We have been working with Bark Avenue for over 6 1/2 years. We started with our golden retriever Kula, and now we have a new dog Banks, who is quite the opposite temperament so we have work to do! We started with obedience training and are working our way into the grooming and daycare services. One stop shop! We love the team — from the front desk to the trainers — they are very dedicated and give us the personalized care our pets need.

We have had several training sessions with our rescue fur-baby. Maddie is very comfortable with her trainer and the facility. What impresses me the most is how Kelly spends almost as much time educating me on what to do and how to do it, and to have patience as I work with my baby. Kelly is teaching both me and our puppy what to do. Kelly is great!

Bark Ave is the only place we board our dog. The professionalism of staff is outstanding. Our dog has special needs and they accommodate her. Highly recommend this facility.

We’ve had the best experience with Bark Ave. in Bartlett! They took care of our puppy for almost a full week and I was able to text them anytime I wanted for an update and they responded so quickly. Dallas didn’t seem to want to go home after his stay, so I think that’s a good sign! They initially did a free day camp evaluation before they would accept him for boarding just to make sure he got along with other dogs and has a good temperament. All of the staff were super sweet and you could tell they love being around dogs. I will definitely take Dallas there again!

We just boarded Remy for three days at Bark Avenue Daycamp while we moved. This took a lot of stress off of us while she got to play and be well cared for. We had absolutely no concerns about boarding during these uncertain times for our pups. The steps that Michelle Hattam Sarwas and her team have always taken to ensure a safe and healthy environment made our decision easy! We’ll be back in January!

This was our first class with Bark Avenue Level 1. Our 9 month old poodle did so well with Jordan's instructions. Her calm demeanor helped keep the dogs calm and interested. We are looking forward to the next few classes with Jordan. I highly recommend Bark Avenue for Training.

Bark Avenue is so wonderful with our dog Teddy, who is quite a handful! Kelly is a fantastic trainer who is making a big difference in our lives with Teddy - getting her to be more well behaved even as she remains exuberant! Day Camp, Boarding, and front desk staff are all knowledgeable and friendly! Teddy has a great time at Bark Avenue!

Large facility, well equipped for dozens of dogs — and each are expertly categorized into packs that they are most comfortable in. My pup comes home pooped every night after doggy camp. She loves playing with other dogs and enjoying time outside in the sun. The staff is very friendly, and everyone seems to have a good knowledge of dogs and the best way to care for them. I also like that they have an app for you to schedule (and pre-pay for) any services, that makes it very convenient.

I have no idea what happened with our pups, but they both came back after a 5 day board in pain. One has the human version of athletes foot and the other has pain around his ribs. They came back smelling of urine. They CLEARLY wanted to leave as soon as we picked them up. No one communicated to us that either one of them had an issue. Both had to be taken to the vet right away as we did not know what happened. I called several times to see if anything abnormal happened and there was no answer. Our one pup was very guarded towards her brother and they made it seem like that was a bad thing. We were told the older pup (10+years), would be in an area with calmer, older dogs, however when we watched the video, he was in with the general population. Both pups are still trying to acclimate to their normal routine, but both are having some issues. Our younger one was completely potty trained prior to the boarding, and she has been having accidents in the house since she has been back. We measured out their food to the T and they came back with extra.I honestly feel they had too many dogs at once and not enough staff. They don’t communicate when issues arrive. Unfortunately, we will no longer be taking them back.

My dog is pretty temperamental (chihuahua) so I was pretty apprehensive about boarding him. What brought me to Bark Avenue was their free assessment. We dropped him off in the morning and picked him up 8 hours later, and he did great according to the staff. We’ve boarded him here once with plans to use their services again. Highly recommended!

My dog used to go to a different daycare and after about a year begin hiding behind the seat and looking sad when she went in. After some rude comments by the owner, I finally decided to try a different daycare. Coming to Bark Ave has been such a blessing! She loves coming in, has started to walk in on her own without a lead (very opposite her timid personality) and seems to just love it there. Definitely would recommend.

Great first session of the PAWesome activities class! Trainer took the time to work with my skittish shepherd and didn't force some "cookie cutter" method on her. By the end, my pup was happy to take treats and instruction directly from the trainer. Really excited if this is what the rest of the sessions will be like :)

Taking my dog Kedzie to Bark Avenue was hands down the best decision I made for her. They do it all and they do it well. From training, day camp, boarding, and grooming you can’t go wrong! I have tried other day camps and Bark Avenue is by far the best one I have encountered. Not only is it an amazing and clean facility, but every single staff member I have worked with is caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Kedzie and I are big fans and look forward to working with the Bark Avenue team for years to come!

Amazing staff . You will leave with satisfaction that your baby is in right hand . I like their facility too . Spacious, neat and caring staff .Though I am also looking forward for live cameras so that if I wanna see my Furry I can😊 and that way I can leave him tension free for long boardings as he is having separation anxietyWanna express gratitude to Bark Avenue for their services . I’ve only brought my dog there 3-4 times and find the staff very friendly. I have a rescue BIG dog that was abused. so far, I’m pleased with outcome at facility. They let the dogs mingle with one another.

I was looking for a daycare for my dog for socialization- he was attacked and bit by a neighbor’s dog a month ago and I wanted him to spend time with other dogs to ensure no lasting issues from the attack. I had my dog evaluated at Pals for Pups in Roselle and they rejected him after observing him for 5-10 minutes with 2 dogs saying he was not a good fit but we could come back if another daycare took him in and would recommend him. Thank goodness I found Bark Avenue. They did a 1/2 day evaluation where he was around numerous dogs. He was shy/anxious but no aggression and even played with a few dogs by the end of the morning. I am so grateful to Bark Avenue for giving Buddy a chance. Everyone is so kind and patient; I can rest easy knowing he is in good hands. It’s also nice to know I have a reliable place to use if I need to board him. This is a great place for daycare. I highly recommend you check them out!

This was the first time I boarded my fur-babies. I was a little apprehensive because I didn’t know how they were going to react with all the other dogs and being in a strange place for so long. The Bark Avenue Crew was quick to respond to my text messages and I could see how much fun they were having when I logged into the website. I am really pleased with Bark Avenue. They are so accommodating and the half-days are such a blessing. You can call and they usually allow you to drop off your dog the next day. The hours are really great. The staff is a pleasure to work with and my dog (Poppy) likes them too. I am grateful they are only a 10 minute drive. I also like that they screen the dogs to make sure they have their shots and that your dog will be ok to mingle with the other dogs. It is not like going to a dog park and you really don't know what will happen.

Bark Avenue is fantastic! We have brought Loki there for day camp, boarding and he did the board and train there. He LOVES going and I never have to worry while he's there. Can’t possibly say enough great things about Bark Avenue. Ollie can’t wait to get to daycamp and he adores everyone there. The staff will always let me know if there is any problem be it physical Or behavioral. They are very careful with making sure all dogs have had their shots and are in good health. I’ve recommended them to a few other friends for both daycamp and overnight stays. By the way, their groomer is also top notch!
