Hanna City Dollar General is a clean, well organized store that usually has everything you need. If you need service the staff is friendly and always very helpfu. I really appreciate the way they make you feel. Prices are reasonable and great coupons.

The lady who runs the store and another associate followed me around the store. When i asked what was going on and if they followed everyone around her response was only people who are suspicious. I was completely taken back by that. I of course said a few choice words and explained that in retail you never accuse anyone of anything. That is so disrespectful. Needless to say i have never been back. The management there is absolutely horrible. If that is how she is training her people that is really sad. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

Wasn't very neat nor organized like most are. Hard to locate items. Aisles were cramped and small. Asked the cashier a few times where to locate items , and she seemed bothered we bothered her though it's her job. Most dgs the staff are great and go out of their way. She was to what I could tell the only one working. It was not super busy nor crowded as to her attitude, nor were we rude or asking for items not within the realm of dg. Then we spent a half hour with the line backed up as she wasn't trained apparently on how to use ebt cash, and had to run it many times, to my embarrassment. Overall typical older not well maintained dg, lower stars are mostly for staff felt it bothering to do her job. There are other jobs, or better attitudes.

First off was having a nice day was Christmas shopping for my store and decided to go to dollar general. Quick and easy, now apon my purchase and returnreturning to the store. I realized I wasn't given my receipt. It was busy so it was easy to forget, but I needed the receipt to keep on books as proof of the purchase. Now when I got back and asked for a receipt I was told that they couldn't re print receipts. Its 2018 how can you not reprint a receipt . now after hearing this I told her if like to return everything then or else it will come out of my pocket. She told me I couldn't return anything without a receipt which they failed to give me. So now I have to pay out of my pocket for all this christmas decorations. So I do plan on calling corporate about this cause. That is literally in heard of and just plan rude in my books. And they didn't lose a customer. They lost a entire business. My stores are gonna shop at family dollar cause I know they can re print my god damn receipt. Companies that need proof of purchase you've been warned!!

Definite one of my fav Dollar general stores! Has a large variety of items, well stocked and friendly staff. My only complaint would be that it was hard at times to get around the store due to items being stocked.

Went this Morning and at 10 after 8 the store was closed with one employee standing waiting to get to work and changing management doesn't seem to fixing the problems this store is having maybe one day we will get back the store we first saw here . Alot of items we use to get here has disappeared just like the employee's it's like just a building without a purpose please bring back the store to the building or like the employee's that we lost we be customers we lost and go to different locations that are still intact Hopefully someone will care about the Customer's.

never has what im looking for in stock anymore. this store sucks. one person working the register with a million ppl in line..while other employees r wandering around or pretending to stock shelves. u can go there 15 mins after theyre suppose to have opened and the doors will still b locked. they may as well keep them locked they dont have what ur looking for anyway. sad i live in bartonville and have to go to the DG in peorias south side to get what i need. they have everything...

Its DG had many goods at low prices. Its not walmart so they dont have virtually everything? But near to it. If u want a quick shop for basic grocery items for easy dinners, or to help fill a pantry it's a good spot. It also has an array of items in many categories. Paper goods, cleaners small household repair, office supplies. Holiday decor and small furnishing. A great convenience store for that quick need, or lower priced good you have been wantingIt can usually be found at DG.

This store is dirty and messy. Floors r dirty and stock is crammed all over the place..alot still in boxes w empty shelves. On plus side staff is always pleasant and prompt.

I like Dollar General for quick trips and convenience items. They also have items that you cannot find other places such as wonderfully printed rubber entry rugs for $5.00!

It's a Dollar General... what do you want me to say? It's cleaner than most other DG in the area. Only criticism is they could up their staffing. All in all, good family fun.

Did the clearance isle, half the items rang up full price. Didn't take off my 5.00 off 25.00.Cashier was very slow.Store was way too cluttered.Dg owes me about 15.00

Always helpful staff! It's about an everyday stop for me. Down the street from my house. Great for little grocery or toiletries trips.

Good for a quick stop. Shop around and you will see not everything is a great deal. It is kind of dingy and dark.
