I was traveling through the area for work when my dog began vomiting and acting strange. Someone recommended Foxmoor Vet to me and I’m so happy they did! I was able to get a same day work in appointment, which was fantastic. From start to finish, Doctor to technicians, everyone was so kind and helpful. Thanks to everyone involved for getting my girl on the mend!

I rarely ever leave reviews, but if you care about your pets please DO NOT take them here! I initially started coming here due to the good reviews online, but I was naive. I have not had issues with the front desk or vet techs. The vets, however, do not do a thorough enough exam. I decided to take my pets elsewhere for a second opinion and the level of care is drastically different. I did not realize this until I left this practice. I agree with other reviews stating they do not always check the dog’s ears, eyes, or mouth or discuss simple things like their weight or oral health. The exam they do here is 1-2 minutes tops and it is very brief. My new vet examined my dog for at least 10 minutes from head to toe, palpated their entire body, took their vitals all in front of me. They also told me one of my dogs has cataracts, which was never informed to me by Foxmoor. I have also had concerns about masses/lumps which were just recently measured by my new vet to check for changes in size. This was never done by Foxmoor vets. Some concerns I have had also seem brushed off at times without any further explanation despite asking them more information. I work in healthcare as a provider and I believe you should leave your appointment feeling informed and knowledgable about what is going on with your pet, which I did not feel was the case here. You can get better care elsewhere for the price as they upcharge a lot as well for testing that is not always necessary.

0 stars wasn't an option. This clinic is all about money. My 16 year old cat, Mikey, passed away New Years Eve night.Couldn't take him to the vet for cremation until Tuesday the 2nd.I took him in, and to my disbelief the cost was $675.00 for a 3 pound cat. I had no choice since I was on my way to work and could not carry around a dead animal for hours. When I received his ashes back, a kind note was enclosed from the crematory, Trusted Journey in Plainfield. I called them to get a price on a 3 pound cat which was $280 for a single cremation. I called Foxmoor for an explanation for the ridiculous markup and was told by Karen that they had their own extra charges like UPS and preparation of Mikey. How do you prepare a dead cat?Their outrageous greed during my vulnerable emotional state of mind is beyond cruel.I would never trust them with the care of my pet as their pricing seems to take advantage of grieving people.Karen, your response is untrue. I was there with my niece several years ago to have a cat put down. The cost of euthanasia and cremation was less than $300. Our 2 dogs were immunized several times and one of them was groomed at your clinic before you started closing on Saturdays. My review isn't alone citing your greed.I am waiting for an itemized bill to see how much you charge to prepare a dead cat and UPS charges

I’ve had great experiences the times that I’ve taken my dog here! The staff is very friendly.

Ever since moving to the area I have been bringing my dog Khloe here for her grooming a and routine check up visits. Khloe loves the staff here and I know that they always treat her as if she were their own pet.

I took Sammy to Foxmoor a few weeks ago because he had some issues. Let me tell you, the staff there were incredibly friendly and really helped me keep Sammy under control. He was pretty excited, and I was concerned about him possibly biting someone as he had done elsewhere. But the staff were very patient and understanding when working with him.Dr. Feldman was great. She took the time to explain the steps they would take during the process and even shared some insights into what might be causing Sammy's problems. Throughout the whole thing, Sammy was fantastic, and they had no trouble with him at all. I was honestly quite shocked!Afterward, the doctor came out and explained what they had discovered, prescribing some medication to resolve the issues they found hopefully. I've been to several clinics over the years but have yet to find one that felt as personalized and attentive as Foxmoor. It was like they treated Sammy as if he was their only patient.Since our visit, Sammy seems like a completely different dog, and I'm genuinely looking forward to a long-term relationship with Foxmoor. Finding a place that takes such good care of him and makes us feel so welcome is refreshing.David

We love Foxmoor, Dr. Feldman and all of the staff! The only clinic we would ever want to bring our cat Booger to! They definitely treat our little family member as one of their own :)

