Where do I start?! Dr. Heaver and the rest of the staff were Amazing! I took my poodle Mocha in when she got super sick and we didn’t know what was wrong. I really thought that we were going to lose her or we were going to have to put her down. The entire time dr. Heaver and staff kept us calm and told us not to think about that. I never once felt judged for not being able to hospitalize mocha due to financial reasons. They helped me so much and did what they could within my financial means. Long story short Mocha went in severely dehydrated, skinny, lethargic, throwing up, not wanting to eat and Dr Heaver didn’t give up on my baby girl. She was optimistic threw out the whole process even tho this was a challenging case. I know that my girl was in good hands the entire time. They gave both me and my family hope that my girl would make it out of this. She did after a few treatments and antibiotics Mocha was eating again, had more energy, was playing with our kids, just overall better! My baby girl is now better and back to her normal goofy self and I couldn’t express how greatful to have had the best vet techs and such a wonderful vet that truly cared and didn’t give up , even when we were starting to. So thank you 😊 💜 me and my family are forever greatful to still have our Mocha Latte ♥️

We went to get a 2nd opinion about my daughter’s dog. Our former vet said he’d put him down. His health started to improve. Dr Hever took us in right away and was so kind and so was Patty the manager. They gave Briggs TLC and knew their stuff! They did bloodwork, gave him a fluid iv and were gentle w/our little guy and very professional. We got a call promptly the next day after bloodwork was completed and a plan to go forward w/treatment. I cannot say enough good things about their wonderful compassion, professionalism and great experience we had and are continuing to have!

Over vaccination can cause a variety of health issues. This vet pushes unnecessary vaccines and doesn’t offer titer testing to check the antibodies in the blood first. Cares more about money than your pet!

The team here is amazing. My Roscoe is an aggressive pit bull and they are patient and loving with him; not once have they mistreated him (unlike other places). They work to accommodate him and are extremely patient with us. Truly amazing, very happy with all of my experiences here. Kelly really knocks it out of the park here! Dr. Woodaid, Ashley, Kendall, McKayla and Vicky are the A team! 💪🏼

Dr. Kahn and staff are terrific! Facility is modern and clean. Quick scheduling system and it is easy to get in touch with staff if need arises. I stopped going to this location only because a new location opened closer to my home (and I’m extremely happy with Orlando’s location also). I do miss Ashley, one of the tech supports who goes above and beyond to provide excellent care! She’s the BEST!

Finally found a local and affordable vet. Everyone who works there is very polite. I did catch a small mistake after checkout but they got that fixed right away. Very appreciative for taking care of my pup! I Definitely recommend coming here.

Our sr. Rottweiler receives the best tender care from all the staff, as well as our newest addition 12 week old lab. The entire staff is friendly, caring, and thorough. I couldnt be happier with the care for our four legged family❤

We have had positive experiences with Thrive. There is one staff that is so friendly to us all the time. We absolutely love her and how she is with our pup who is a very shy/timid boy. The other lady that checks us out always acts like she doesn’t want to interact. Very short verbally and not personable at all. 9/10 would recommend

LOVE this place. I’ve had so many bad experiences with previous vets but this one made me so relieved. I brought my kitty in yesterday for the first time and they were so gentle and loving with him. All of the employees here are AMAZING and genuinely care about you and your concerns for your pet. It’s a bit of a drive for me but I am perfectly fine with it because of how they care for my kitties. I will definitely be a forever client!

Never bring your pet here if you care about them. They pretty much killed my dog by doing absolutely nothing for him, while charging me $300. Vet must have gotten his degree from a mail order catalog. I called to complain about the terrible care my dog received and demanded a refund. The doctor called me to apologize for being terrible at his job and said they couldn't do anything about a refund, but that someone from corporate would call. They never did. And my dog is dead.

