Indoor employee was great, however the old man at the gate for order pickup needs to check his attitude. Apparently having him get up and help someone who's picking up for the first time was too much damn effort.

This Menards is going downhill! There's people working who are rude to customers, are lazy( hiding playing on their phones) and unknowlegeable re where to find items in the store! It's a shame....I called Building Materials to ask a quick question. A woman answered, was rude and said she had other customers and hung up. Why couldn't she just transfer the call to someone who knew what she didnt!!? Poor quality employees...hello Home Depot!

First of all if I could give the Menards in Batavia zero stars I would not to get in a lot of detail their customer service is horrible bought a large item got it home to see it was wrong now I have to rent their truck to make it right and later find out one of the parts is missing they said they had one went to go get it and guess what they didn’t have it when I got there had to go to another store to get it all they did was waist my time it was their fault and they wouldn’t do anything thing to correct it had to pay $48 for truck rental to fix their mistake not that I can’t afford $48 it’s the principle and my time so from now on I will buy as little as I have to from Menards and it won’t be that store

After having good dealing with people in lighting and gardening I had to go to lumber. Found most of what I needed by myself but I needed assistance and information. I saw several people doing absolutely nothing in the contractor area. One, who was on the phone actually walked away from me before hanging up so he wouldnt have to work. I am sick and tired of the poor customer service at this store in this area. The one person who would speak to me told me "they" could do what I needed, but there was no "they" willing to do so. To top it off, the one item I could just buy without assistance, they no longer carry.

I would just like to say that every time I go in there I do have a very good experience. And I would like to give a shout out to one of your Cashiers her name is Stephanie. She is very friendly and very helpful. Her attitude is awesome. And she appears to be a hard worker and have a very good work ethic. Thank you very much

Katlin deserves to be a store manager due to how amazing she was yesterday! My husband and I were buying a gun safe, ready to spend alot of money for it.We initially were at the menards in carpentersville where we were horribly treated by the manager and resorted to taking our business elsewhere. Katlin initially was in the tile area helping a couple , after she finished with them, she immediately apologized for the time we waited and immediately assisted us in picking out the right safe for us, she.checked the safe herself and walked us through the resetting of it and how to use it. She went above and beyond. I absolutely loved her! Great team and great experience

Very disappointed by the policy not to allow pets. My dog is working towards his canine good citizenship and I am able to take him to every local hardware store except this one. There's even a big sign on the door.

Just bought paint and tools for a stair project and was not quite sure about what I needed. Al in the paint department helped me and was so knowledgeable about his department. He weighed pros and cons of multiple techniques and discussed the process with me with great example. I will absolutely return to Batavia Menards just for that level of quality care!

Looking for drywall, they point me at opposite ends of the store only to find out that it's in a warehouse outside in the dark. I'm only looking for half sheet. I didn't find it in the warehouse. Only to diiscover was on the other end of the store in the broken section. Why is all this not together? Why is all drywall in 2 different sections? Why for a 1/2 sheet I gotta buy a broken piece of s***?

Great store. Helpful employees. I much prefer Menards to other big-box home improvement stores. I also do not like the 11% rebates you have to mail in... wish corporate would come up with another approach.

The stores is fine. The employees are fine. The rebate scam has got to change or go. I never receive my rebates when they’re for a large amount. No way to track them. If you do hear back from the ‘rebates international team’ it’s too late and they don’t know anything but are very busy processing rebates but not yours. Please menards. You’re telling me in 2020 you can’t come up with a electronic way to track these accurately??

The store is fine and associates are helpful. My complaint is with the rebate scam that Menards offers. It is a simple tactic, they advertise their price after the rebate, but the rebate process is very tedious. You have to fill out the rebate form and mail it to the rebate center, and only one at a time. By the time you consider the cost of mailing (envelope and stamp) and time to fill it out and mail, I usually don't bother unless it is greater than $20. So keep in mind, the advertised price is not the real price your likely paying as most will probably never send in most rebates, so compare the before rebate price. They should at least go to online submission through a Menards account for ease and more environmentally friendly

I was very disappointed in the sales staff due to lack of knowledge. When speaking to a staff member his supervisor came over and interrupted the sale to to discuss his work for the shift. We were going to buy a door but sales could not show how to change from glass to screen and back. I asked price for an install but that was not available. Very poor performance.

This is the best 1 stop shop for any homeowner. They have everything you need for your home including a small grocery area with milk and eggs. Additionally, the staff is super helpful and beyond friendly.

The store should be called Rebates instead. Seriously, how annoying are the constant rebates? This place is great for when Home Depot doesn't have what you need in stock and you feel a craving to fill out some paperwork. That is as long as you are fine with some kinda off brand stuff

I do love THIS Menards! So many special finds. The staff has always been helpful. They promote courtesy in every department. BIG ups to Leo, and the lady of the shipping department. I believe MORE staff in needed though, lots of people are shopping. And we need the personal touch in every other isle.

We found the tension rods we needed - right color and length. Great. Thanks Menards. This is my third visit to a Menard's. We find the item we need and head for the checkout except, I don't know how to get to the checkout. So what do I do? I head in the same direction I enter... through the turnstyle. If you know anything about Menard's, Customer Service is just at the turnstyle. Here I am attempting to exit the enter turnstyle. There were people in line at Customer Service and two Customer Service reps and all eyes were on me trying to get through these turnstyle. Not one person said a thing to me. They just watched. Thank goodness AFV hidden camera were not present. Once I was through and walked over to the checkout cashiers, I realized the error if my ways. I did'nt laugh then but I'm laughing now as I share this story because it was funny as heck. Thanks for lo wtting me share.

Went in early this morning-Needed some cleaning supplies and degreaser~ Had a lot of questions. I was instantaneous met with a friendly face; Even though I was interrupting his stocking- he went out of his way to make sure I had the best products at efficient costs.When he couldn't answer all of my questions- he showed me to the paint department where I was met with another super polite and helpful staff member.I don't remember their names~ but I hope if they read this- they know who they are. I've never had a greater customer experience than at this Menards. Thank you so very much!

Lost my mask while shopping today. Asked customer service for one and they wanted 42 cents. Took my business elsewhere because of this. I would have spent far more than the mask. It's called customer service.
