I had my Golden Retriever groomed today by Bethany, and she did a fantastic job! My dog's tail was covered in burs from my backyard and she managed to remove all of them while keeping his tail beautifully full. He smelled wonderful and even had his paws trimmed! I requested a bandana at pick up and was informed that Bethany had left for the day, but the associate who brought my pet out already had the bandana ready! That's amazing communication between the associates and it really made my experience with the salon great. I'll be back with him again soon!

Been taking my basset hound, Fred, to the PetSmart pet salon for a few months now, and it's been nothing short of fantastic. Each visit is a reassuring experience, especially for a pet parent like me. Fred's a bit of a nervous Nelly during drop-offs, but when I come to pick him up, he's the happiest, most energetic pup you've ever seen. It's clear the staff not only pampers him but also genuinely cares for his wellbeing.What really impresses me is how they handle Fred's grooming needs. Basset hounds shed a lot more than you'd expect, but since we've started regular grooming sessions, I've noticed a significant reduction in the amount of hair he leaves around the house. It's been a game-changer for keeping the home clean and Fred comfortable.The ease of booking appointments online with a PetSmart account is a huge plus. It's straightforward, and they're very accommodating if you happen to be running a few minutes behind. Do keep in mind that each grooming session takes about 2-3 hours, so plan accordingly.The salon staff are always friendly and welcoming. They take their time to discuss what they'll be doing and ask if there are any special requirements or concerns. Post-grooming, they provide a detailed breakdown of the session, which I find very informative and reassuring. It's this level of attention and service that keeps us coming back.Overall, I'm thrilled with the level of care and expertise at PetSmart's pet salon. Fred's monthly grooming sessions have become an essential part of our routine. It's a great feeling to know that your furry family member is in good hands. Highly recommend it to any pet parent looking for quality grooming services!

Picked up some more fish that the kids said "they needed," and it wasn't a fish.We (i) was talked into a school of fish.You know, they have to be moved with ALL their friends too. And because this store had several black fish in that species which " are hard to get" "we" had to have them.Staff was great, chased several fish 10 mins.Store was clean which included tanks,cages, and habitatsSo even though it was a BIG BOX store, it was kept up.

A few months ago, I brought my dog here to get her nails trimmed. When I entered the grooming station, the girls behind the counter kept asking me to go up to the register and pay while they trimmed my dog's nails. My dog is very docile, and I did not feel comfortable leaving her. After the employee asked me 3-4 times to leave the grooming area, I refused, and I am so happy I stayed.For reference, my dog is 70 lbs and older. She was unable to jump on the platform due to her weight and age. I asked the employee if I could please come behind the counter and hold my dog's harness, and I was told that is not allowed. The employee then started pulling my dog by the neck to get her up on the platform. The second employee sitting there could tell how upset I was, and said to the other employee "you should ask for a team lift." Finally, a third employee came out to help lift my dog.After getting my dog on the platform, as expected, my dog just stood there both quiet and I am assuming scared. My dog jumped down, and as she was running toward me, hit one of the grooming station poles due to the employees having another dog right at the entrance/exit to the grooming area.When I went to my vet later that day, I was told that my dog showed signs of strangulation. The following day, I went to speak with the manager of PetSmart who had reviewed the tapes and said "I wouldn't say she was strangled." I then informed him that my vet disagreed, and I will be listening to my veterinarian.It has been months now, and my dog is still exhibiting signs of discomfort, and I have spent thousands in medical costs. I was also told by the store manager that the vets have done everything they can for my dog, and he didn't know what else could possibly pop up.I don't know what gives Petsmart employees the right to speak about my dog's health and prognosis without a medical degree. It is wildly inappropriate and out of line.I will never bring my dog to this location again. I highly regret visiting that day, as I am still addressing this situation months later. For those of you who don't trim your own dog's nails, please spend the extra few dollars and go to a vet. It could potentially save you thousands.

This is just a genuinely clean and well laid out pet store! And there's a doggy daycare for those with pups - I always love walking by it on my way to the cat section, and watching the dogs play (last time, a worker was blowing bubbles for them to play with, and it was adorable! I'm also glad the dogs get some enrichment while they're in daycare!)

Staff assigned did now show yesterday. Rescheduled for today 2/23. Got 5% off. When went to pick up my dog @ 4pm. No one grooming desk. Yelled etc. They were busy in back. Finally sat on floor and waited 25 min. Not even a real apology.And a bad job on the face like nothing was done

Please have store/ animal care manager reach out to me about getting your poor bettas into better enclosures. I'm a local hobbyist aquarist willing to help. The store seems lacking in customer service as is, so a better reputation to support what the store stands for cant harm you. Staff needs to be passionate about animalsAs for customers, stop buying animals you haven't even researched. Get better products as well.