Update on 5-star review from last year: go here if you crave the emotional toxicity of your worst Ex because that’s what you’ll be greeted with at the front desk. The mismanager there (name: karen) is combative and literally abusive to humans, thank goodness she doesn’t deal directly with pets but she still compromises their care by her inability or unwillingness to read their own in-house vet reports. Then when you approach her about one of these many issues (or the shady out-of-state prescription company they now partner with) she gaslights you and blows up, blaming you instead of demonstrating any accountability. It’s a waste of time, energy, patience and money and to such an alarming degree it’d be laughable if it weren’t so consequential.I’m taking my 2 cats to oswego vet (Dr Sullivan was our fav and he left here too) and my mom is switching her cat and 2 dogs there as well. Looking at other reviews here and the passive-aggressive (or just aggressive!) responses wherein Karen never apologizes for anything nor takes any responsibility, it’s little wonder Foxmoor went from a 5-star review just last year to losing 5 more clients between just me and the 1 person I previously recommended here years ago. But it’s not just me cause others have abandoned this place like the sinking ship it is so at least if you must go here, you’ll have no trouble getting an appointment. Maybe the 1 vet that remains is competent and compassionate but you’d never know that from the front desk person who is literally a customer repellent by harassing and verbally abusing the customers….Not sustainable business practices to say the least. Used to love this place but it’s now just a perfect candidate for a case study in how to drive a business right off a proverbial cliff. They fail to provide answers instead gaslighting and abusing you, and avoiding phone calls. She’s more likely to take the time to construct a super defensive combative reply to this where she blames us all while throwing up some false self gratifying claims of what an upstanding person she is and what unparalleled business they provide. We’re so done here, my 2 cats and my moms dogs are taking their many years of future business $$$ elsewhere.

Love Foxmoor, Dr. Feldman, and all the staff! We have had nothing but positive experiences. My dogs are always treated so well, and I appreciate the communication they provide and the compassion they show me when I advocate on behalf of my dogs. One of my dogs can be tough to groom and he has done so much better at Foxmoor than he has at all of the the other groomers I have tried. Can not recommend them more!

Absolutely love the Doctors and Staff here! I love the family feel I get from Foxmoor! They are all so thorough and knowledgeable from the receptionist to the techs and Doctors. I can ask all the questions and they answer every single one without hesitation. My Fur Babies love coming in. My Westie gets really anxious for grooming but the groomer, Keely, always makes her feel so comfortable and ensures that she is in a safe place. My other dog is a rescue and he loves seeing the staff, they always make him feel so special and spoiled with attention. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Feldman and Dr. D Jacobsen to anyone, I trust they have my Fur Babies best interest in mind and treat them as their own. :)

I took our two dogs in for their annual checkup & vaccines & the female vet took each dog individually out of the exam room to perform the checkups in the back. BIG RED FLAG! I now know to never let a vet do that again. I have no idea what was supposedly checked, but they must not have checked the one dogs eyes because she had cataracts & they never mentioned it! Previously, a male vet was to have performed an annual check up on one of our cats & he never even looked in her ears! This clinic does not hire good, caring vets to take care of peoples' fur babies. They should be ashamed.

This clinic does a great job with caring for our Goberian, Bailey. They handle her gently and always offer suggestions and recommendations. I also appreciate the courtesy reminder text when it’s time for health check ups or grooming.

I should have wrote this review awhile ago but better late than never right?! I can’t really speak to much on the doctor (the actual vet) because I didn’t really have any real interactions with him or her. I think only maybe 1 time and it was “ok” I will say this Foxmoor likes to charge you for every little thing which is quite exhausting and petty to me! I took my dog there and the first thing that they do is weigh your pet. My dog is a small breed and his breed is even popular with a lot of celebs. This lady Diane was acting as if she didn’t want to pick him up because he was being playful which is one of his breed’s characteristics. I’m just standing their looking at her like…. are you kidding me? why are you working around animals? this is apart of your job! So, I waited until no clients was in the waiting area because I didn’t want her nor the company to feel like I’m trying to front their business off but she (Diane ) didn’t appreciate that and got very nasty with me! Please keep in mind that I just don’t argue because life is too short! But she was trying to get one from me! I’m pleased to say that “ she did not!” A couple of days later I received a call from Foxmoor’s female manager which I don’t remember her name but it’s in other reviews on their website. I would have to say that she was just as nasty! Of course I decided not to ever bring my dog there again! My dog goes to a very nice veterinary clinic (Sunshine) everyone there on up to the veterinarian is extremely friendly! Hope this review helps your decision on where to take your pet! 7-25-23 Do you guys see the response from the owner! I’m laughing so hard it’s uncontrollable!! Why would I want to call and speak to Karen (manager) when I clearly stated in my original post that she was nasty towards me! I won’t give her a second chance to do it again. As far as my dog’s receptivity it was the manager that stated “ oh we know him like the back of our hands” No, you guys don’t because if you did then Diane would have picked him up to weigh him! I’m not going to respond to anymore of this nonsense. I just would refrain from taking your pet to this clinic and go to Sunshine as I stated in my original post!

