A friend turned me onto lehr's summer sausage probably 20 years ago, even though I lived 2 hours away I'd make a detour with a cooler full of ice packs once a year and stuff my deep freeze. 5 years ago I moved 9 hours away.. the agony.. however my loving wife found that they were now doing shipping and my Christmas present was a big ole box of sausage and snack sticks. Just ordered my yearly fix, to many coworkers delight since I haven't been sharing lately as I was hoarding the last few bits I had. My tradition of converting my coworkers from the store and mall bought sausage may not be as long as the Lehr family has been knocking it out of the park, but I'll keep going for as long as they keep turning out delicious smoked meat treats.

I ordered from Lehr’s for summer sausages around Christmas. After my order I literally got an email from the owner thanking me. The sausages showed and had a hand written thank you on my packing list. The Sweet and Spicy Summer sausage is the best summer sausage I have ever had!!! Between the customer service and that beyond excellent sausage I will continue to buy and tell people about this place! I ordered from Colorado and will continue to do so! Thank you Lehr’s!!!

Hands down the best summer sausage and smokies out there! If you like old fashioned cold smoked sausage, this is the place. We drive over 3 hours to bring our venison to them each year. Great customer service and consistent quality excellence! Never disappointed! I have 3 kids with food allergies and 1 with celiac disease and they are very helpful with what products contain different allergens. Each beef smokie package is marked with allergen information as well! Keep up the fine work Lehr’s Meat Market!!

My great grandma who is now passed away bought lehrs original summer sausage all my life, I grew up on this stuff and it’s one memory that I’ll never forget was to go to her house and she’d always have multiple sticks packed in the deep freeze, no other summer sausage brand will even come close to lehrs and I refuse to buy anything else but theirs. Y’all do great and keep up the good work guys! Moved to Lexington ky, and super glad that y’all do shipping because I’ve been craving for a long time now.

Worth the drive from anywhere. My husband drove 45 minutes and bought fillets, bacon, summer sausage & smokies. The nicest people. We were treated to the freshest meat. We were blown away. I have never seen ground beef was so red, and lean. It made an incredible hamburger. The fillets were incredible, we have tried meat from many butchers and this is hands down the best. Everything we got was unbelievable. Thank you Lehrs.

The beef sticks are to die for! Super tasty and not greasy. I love the Tex Mex ones. Wonderful flavor with a nice kick of Heat! I love the fact that they make Patriot boxes so I can send them to my loved ones who are serving this great country. Keep up the great work and I will be ordering more!

The summer sausage is so delicious it very quickly became the only sandwich we pack for hikes, long bike ride, or paddles. Best smokies ever. Love the Tex Mex and Habenero. I've always bought them at the Belleville flea market but being that it is closed due to COVID-19, I ordered online. I ordered 5 packs of smokies and two summer sausages. I was very pleased with the speed of delivery and quality of the products. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

Wow, ordered some Carolina Reaper smokies online. Loved the flavor and loved that it wasn’t mouth throbbingly hot either. So that’s an A on the product. But they went the extra mile and sent me some complimentary jalapeño cheddar venison smokies that were extremely flavorful as well, even left a little note on the packaging. Jeff, I appreciate the generosity. I will definitely be ordering more!

People joke about not wanting to see sausage made. Well, I've seen Lehr's summer sausage and smokies made and it's a beautiful thing! These meats are seasoned perfectly and were a staple of my school lunches 50 years ago, and I like them now more than ever. This is flat out the best sausage there is.

Since we travel so far to get the summer sausage, we keep trying new places closer to home. We keep coming back to Lehr's because they are the best by far. The variety is a great idea so that you can get the regular mild sausage (my favorite) or if you like some spicier sausage, you can get that also.

Lehr's is more than a meat market, it's like visiting family. Go there a few times and everyone knows what you like. The meat is always of great quality, and their brat creations are super tasty. It's hard to rely on much these days, but you can always rely on quality meat and a great experience when you visit Lehr's.

We take our deer here every year. Over an hour and half away but well worth the drive for their old fashion summer sausage!! Beef is great too. Grab some while you wait for your deer!!!