Lexi was amazing with my Great Pyrenees! He is a very nervous and shy boy and they made him feel right at home. I could tell by the time I picked him up he was so happy and felt very comfortable with them which can be difficult for him! I could tell that Lexi worked very hard with him and it was not an easy job. He is a big boy with a lot of fur but she handled it like a champ. Lexi not only did an amazing job with him but gave me so many tips on how to treat his fur type in the future. I could tell she and her team loved my boy and were very passionate about helping dogs. So nice to know my boy was in a good hands while he was away from me! Sadly, I am moving to Wisconsin but if I wasn’t, I would no doubt take him here again!

We tried out this store, looking for more toys for our cockatiel. We were not overly impressed with the selection, especially since you sell birds. There was some stuff, but not as much as other locations we have been to. Staff was friendly!

Ummm so we weren't greeted when we walked in, nor were we told goodbye either. The store seemed cleaned the issue was ALL THE WRITING/DRAWING on all the aquariums and cages for the animals. Made it hard to see them all and dont understand why it was EVERYWHERE. I've been to 2 closer PetSmarts and have never seen all that. Another issue I found with this location is I'm not sure if this in a "hangout" place for teenagers these days but it made it hard to look at any of the animals. It was a group of atleast 8 and they just kept being in our way...so needless to say we ended up leaving with nothing. Recommendation....Get a snake or two like all the other locations. 👍

Rude employees who will be as unhelpful as they can. I was treated like a jerk for asking about marine aquarium sand. Go somewhere else like the petco in Danada sq, which is what I did.

I took my 16 month old husky here for puppy lessons taught by Sarah. My dog was wild, disobedient, completely out of control. Only 6 weeks later and despite his age my husky is a completely different dog. Sarah worked very hard with my dog and me. She took her time, had patience, showed us proper Discipline and reinforcing behaviors. I’m simply amazed with the outcome. I will recommend her to any and everyone. If you want a amazing and disciplined dog she is the one to go to. Special thank you to Sarah!

Actually, 4.5 stars. Very friendly, helpful. I was able to get everything I needed for my new puppy, except a couple items, 4 star. The nice lady who assisted us with engraving Leia's first ID, 5 star. She was so nice, helpful. And, she informed me of a puppy playtime they do once a month. Can't wait to bring Leia to this. She will have so much fun playing with the other puppies, I hope :)

I love the Pet Hotel here! I just moved to Naperville last year and went on vacation. A friend of mine recommended keeping my dog (small 20 lb. chihuahua/terrier mix) boarded at Petsmart. I was skeptical since it’s a store and the place I used to go to was just a daycare/boarding place and was very nice and clean. I did not want my dog to be kept in a cage. But Petsmart is amazing. I could tell that the staff took care of the animals, they provide daycare everyday for exercise, have suites for your pet, and offer extras like grooming and treats (for an additional charge). I was very happy with the boarding and grooming services here and will bring my dog here again this summer.

Their leopard geckos are kept in small, disgusting enclosures with reptile carpet (which is not appropriate for them) and left with severe stuck shed. They are not tended to or cared for. They do not care about correct husbandry when it comes to their reptiles. Petsmart should be BANNED from keeping reptiles if they can't house them appropriately.Leopard geckos are also listed as a "Beginner" reptile, which is completely false. Their husbandry recommendations are always horribly incorrect as a way to make them sound "easy" to care for to make a sale. SHAME ON YOU PETSMART!

A store that offers free water testing has been mass killing their fish because of a chemical issue for multiple weeks now.You can tell a lot about a pet store by their fish tanks. You need to be proactive and dedicate time to keeping them clean. The fact most takes have fish that have clearly been dead for multiple days and are in the process of being eating by the other fish says a lot. I know petsmart as a whole used COVID as an excuse to execute a long desired plan to kill staffing levels and it really shows they shouldn’t have any pets in their care

This location is always clean, employees are friendly. They have adorable kitties available for adoption. The store is always stocked well. The aquariums are kept clean. They'll do open registers if needed so you will not have to worry about waiting in line. Also a great place to find deals on dog treats

I boarded my two cats with the Petshotel at this location and they were fantastic! Always happy to give me an update and I could tell they just adored my babies! They played with them everyday and everybody was so helpful and kind, 10/10 service and care!
