is one to many...when considering a place to board our cat that requires daily medication we asked the owner if she capable of giving meds orally to her, she assured us she was proficient in administrating medication. Three days into our five day vacation we called to check on our kitten only to find out that she had not been given any medication since her arrival because the owner of the "resort" refused to give her medication because our kitten hissed at her when she initially attempted to give her the medication. Her failure to give the medication is nothing short of gross negligence; needless to say we will never be taking our cats to this "resort" again. Terrible experience.

I have boarded my two cats here several times. It is small clean and friendly - and no barking dogs!! Dana obviously loves the cats and takes very good care of them when we travel. I love the no cage approach and the personal attention.

We brought in 3 cats to be bathed and 1 to be shaved. The owner wasn't able to do anything to our cats. She obviously didn't try very hard because I have bathed one of my cats before, and if I can do it someone who made this their profession should definitely be able to do it. She also was supposed to cut one of our cats hair. She shaved two patches off and couldn’t do the rest. We shaved him at home with no issue. Super disappointed seemed like she didn't even care to really try. Would never recommend this place.

The owner of Cats Only is super efficient and very patient with the cats. She worked diligently to make sure our cats were properly cared for. We ended up getting one cat a grooming package and all of them got front nail caps! Very clean and professional.

Our cat needed a drastic hair adjustment. He had some mats we couldn't remove. This place did the job. It was fine if a little pricey. Hopefully we won't have to do it again. I don't know about the boarding side of things.

Just went to Cats Only spa and resort this past Saturday and I have to say it was an amazing experience! Dana, the master feline groomer did such an amazing job on my cat Haylo. Haylo had lots of matts and poopy butt from having such thick and long hair and I had tried to groom her myself and I've never even came close to giving haylo the proper clean and groom that Dana did. Haylo got her nails trimmed, matts brushed out, bathed, and shaved and looking beautiful. She has been in such a great mood ever since! Cats Only is where I will be taking haylo to get groomed from now on. I'm so happy to have found this place! I have to mention that I really appreciate the time they took on her. ❤

Our Lizzie had terrible mats in her fur that were causing her pain! Dana was able to get rid of every mat and give Liz a bath! Liz feels like a Queen again!

We took our first vacation since we owned our three cats Cats Only was just what I was looking for I would of never left my cats in a cage and enjoyed my vacation. I was given updates and pictures and felt the time they were there was just like at home. I would recommend and use there services again.

We showed up twice for appointments. The door was locked and no one was here. We called the owner the first time and she rescheduled, the second time we showed up the same thing happened. Very unprofessional way to conduct business especially one taking care of our pet family members.

I dropped of my very shy 3 yr old girl for a bath and grooming session. The groomer is very gentle and professional. My baby girls coat looked and smelled amazing!!
