We stayed here overnight in our RV via Harvest Hosts. We had an absolutely incredible time!! Gus (owner) is a wonderful, super friendly guy and is awesome with kids. He gave us a tour of the entire farm and my daughters (3 and 6) got to see and touch piglets, chickens, goats, sheep, an alpaca... They were THRILLED! We also met Toby the friendly sheep - he joined us for the rest of the tour, trotting along like a dog and our girls snuggled him and fed him. Very cool. We learned SO much about farms. This morning we woke with the rooster's call and ate the freshest eggs I've ever tasted. Then we collected eggs from the henhouses and my girls begged to stay another day. 😂All of the animals here are truly happy and we can't wait to enjoy the free-range meat and 4 dozen eggs we purchased here. They make/ grow absolutely everything from the plants the animals eat to the spices used in the chicken patties and sausages. (Side note, the animals you meet at the ranch yield eggs, wool, etc. They're not for eating - those animals are at a different location up the road.) HIGHLY recommend a stop at Happy Life Ranch!!BTW you can come pick up eggs any time. The store is behind the house and there's a place to leave money. $4/ dozen or $10 for 3 dozen. Fresh eggs don't require refrigeration so stock up!!! Thank you so much Gus for your awesome hospitality!!! We'll definitely be back!

We have been getting our meet from Happy Life ranch for about 2 years now. Not only do they have the best quality meat but they also open their doors and welcomed us in like we have been friends for a lifetime. They also welcome us to bring our 3 kids to their farm to teach them where our food comes from and how to have fun on the farm. It’s beautiful to be around good REAL people who value life, family, and healthy food/delicious like we do.

This place is awesome! The haunted trail is so cool and all of the staff is friendly and funny! Our kiddos love all the animals too!! Such a good time!! Definitely recommend stopping by!!

Im a chicagoan and I was visiting my great nan out in Beecher, and I’d happen to come across a local farm joint. I bought 3 dozen eggs and when I arrived home I was stunned to find chicken feces all over my eggs. Just thought I would write this message to let the people know to check that there is nothing on the eggs if they do decide to buy from this place. Besides that the big guy Gus was hitting on my mother and such.

This is the second year that Gus and Happy Life have hosted a training event for the organization I'm a part of, and let me say that I make the drive from Tennessee to Illinois just as much for the food as I do the training and companionship.Y'all, I'm from a "Farm to Table" town. You can't throw a rock in the Middle Tennessee area without hitting a restaurant that does Farm to Table, and Happy Life has some of the best food I have ever eaten. And it is 100% Farm to Table. No steroids or hormones, no bleach baths, none of that.I promise you, if you have never had food outside of a supermarket, do yourself a favor and get some from Happy Life.

Happy Life Ranch is an amazing place and the owners are such kind and caring people. We have gotten our Thanksgiving turkey from them and have had the privilege of them cooking food for us and the food is delicious. Definitely not what you'd get a the local grocery store.

Gus and Melissa take care of the members of their CSA like they’re family. Our little man loves visiting the farm to pick up eggs and say hi to the chickens and we are always welcomed warmly. Sourcing our meat locally and knowing where it comes from and how it’s cared for is such an important thing and I love that we get to teach our littles that with a family as genuine as Gus and Melissa’s.

We absolutely love the meat and eggs from Happy Life Ranch! I was so pleased to find a local family farm that does things holistically, ethically, organically, and offers non-GMO products. And you cannot beat the prices either! When you visit the ranch the animals actually do have a happy life so it really is the perfect name. Gus and Mellissa are the nicest people they have been so accommodating and willing to customize and work with us if we require any changes to our monthly CSA delivery. Best meat around! My dogs stole a 3/4 of a whole cooked chicken off the table that was cooling! They never did that with a grocery store chicken. My husband told me he does not want go back to grocery store meat. The owners are super nice!

Outside of it being a super HOT day when we were there. They were having an open house that day and they had their swimming pool open so folks could cool off. But the Food!!! Mmmm the FOOD!!! SO VERY DELICIOUS 😋!!!
