Great Shop outside of the fact that they charge $35 for an FFL Transfer Fee cant see a reason to justify going through them when I can go to a local gun shop and pay 10 dollars less

Great service. Pat took care of an issue I had with a recently purchased firearm that I'm certain would not have been handled the same way at pretty much any other retailer out there. First I saw the boat repairman and he showed me that actually in my crossbow was fine and showed me how to check and make sure that the piece that draws the string has been released and then I asked him about caps for my Boulder staff was very nice that last part was all of their staff was very helpful

The staff at Presley's really do hunt and fish. They know their products and if there is a question that a particular staff member doesn't know, they'll find someone that does. This isn't like a certain retailer in the area where the guy stocking the archery department has never picked up a bow. They know their stuff and can make recommendations on what they actually use in the field.Selection and prices are great across the board, especially for a local, family owned place.

I purchased a mallard view ice eater . The unit came with the all of the brackets holding the motor in place completely broken, along with the blade. Mallard view sent me new parts. Soon after the motor quit working. I have reached out to mallard view and Presley who I purchased the unit through with no luck. I would steer people away from this product.

So. I called on a Saturday right after they opened. Said I wanted to spend big money on a bow. I told them what I wanted and took off on the 2hr drive there. Well I will be making that drive many more times. They made a lifelong customer out of me. Awesome store with awesome team members. Thanks guys!!

This place is awful they don't allow task trained service animals in the building which is against the law don't go here if you have a service dog as soon as I walked in with my service dog I was threatened with cops being called and told I need to leave I tried to explain that my dog was a service dog but they wouldn't listen to me I will no longer be giving this place my business if you wanna go here and you have a service animal I highly advise you not to under any circumstances if you are a public place you have to follow the Ada I will never be going back unless they learn the law around service animals if I didn't have to rely on a dog I wouldn't but I have to so it isn't a choice it's a mater of life and death for me and other service dog handlers so screw this place

Excellent customer service! Ordered two lanterns online, chose the cheapest shipping, and received them in Texas 3 days later! Called them with a question and spoke with the nicest and most helpful person. Definitely recommend this store!!!

I've always had good service from the gun counter. I came in expecting the same helpful service in the bow area as well. I walk back and there are 3 guys behind the counter chatting it up(which is fine no big deal) but 15 minutes go by as I circle the racks waiting for an opportunity to speak up and couldn't get anyone to even greet me let alone ask me if I have any questions. Well unfortunately I'll have to take my 3k bow bodget to a big box store. Which I hate doing but couldn't get any info from these guys. Maybe next time. Really enjoy purchasing from local home town stores but this experience was sad to say the least. Some good old fashioned costumer service goes along way especially when we can get better deals online or big box. People like me don't shop there for the best deals. We do it for the customer service and friendly staff......the k you and hate writing bad reviews like this.

I will never spend another cent with this place ...have spent thousands and thousands on bows ..arrows ...guns ..you name it...take my trolling motor in for repairs and long story short it took them 6 months to actually get to it.and repair the thing and left half the screws out of it..they keep a certain click of people they actually take care of and don't care what so ever about anyone else ...this place is going downhill fast

I will never again conduct business at Presleys. My wife entered Presleys Outdoors with the intention of purchasing a new firearm for herself. Despite having her FOID available and being willing to display it to ensure her eligibility for the purchase, the manager, Pat, baselessly accused her of a straw purchase. Interestingly, within the same setting, a man and his young son, approximately 7 years old, were present. The child was handling a handgun, and the father openly declared his intention to buy the pistol for his son's upcoming 8th birthday. Strangely, Pat remained silent and proceeded to assist the man and his son without any issue. My family has been loyal customers of Presleys since their Adams Street location. Many of our family members have even made the effort to return from out of state to support this family-owned enterprise. Regrettably, due to this incident, they have lost at least 10 customers. I attempted to address the matter with Pat's superior, only to be informed that the sole authority above him is the owner. Despite leaving numerous messages and making numerous calls in an attempt to communicate with the owner, I have not received any response. While the former owner ran a commendable operation, those days seem to be a thing of the past.

