It was good. But I don't get it there are signs on doors for mandatory face masks but there are always 2-4 people without any face masks. All the other Dollar Generals I have been in everyone has them on. Why do they get by with it. Pour management?

Some days are better than others. If the older women are working you get better communication. It the others are working there literally isn't a hello or anything. Especially from the younger gentleman that has rang me out a couple of times. I'll say hello....nothing. He'll scan my items and doesn't even verbally say my amount just stands there. I have worked at DG if you can't communicate with your customers and be friendly then retail isn't the job for you!

Dollar general in new Athens stays open till 10 pm Monday through Sunday and prices on somethings are cheeper than Marissa Dg and top it off with closing an hour early all week . So the price difference is probably due to 7 less hours in Marissa.

Very clean, well stocked!!! They had toilet paper!!!!! Yay!!! Lol. Anyway staff were very kind and acknowledged me as I entered the store and were speedy and courteous at checkout. Great store. First time there.

The manager never wears a mask. I guess her position of Dollar General store manager gives her more knowledge of s pandemic than the world's best Drs and scientists. I will not be back.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I'm a regular and staff was very helpful after a store remodeling even as a regular I do sometimes need assistance lol

Store is clean for the most part but store is little unorganized... Always boxes and stuff blocking isles and is really crammed in the isles. Not always a clerk up front or around that I have seen when there.

Some of the employees are rude I took a picture of evaporated milk on messenger and sent it to my father to make sure it was the right one and the same lady that's always rude said it was against company policy I looked it up and couldn't find anything about it I didn't like the way she treated me she treated me like I was a criminal

Store was a mess with boxes and stuff all in the middle of the walkways, and the bathroom was very dirty. The people working are very friendly .
