DO NOT GO HERE!!! I went here to get training for my 4 month old puppy. The trainer I was working with was named Nick. I came in for my consultation and Nick informed me all I needed was to sign the contract and place the deposit to hold her spot as she was too young to start training. He said the deposit is refundable if anything happens between contract signing and start date. Nick stated that once I pay in full then it would not be refunded whether I take the class or not. Nick stated email was best way to contact him and he would be with me in the meantime to help assist in training until her start date.This was not true. I emailed him and he never responded except when speaking about money. I figured ok maybe he wants the deposit before giving advice. Seems fair right? So I went in and paid the $600 deposit he again told me the deposit was refundable until I pay in full at her start date. In the process of all of this I witnessed the manager behind him Cameron. He was holding a dog training it when a little 3-5 pound dog got off its bed and walked by him.He grabbed the leash and dragged the dog with the spiked collar on as it cried out in pain fighting back all the way to the cot. Then I saw him with the bigger dog he was training lightly kicking the dog's back legs to get him to sit. I was starring at him with a look on my face and he stopped kicking the dog's legs.I reached out to Nick in email and in person looking for help on what he would call "puppy biting." I got zero response back. When I spoke to him in person he said oh she's too young to learn anything and puppy biting is normal. I said yes it is, but she isn't puppy biting she is attacking and ripping clothes. He completely ignored me and my questions and said we will fix it in training.I continued research at this point googling reviews, speaking to numerous people. After many discussions and research I came across one last review from an ex employee who stated the daycare employees are sent over to assist when needed and that they are told to shock the dog until they listen. States seeing cruel punishment. I then looked up Nick to see if I could find any credentials on him. They state he is a canine behavioral instructor. Nick stated he worked at a daycare prior to this.I found his Facebook which stated from him that this was the first full time job he has ever had and was an Apprentice. This was in 2021. I then called woofbeach to speak to him and the daycare employee picked up and said she had no idea about any training dates drop off times or really anything she's just answering the phone while they need help.Going back to my read reviews everything seemed to be in check with cruel punishment and a trainer that is in need of more training. This is not what I agreed to when signing my contract and my deposit I made. Woofbeach broke this contract by providing cruel punishment.At this point I had enough red flags to tell me I needed to not take my dog here and reach out to someone higher. I found the district managers email his name is Austin. I wrote an email to him explaining everything that has happened and how uncomfortable I was and I didn't want to make any waves I just wanted my refund for my deposit back.Austin refused to give me my deposit back stating the contract says he doesn't have to essentially. I explained to him his trainer insured me the deposit is refundable and even lied to Austin about some emails saying he didn't get until I had to forward them to Austin to prove they went through and were received. I told him I was uncomfortable seeing the punishment they gave with the prong collar. He still refused.He offered to go to another location however, I've seen how they train.How can I be comfortable going to another place after what I saw. I just wanted my refund and wanted to quietly move on with my life. But here we are. I'm still going to consult with legal to see about getting my deposit back seeing as how I didn't agree to that punishment in that contract.

The self serve dog wash station is amazing!!! You get 10 min and it sprays the soap, flee & tick wash, deep conditioner and then rinse. My dog has never been cleaner. The blow dryer was amazing as well he was 90% dry before getting in the car. I would highly recommended this place to everyone. Will be coming back!!

My little baby came home looking excellent! He also stuck around for Day care after his grooming and had an excellent time! They pay close attention to detail and have the ultimate care for the comfort of the dogs in this facility!

Never again will we use or recommend Wood Beach. We had a very traumatic and hurtful experience with our European Doberman! They are not well capacitated or trained to handle large breed dogs! Our dog escaped the Batavia facility! The way things were handled starting from the manager and other employees made it worse. Very poor customer service towards us. We paid thousands of dollars for our dog to be trained to have this happen. There needs to be more safety measures and protocols for the safety of the pets and customers. I will not go into details because of the severity of the situation!

Training experience was 100% positive. Straight to the point not trying to sell you a fluff of training corses, ask them for what you want your dog to do or how you want them to behave and it happens. A person below noted a plastic spike collar used to train dogs, all dog trainers I spoke to prior to finding woofbeach in area use a metal prong collar for training most of the time. Bottom line great people and easy to work with. 11 month golden doodle trained perfectly to behave in any setting. Thanks Woofbeach

We were so happy with the results from the first dog we sent to Woofbeach, that when we got another one, there was no doubt that he would go too. This time we are going to the new Aurora location, which looks like it's going to be amazing. I have had the most dealing with the trainer, Kate. Our family calls her "Kate the Great". She has not only been an incredible trainer (who our dog LOVES) but has also made us feel like family. I cannot recommend Woofbeach enough and I promise you will be happy with the results.

I am so pleased I brought my four month old male golden retriever here! He’s 14 months now and I have since referred two additional families here whom are just as happy as I am. The amount of compliments I get on my dog are truly remarkable. Alek, Taylor and the whole grooming squad are worth every penny invested. I can’t thank them enough or spread the word enough. Stop looking elsewhere and bring your pup here now.

Woofbeach is the best! I followed Ryan over from a previous place and wouldn't want anyone else grooming my baby. I have a very sensitive and scared Bichon who doesn't like to be groomed. As soon as she sees Ryan, she's fine. He is so gentle and kind with her. Everyone I've encountered at Woofbeach has been nice and helpful. It's amazing to walk in and see over 30 dogs sitting on cots, and following the training that they were given for the day. Great place! I highly recommend them.

I took my puppy into Woofbeach for basic obedience training and some other issues.I am very pleased with the results, as Ryan and Sarah were so helpful and patient and went above and beyond. They worked so well with training my dog and helping me train him.I highly recommend Woofbeach for your dog.