Great prices but their customer service for online orders is terrible and their inventory system is inaccurate. First purchase, they emailed me saying what I bought was out of stock but we got a replacement that was suitable. I made an exchange and asked what was required for the return. Nothing was required so I sent the product back with a follow-up email confirming what I was returning and what I was exchanging for. No response to the email. Sent a follow up email a week after the item showed to be delivered back to them and still no response. Called them and was blamed for not including the packing slip. If they would have said to include something, I would have. If they would have emailed back, we could have figured it out. By the time it was straightened out, the item I wanted was out of stock and discontinued. In they end, they got my return processed and sold me a replacement, but it was not good service.

Waited in the archery section for roughly 15 minutes without a single employee ask me if I need assistance. But as I was walking out I saw a person walk right to the archery dept. an immediately helped. Was prepared to purchase a bow from a locally owned store instead of the big box store. I'll find another store.

We went in to get a few real small screws. Even Tho it's a sports and outdoor store I figured maybe a screw or a few Xtra screws that they would sell for a scope or laser pointer sight. I ask 3 different people and not 1 of them LAZY P.O.S's Would even take the time to look at the size I needed or even look to see if they even had any that would even work. Forget that place. This is the 3rd time I have been in this place and it's always the same results. This is the last and final straw with these people. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER THINK BOUT GOING TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN....

After the way we were just treated in the store trying to purchase a bow, and the comments made.. we will not be back. Trying to take my little brother to buy a bow, and making comments about how it’s too late in the season to purchase, being extremely rude, and not willing to explain or show what’s in stock… we won’t be back. Everything out of the associates mouth was negative. Wanted to support local. But I will take my business elsewhere where they will appreciate the sale, explain what they have in stock, and be kind. I will be sure to tell others to refrain from going there also. This is the second negative experience in the store. The first time involving ammo, and now this. I’m done.

Ordered a pistol from Presleys on 4/28/2022. It was the sought after Springfield SA35. After I was notified that they had one on hand, I purchased it. Low and behold, my purchase was cancelled the next day as they decided to sell it to one of their friends, which I feel is highly unethical. Wont do business with them again. Update: Received a reply from Presleys Outdoors today. Their answer and I quote : We apologize for you not being able to get your gun. However your reasoning is incorrect. Our system only updates inventory once per hour. As you know this handgun is highly sought after. We sold 12 of these in that one hour time span when we only had two inventory. When this happens we let the orders go at the times in which they come in. You were one of 10 people unfortunately who did not get their order completed. Again we apologize.My response to Presleys: Obviously, you need to fix, upgrade, or replace your computer system and/or protocols to avoid these unnecessary setbacks and disruptive situations to your customers, What's your answer to that?

I go here because the staff are knowledgeable, I had a shotgun scope mounted recently and they did an awesome job right in front of me and you know the work is done right by people who care about quality. The bow department has never let me down. Thanks to all of the Presley's staff.

Presley's has a fantastic selection, locally owned so they are a little higher and price but they have some high end equipment. The down fall has always been that the employees are rude, the customer service is a serious issue. Otherwise, they're a great place to stop last minute.

They seemed very helpful, although their ordering system is terrible. I ordered a goose call, didn't receive my order for 10 days, sent an email, never received a response, called them and they said my order had been flagged as fraud. They then said I had to contact my credit card company to get my money back. I'd never heard of this before nor had my credit card company, so I filed a dispute and I ordered again, this time with my debit card and the exact thing happened. Once again they wouldn't refund my money and I had to file another dispute.

Guys were very nice even though they were slammed with hunting season starting. Re-did our reels even tho we had to come back next day for them or wait. Chose to come back. They could use some more help but who couldn't now a days. Great personality though and made it a very pleasant experience. Recommend them over bass pro anyday!!!!
