They have a large selection of stuff. Found some good chips. There is no garbage can in front of the building so people put garbage in carts. Staff was not very friendly and lots of horse poop in the parking lot

Very rude cashiers. Went in to get my daily stuff waited to be checked out. Cashier comes up no hi how are you nothing. Just ring in my stuff literally throws it in the bag and doesn't even tell me my total. I check out and leave no have a nice day thank you or nothing definitely not friendly just because u r having a bad day u shouldn't treat your customers like that. Definitely will drive elsewhere to get my belongings. Definitely not friendly..

Modern, clean store that is usually well-stocked. However, the store often does not have enough of cashiers and expect to wait for one to check you out. December 14, 2019: I’m sorry to have to lower my rating of the Arthur Dollar General store. It is very poorly managed. Aisles are difficult to navigate due to boxes of supplies that should be on the shelves. Management doesn’t seem to care a bit. I only shop here as a last resort.

One if the nicest dollar generals I've seen staff friendly and pleasure to be around store is clean. It shoes someone works hard and really cares .. to bad we couldn't talk them into giving manager a raise huh

It is great having a Dollar General in town, but the exterior with all the trash an cigarette butts, is totally disgusting! We take pride in our clean town, but this store is not clean. In shopping there this week I had to navigate 30 carts of merchandise, and the shelves are empty.

Last week I was there the employees were resetting end caps. The shelves were mostly empty and the stock was in the baskets and there was a truck waiting to be unloaded but he had to wait because the baskets were still full. Apparently management thinks end caps are more important than stocking shelves. It's clear that the employees are frustrated by hearing the complaints from customers but there are not enough people on the floor to get it done

I was out of formula and sent my husband to the Arthur Dollar General he got there at 9:45 p.m. and they had already locked the doors even though it clearly says they're open until 10 p.m. He knocked on the door, the worker sees him and turns around and walks the other way. If we had known they were going to lock there doors before closing, we could have went to sullivan or something but by this time it was too late. Something needs to be done about this Dollar General.

Literally the worst dollar general I've ever seen. Tons of unpacked carts. Tons of empty shelves. One shelf has boxes stacked up that they haven't unpacked for weeks! I even asked an employee when they were going to put out their fall decor and they laughed and said probably around Christmas time. Smh. Management is terrible. I will not being going back into this store!!!

15 yeàrs ago I was the store manager of the Arthur Dollar General, and my store never looked as bad as the store does now.Every aisle is filled with rolltainers, shipping boxes unopened are on the shelves. The Fire Marshal should shut this place down. Unbelievable that the District Manager allows this.

This is by far the worst store D.G hasTheir is nothing on shelves employes standing around not very helpfull if you have a question for them . I went today 1 / 4 / 2020 at 7:10 knocked on door no body around . Store was supposed to open at 7 :00 AM . Stay away from this store if you can . I will from now on go to the Attwood store . The heck with D.G in Arthur not worth my time .

Absolutely the worst DG I have ever been in. Tuscola use to be the worst. At least their old store was s excuse. To be truthful no Dollar general I've ever been is up to snuff. They are a 3 out of ten. But Arthur is the worst they never put their truck up the selves are bare. Every manger does the same thing sluffs off and doesn't get accurate inventory and the stock piles up and no one can put it up cause customers are coming in. They could sell three or four times more product if they organized but the lack of help and the workers attitudes makes it impossible. They are apathetic and depressed. Pitiful. You make money in spite of your ineptitude. Now when we need neighborhood stores the most you drop the ball.

I mean the store is fine. You guys just need more employees? I only find myself in this DG when I’m feeling patient or have time cause any time I go I gotta wait in line for like 20 minutes because there’s only one register open.

Have to wait to be checked out. Manager sits in office and doesn't help much. Store is a mess, shelves empty. Very sad how this once nice store has turned too.

Good customer service but there are unpacked boxes all over the store. Clearly they need extra help putting away stock or they are receiving it faster than they can put away.

Nothing is ever stocked. The isles are crammed full of things that should be on the shelves so you leave without finding what you need. You stand at the register waiting for someone to help you and when they finally do the are not very friendly. If we have a choice we sometimes drive 6 miles to the Atwood store to get what we need and I only live a few blocks from the arthur location

I pick up from chi around the corner so I Bob tail over for groceries in my semi they have a really good selection of frozen food and drinks people that work hear were friendly helpful and reasonably fast

My daughter was hired by the Arthur store after 2 weeks of no one returning her call on when she was to start, they finally tell her today there not hiring at the moment and the lady who hired her did not work there anymore!! That's a bunch of bullcrap!!

I always buy stuff here. It's right down the street from where I work, and they are always busy. People are always going in and out of here, so be prepared for high traffic. Prices are good, employees are always nice.