I regularly bring my foster dogs to Foxmoor and they are always treated with kindness and care. The receptionist and vet techs are always pleasant to work with and take time with me if I have a few extra questions about post-visit care.

They reported my cat to the county for not having the rabie shot up to date. ISSUE::: They have reported my mother in law which has never owned the cat or has been listed on any paperwork. My cats name is incorrect, and I don't even live in the county. Why they have her information beats me. Now I have to take a day off of work to go to court. Terrible. I have so many questions but no answers from the staff. The county stated that the clinic has messed up several pets.

The Vet was nice and answered my questions. Staff seemed nice as well. My 1st time visiting. I'm not use to having to purchase my own rabies ID tag for my pet nor filing claims for my pet's insurance. If I continue to patronize them, I guess I should. I'll let you know. UPDATE: I will never return. Seemed to only care about the money. Staff was uncaring & the Vet was worse. He rushed my visit and seemed annoyed that I asked a question. Later I received a letter from the County that I was a neglectful pet owner because my pet had not received shots, etc. & I was going to be fined hundreds of dollars if not taken care of. I was livid. I proved that not only had I had services done but also it wasn't even time for his next shots. I was told a lot of pet owners were reported from this so-called veterinarian agency and people were also upset. DO NOT GO THERE. I'm late updating my review only because I had forgotten about doing an initial one.

Foxmoor is the absolute best! I not only adopted my puppy Kiba from them for a great price, but I continue to use them for all of his vet/grooming needs. The location is a bit of a drive from my home, so at one point I tried swapping to a vet closer to my place. That was a huge mistake. One experience and I knew that nobody does it like them! My dog is treated kindly and they always go over every question I have and walk you through treatment steps! My dog actually even loves the employees there, he’s not afraid to come to the vet!!! Bring your pets here if you want top quality care with affordable prices!

I took my sparkles here for a year before she passed away. The vet techs and Dr Feldmann took GREAT care of her since she had a lot of skin issues. I had a hard time trusting people but this staff were great at reassuring and always loved seeing Sparkles which made me feel at ease. Really recommend this vet clinic! Will definitely be coming here for my future pets <3

It was our first time using a vet with our new kitten and they were so kind and helpful! They were very informative and everything went very smoothly! They had excellent service and had good protocols in place for safety due to the virus. They took our kitten in her carrier from our car to the clinic and brought her and all the paperwork back out to us. They also wore masks. The Vet called me while I was in my car in the parking lot and went over Lyras exam and answered all my questions! I appreciated their attention to safety for themselves and us! It was very efficient! Thank you Foxmoor clinic!

I could give 0 stars if I could.WARNING : DONOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE !!As a women of color I felt so disrespected from the lady at the front desk. Right from the moment I entered into the office it was such a negative vibe and the rudeness from the lady.FOXMOORE CORPORATE should take a look at the staff and teach them to be more cordial to all the customers. The facility took a 50$ deposit to book an appointment and the day I arrived at 8am they tell that my puppy is due for a rabies vaccine. When told the facility to go ahead get the vaccine done, she said she can take the dog in 8am and give him a bath and just make him sit to dry off until the doctor comes which is at 12pm. As the doctor is not in, I asked the lady to book another day where he can get vaccine and grooming done without him waiting for longer hours, she asked me to pay another deposit saying I cancelled for today,How in the world does that make sense ? The facility did not even call me the before day and inform me that1. The dog does not have rabies vaccine done.2. That the doctor would only be in at 12pm for the dog to get vaccine done.3. That they would give a bath to the dog at 8am and only groom after the doctor comes at 12pm. So basically the dog would just be hanging in for 4 hours in a crate.4. How would a customer be aware of all these policies? Either the customer should be informed about all these or when asked to reschedule or cancel considering what has happened they should be refund for the original appointment and taking deposit for a new appointment. This place just wants money. They don’t show you or your pet any cordial behavior nor respect. The groomer did not even come and pet the dog , I have never ever in my life seen a groomer just standing still in a corner and waiting for the dog to come to her. Such a joke. How can these people just be in this animal care industry when they don’t care about your pets. Just atrocious behavior. RUDE BEHAVIOR AND GREEDY FOR MONEY by the staff in this facility. This place has lost all of the good staff and doctors in the last 2 years. Pls save your time and DONOT GO HERE.

