I used to LOVE the DQ but it seems like they take everything that is good off the menu for 1. For 2 the customer service is awful, it's ran by all teenagers as to be expected, but still, where r the managers telling them what for. 3rd for the price of the food there, what you get is NOT and I mean NOT worth it. The only good thing there is the ice cream. And it's only good if that's all your getting because if u order food they will make the ice cream first and let it melt while you wait in the drive through for an hour and then your food is not even made right or done well. I tried again tonight just because it was easy and I got a flamethrower burger and they didn't even put lettuce or tomato and barley any flame sauce. Like common DQ 30 bucks to feed 2 people and soggy buns and not even made right like what the hell man. Not cool. Management needs to seriously take the reins and fix the quality management. The only good manager I ever saw didn't work there very long, but she was nice and held the other employees accountable for quality and accuracy, they need someone like her again.

Great owners! I have never met an owner that cares so much about his store and his employees. He goes in and works so hard. He covers for his employees when there is no one else to cover. He doesn't just show up and write checks. He is there almost everyday making sure his work family are doing okay. His wife is an amazing woman who also work very hard. They are doing everything they can for the store and their employees.

Time and time again we get the worst customer service ever. We’ve been going to virden, which isn’t convenient, but at least they greet you when you pull up and ice cream isn’t slopped all down the cup when I order in the drive thru. Every time. We always order extra toppings, and It’s a 50/50 shot whether or not you get it. They never say sorry, thank you, you’re welcome, or smile. I get it, the employees don’t want to be there. You’ve made it more than clear you don’t want to be. We’ve called to complain, the manager has never seem too worried about it. I guess they figure they’re the only place in town. I’ll keep driving 5 miles to the next town for it. We don’t get to eat like this on a regular basis, so for us, it’s definitely a treat. Just ridiculous to expect me to put a cup of ice cream in my car w ice cream slopped all down it. To feel like you’re annoying them w your order, and it’s expensive. Forget this, we’ll never do it again.

Okay service though I think rumors the cones are getting smaller may be true. Giving 4 instead of 5 stars because I had to keep asking for my receipt.For drive in it seemed okay. Forgot their product doesn't have enough milk fat tho be considered ice cream so definitely not used to the higher sugar of ice milk though my son loves it.

Is it just me, or does Dairy Queen always taste better and more fresh than the majority of other fast food restaurants. There is a reason why my local dairy Queen is always packed even though we live in a city with literally hundreds of other food options. I have never had a bad experience at any dairy Queen I have ever been at and that's definitely not the case for any other fast food restaurant. Usually with fast food it's hit, or miss. This Dairy Queen was also very good as I expected it would be. Isn't it Dairy Queen that has those commercials that say it's "fan food" instead of fast food? Because if it is, I totally agree.

My husband went to get dinner it took forever in the drive-thru. My childs chicken strips were rock hard. My flamethrower burger had no tomato or lettuce. My burger was cut down the middle half way bun and all??!?!? WHY!?!He got the$ 6.00 meal and didn't receive his sundae. We ordered queso sauce and never recieved it. Won't be going back!! $30..00 down the drain!!!

I have given this place chance after chance. Now I only eat ice cream if anything. Final straw was ordering via Mobil app, requesting curb side and sat there waiting for 20 minutes. Finally went to drive up window and they didn't apologize just said no we don't come out of the restaurant. Laziness>Covid concerns. Visit with caution ⚠️

My family and I went to this Dairy Queen like we usually do after our quarter auction. When we arrived and then ordered our food the guy behind the counter told us that it would be A FULL WAIT TIME, because we came after 8:00pm. What is a full wait time anyways? Hey, sorry your gonna be waiting full time for your food, seriously? When we did get our food as the guy was handing it out he said the wrong orders, so as we started to explain that our orders were wrong he started to get an attitude. I ordered a six piece chicken finger with a side of cheese curds, and my aunt ordered a four piece chicken finger with fries. They switched up our orders, and then didn’t give me the right order of chicken fingers. He then told us just to switch our food and it would all be ok. Then my mother said that her burger was not warm at all. Even though they repeatedly told us the food was made to order, but the last time we came here the food was so hot that we couldn’t even eat it. So where they pulled that made to order out of was ridiculous. The guy who talked to us had a terrible horrendous attitude and did not know how to communicate with customers. Then he asked if we wanted to see the manager, we said that’s ok we will just finish and go. We then decided that yeah we should talk to the manger. We asked a sweet girl cleaning up tables to get the manager for us. When she got to the table she explained that the employee had said something to her about what happened, and said she would take care of him. My mother explained what happened and everything, and she was still rude. My mother said her burger was cold and the manger said it has been sitting right? But the food had just come up and again they continued to say it was made to order. So the manager just offered us a refund, no apology and then couldn’t count the right change. So I guess they have some counting issues? And no customer service. Then on top of it my grandmother came in to order a drink and three of the employees at the counter looked right at her and then ignored her. They even gave us the receipt which had the right order. They also handed out the wrong orders to everyone. I recommend some customer service training. I would check on them grills because, our food was “so hot”.

The past three times I’ve been to the Auburn Dairy Queen my food has been amazing. Nothing was burnt and it all tasted great. Not sure what has been changed but good job. Will continue to choose Auburn Dairy Queen over the one in Virden.

We were in tonight at 6:45 - 7PM after a 14U soccer game. The place was packed and the driveup was about 5 to 9 cars deep at all times. These poor kids working were working just as fast as they could! One particular young man working the front register was very polite and good at his job and was very graceful under pressure. He got our order correct and it was out to us quickly. Unfortunately one man went to the front and screamed a few chice words at the teenagers who were doing their best. I want them to know to NOT let that individual make them feel as if they weren't doing their best. I wish I knew the young mans name who worked so hard and fast but I didn't catch it. He had dark hair and black glasses on. We appreciate how hard you worked and how great you kept it together even though things were chaotic. You did great!

Very good food and personable service most of the time. Everyone has an off day/night. Including hamburger staples like this fine establishment. 99.9% of the time you can't go wrong with the Auburn DQ!!!

Sat in the drive thru for 15 mins (the girl did apologize for the wait) but I get home to find they forgot my fries and a hair in my sandwich. I didn't even full unwrap my sandwich, just opened one side and it was literally sticking out.