Woofbeach Rocks!! Our year and half old Viszla Charlie just went through 4 weeks of training. He went from crazy man to very well mannered!! He now listens the first time. He is so well behaved now that when I took him to the vet, they said" He is such a different dog". I put him on the scale as his "place" dropped the lease and he stayed there while I checked out even when there were other dogs. This would have never happened before the training. It was amazing! He stopped pulling on his lease and stopped barking up a storm in the Vet's lobby. The trainers at Woodbeach are awesome and truly care about Charlie. The customer service is outstanding!! My husband and I would HIGHLY recommend this place to all dog owners!!! It is worth every $!!.

If you are looking to make an informed decision on where to get your dog trained, do not listen to the employees at Woof Beach. DON'T TRUST WOOFBEACH!We took our dog for training and asked several times what their training techniques were like. They avoided giving details about their training to the point of deception. We trusted Woofbeach, but after 5 weeks of training we went for our private consultation, we finally learned that they were using a spiked choke collar on our dog which we had no idea was being used. I think they care more about selling the training than they do about letting customers make an informed decision. My wife and I feel that Woofbeach deceived us and took our money. I will never trust them and will never take our dog there for any reason.Added photos so anyone reading this review can make an INFORMED decision about their dog's training

I have had a wonderful experience here. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I have to admit there was sticker shock at first with the price but it was worth EVERY dollar. The people are very nice but I don’t like the grooming itself. I took my dog here for the first time today and I am not gonna lie he isn’t the easiest to handle but the whole set up is kind of off. The place that they keep the dogs is very small and one of the dogs had a vacuum in front of it making it seem like they really didn’t care about the dog. My dog was so scared when I picked him up. The sales man that my husband and I spoke to when we came here was super nice. The people are pretty nice as well. However, the hours of the business are horrible. They are only open during work hours which I think is very silly. Most people can’t take time off just to get their dog groomed. I gave it 2 stars because most of the people are very nice. But I had to take away 3 stars for the hours that they are open, the fact that my dog was terrified, the fact that my dog smelled like wet dog when I picked him up, and that it is very expensive.UPDATEI just received a call from Ryan to explain a lot of the things that I had noted. I truly understand that everyone does work hard and is passionate about what they do. Just him calling makes me feel like he cares. Although, there are a few things that still that I feel like need work, like the hours. Even though the set up was explained, it still was a little odd to me. I will be adding 1 more star to the review for the phone call.

I used Woofbeach this past and just fell in love with the experience and the staff. They do an amazing job with the dogs and felt confident in the help that they could provide. My dog really enjoyed being there as well, which helps. The location I used, which I'm sure all of them are amazing, was Geneva. Everyone there couldn't have be more helpful and caring. Highly recommend !!!!!!

Robin was amazing!!! My 2 1/2 year old Australian Shepherd had never been groomed because I was afraid they would shave him. Robin assured me multiple times (which my anxiety needed) that was not going to happen. She handled my nervous pup so we'll and he looked so handsome!

Bring all 3 of my dogs to woofbeach and would never take them elsewhere. They are so gentle, considerate and truly care about my pups! My senior dog was absolutely terrified to go anywhere else in the past. After building a wonderful relationship with the groomers here, she runs in with her tail wagging. I highly recommend Woofbeach. I cannot say enough wonderful things about each and every member of their staff at Geneva and Batavia locations!

Fantastic trainers! We brought our 4 month old German Shepherd to Woof Beach for training and couldn't be happier! We went through on-leash training first with Zach and we couldn't believe how well behaved our puppy was. We decided to continue Bailey's training with the off-leash course with Melissa and now we have a very happy 1 year old German Shepherd. I love the fact that the trainers are available in case we have any additional questions or problems that need attention in the future! I recommend Woof Beach to all my dog-owner friends! They have bigger priorities than a dog “chewing” on a leash they said, witch resulted in a very unfortunate situation witch they claim is unpredictable . Really just a sad situation. Very disappointed with how we were treated after, very poor customer service by all employees especially the DM.

Amber recently groomed my two dogs, one our COVID foster failure who can be skittish with new people, and one our giant Bernese Mountain Dog who was so desparate to be groomed he had moved into full on "Muppet" mode. She did such a fantastic job with both. Both dogs were beautifully groomed and lovingly cared for. I couldn't be happier and the dogs will be back for more!

This training was one of the worst decisions we've made for our dog. It was not tailored to his temperament or needs. It actually hurt the trust and bond between us and our dog. We went elsewhere to add on to the training and had to start from square one because his foundational skills were so flawed. Due to this lack of a foundation, he has a lot of behavioral issues that just continue to get worse over time. I would recommend choosing a different trainer, especially for a rescue.

I would definitely recommend this place for ANY dog owner. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the results of our dogs 8 week off leash course. The staff was so friendly, especially Austin who was super knowledgeable and walked us through every detail of the training. Love this place!

We brought our cockapoo, Bella, to Woof Beach in Batavia for some manners & good basic commands. We are awed by the fabulous training & care she received. The wonderful staff, whenever we came in, knew Bella was ours & she was ready for us. Following her training sessions, it was time for us to learn the commands. Working with Zach, we were constantly amazed with Bella's ability to follow direction. Zach has the patience of a saint in working with us to make sure WE get it right! Truly was a wise choice to choose Woof Beach!

Very disappointed. My family has been taking our dogs to woofbeach for years and spent thousands of dollars with this company. This week when we took one of our dogs, a small Yorkie mix for groom and he was brutally attacked in the neck by a pitbull who was being trained on a cot. BEWARE I have recommend Woofbeach to many friends and will never do so again. Still unsure of how our dog will recover.