Arranged to pick up meds at a certain time and arrived. Front desk person stood talking with client in exam room with door open. She saw me waiting, their whole conversation was heard and it was not about current sick pet but I stood and waited for nearly 45 minutes while she finished this conversation. Very very poor service.

I had a vet appt with someone else and when I showed up they told me I couldn't go in with my puppy. My new rescue puppy. So I canceled and called Foxmoor (who was referred to us by our neighbor) and they fit me in that same day. They were super nice, really helpful and honest about the costs for us which actually helped us to save money in the long run. I wish we had found them sooner!

I took my almost 7 year old German shepherd/shepherd mix dog here a few days ago for his yearly exam and vaccinations. The staff and veterinarian were all friendly and professional.Update: I needed to set up an appointment for my dog. He's not been feeling well. I called 4 times on Friday and got a voice mail. No one called me back. Waited until Monday morning because they are closed for the weekend. I left several messages and text. I finally get a phone call back from Karen and was scolded . That something must be wrong with my phone because she'd been sitting by the phone all morning and it never rang. Here I am very concerned for my dog and all she cares about is the messages and phone calls she apparently didn't get. She was rude. The tone in her voice was not nice. She didn't even care about my sick dog.I like this vet and the Dr that sees my animals. My husband and I have used this vet for a long time and I haven't had any problems up until this morning.

I took my dog here for a big bump on her neck. The vets were very good at explaining what was going on with my dog. They took real good care of her and got the lump removed. All the staff here definitely had my dog's best interests at heart. My dog is doing great and I definitely owe it all to the staff here! I highly recommend this vet if you are in need of a great place that will care for your pets!

Dr Sullivan was amazing! Visiting out of town for the holiday and my dog became sick. I was worried it was something major but he assured me she will be fine! The staff was incredibly kind and answered all my questions. Even though my husband couldn't come in due to their COVID policy, they all were great answering all my questions! Thank you!!!

Brought my dog here after having a horrible experience with our previous vet when he began to develop hot spots and was licking himself raw on his paws...our dog has severe anxiety going to the vet, and COVID protocol didn't help ease his fears. When I explained the situation to the vet, they recommended sedating our dog to help ease his anxiety and so that they could examine him safely for both the dog and themselves. I loved that they were patient and came up with options and solutions instead of just guessing what might be wrong and guessing on what medicine to give him. The entire team here is professional, compassionate and kind! Thank you for helping to ease my anxiety of bringing our lovable but crazy Ruckus to the vet!

This veterinary practice only cares about the money and not the health of our dogs!! There was a disagreement between the receptionist and my wife over one of our dogs which caused the vet, Dr. Sullivan to refuse to treat which ended up with our dog losing his eye. Then they refused to renew a medication request from Chewy for regular allergy meds for another one of our dogs even after being informed of the severe nature of the allergic reaction when all they had to do was approve the order. How unbelievably unprofessional!! Please do not trust this veterinary practice with the health and welfare of your animals!!!!

The employees and doctors at this clinic are absolutely phenomenal. I had a dog pass recently and I have another currently in his last stage of life, and they always act with compassion and you can tell they truly care. One day I came in to pick up some medication, and before I even gave them my name they asked me how my elderly dog was by name. These people are true animal lovers and I would never go elsewhere with my dogs.

This was our first visit for services. They explained what was needed and why, and they took special care with my one dog that is a senior with arthritis and nearly blind. They did an excellent job getting the dogs shots up to date and grooming them to perfection. Our babies look fabulous. This is my new go to place for my pets care and maintenance.
