Buddy’s was my 89 year old mom’s favorite place for a delicious burger and strawberry sundae. We would order dinner via drive through, eat in the car and drive through again for ice cream. My favorite ice cream was the turtle sundae! Last winter we’d make it a point to get there to support them when they’d be open for a few days. It was amazing how many people came out to support them. Everyone is always friendly, efficient and the food consistently good! The grounds are well kept and enjoyed by so many. The car shows, the movie nights - fun family get togethers.My mom passed in June but I continue to stop by for a great meal! Keep up the good work!We appreciate you!

Great food and ice cream at a fair price. Portions are big. Playground is always a hit in the summer. The cheese stick bbq burger was a fun surprise.

This place is perfect for food and ice cream. Very nice atmosphere has a lot of outdoor seating and a small playground for the little ones. So many food items to choose from as well as ice cream. The prices were very reasonable we had a strawberry sundae and we had a root beer the root beer was delicious.

Nice cozy little spot, plenty of seating, Staff was very friendly courteous and helping. Seemed pet friendly as there was a horse there and a family had their dog. Didn't bother us at all, I thought it was great to see. Had a play area for the little ones.I had a medium cup of espresso ice cream with nuts, cost me about five bucks. I personally thought the espresso ice cream could have had a little bit more espresso in it but that's just me, I am a coffee lover. I don't necessarily think I would go out of my way to go there but if you're down there it's a nice place to stop. I'd recommend it.

The new owners have really improved this once dwindling business. They keep the menu fresh and always adding fun options.We love that they stay open year around now! Gave 4 stars for service because they have messed up my order here and there by forgetting to put fries in the bag or not giving sauce for chicken fingers. The teenagers working there are not the friendliest at times.

I love Buddy's ice cream, but they really need to offer some basic vegetarian options for meals. It would be nice to be able to order a veggie burger or a grilled cheese. Buddy's idea of grilled cheese is cheese melted on a hamburger bun. A classic grilled cheese would be nice. As much as I enjoy buddy's ice cream, it's a bummer that I don't get to enjoy their meals as much as my family and friends do.

My husband ordered 2 HAMBURGERS one with no lettuce or pickles and one with no lettuce and no pickles and no mustard, a regular fry and an order of onion rings. The total ticket was over 40.00. what he got was 1 double cheeseburger with everything and one double cheeseburger no lettuce and no pickles. To top it off there was no one else in the car line or the walk-up window. I could understand if they were busy, but they weren't and the same thing happened last week. This was not a difficult order. Also why do you guys ask if we want cheese when someone clearly says hamburgers. The food and ice cream are very good but lack of attention or whatever the problem is for getting a correct order is a problem.

This place has been around for a very long time and every chance We get We stop in for a treat of some sort. I have never been disappointed with anything I have bought here and would recommend Buddy's to all Who want to experience an old fashioned Ice Cream Drive in. Give this place a try if You are ever going down Route 1 in Beecher Illinois, You won't be disappointed either 😉

We love going to Buddy’s, we always have a great time whether sitting out by the park, date night after the sun goes down, and even the drive through. Such a staple in our sweet small town.Dietary restrictions: They offer options for low fat yogurt/fruit, and chicken wraps etc.

The hamburger, italian beef and fries were very good! What a neat place. The soft serve ice cream was also yummy. Loved that there was an outside sink available to wash you hands. Great place to bring kids.