I’m so glad I found Thrive Pet Care in Arlington Heights. They have a wonderful staff that is very friendly and knowledgeable. They truly care about the pets they see, and they are transparent about the costs; giving low, medium and high options to review before moving forward with any treatments. I highly recommend this veterinary practice.

Even though affordable is in the name, they could not give me a ballpark for a simple procedure on the phone. I'm looking to get my healthy 4 month old cat spayed and all they could say was she needs an exam and then they could go over the fees. I prefer transparency of at least a ballpark range for simple procedures like that. Guess I'll look elsewhere.Update 1: Nice canned reply. Very robotic. Why is it that every other vet I called can give me their fee schedule over the phone? That seems standard and you guys are the outlier here. Sure $49 for an exam is a deal, but how much is everything after that?? Dropped rating from 3 to 2 stars.

So happy I found this place! Every single member of their staff is so kind and helpful. They are very transparent about pricing. And they give you options with their services so you can stay within budget. My dog received surgery from Dr. Kahn. Not only was the surgery a success but I appreciated how Vicki kept in touch to make sure he was ok post op. I always get the feeling that everyone here truly cares about the wellbeing of my pets.

I have taken both of my Dachshunds here for 6 months now. What I appreciate about the location is it’s close proximity to home, fresh, simple and pet friendly layout. What I appreciate about the staff is they are professional while thoughtful and friendly. They keep the place clean and well maintained. What I appreciate about the business is how they use technology but are willing to still manage with human interaction. I can see my appointments online and can book them that way but they are happy to manage it over the phone without pushing me one way. I like when I check in for an appointment they already remember some things so I’m not entering the entire e-form like I am a new customer.Getting more of that technology personalization will continue to make this business better. The other tech wish I would have next is knowing what phone numbers they call from. I’ve learned it over time so it’s fine. With so many spam calls today there is an obvious reluctance to answer every call and anything to reduce that mystery will just make it better for other customers.

Stumbled upon this vet searching for a last minute appointment for my cat since my regular vet couldn’t take him.. They were very thorough with their exam and sending me home with good at home care instructions! Everyone was super sweet and made my super anxious kitty feel very comfortable and welcome. Then the prices were unbeatable I’ve always stuck with my old vet due to being good and affordable but Thrives prices can’t be beat! We will be moving all of our furbabies to Thrive!

We had a great experience. Friendly, professional, clean and affordable! We couldn’t be more satisfied with the care our sweet bubbles received here.My cat has had reoccurring ear infections in her ear since birth (two years). My regular vet sent me to a specialist to have it looked at; we found out that she has an inflammatory polyp in her ear. She needs surgery to remove the polyp. The specialist office quoted $ 5,500 to $ 6,500. That cost seemed very exorbitant to me, so I went in search of a second opinion that might have a slightly more affordable option for surgery. In comes the wonderful staff at Thrive clinic. They were friendly, helpful and offered their suggestions at our appointment. Note that the exam was only around $50, whereas the specialist was $ 270!! We ended up finding out that the surgery is too complex due to the location of the mass, and they are unable to do it. However, it was vital for me to have more information and another opinion on her. We continue to search for an affordable rate on the surgery, but will be bringing our cats back here if needed.

6/15/2023: We just had an annual check-up at Thrive Pet Healthcare at the Arlington Heights location and had an amazing experience! Patty and Dr. Gusek helped us this time around and she was absolutely WONDERFUL. I can't recommend this place enough, they really do care about your pets and do not force any procedures/medicines or extra treatments your pet does not need! Thank you so much Dr. Gusek and Patty!-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I initially was very nervous to come here after having multiple bad experiences at various vets in the area. My dog and I had the BEST experience here and we have officially found our permanent vet office! Vicki, Ashley, and Dr. Kahn were so kind to my dog and I from the moment we walked in. The place itself was so clean! I also felt like Dr. Kahn and Ashley gave straightforward advice and really wanted the best for my dog and I. Most times I leave the vet feeling like some of the services were a money-grab, but they were so transparent and explained everything as well as telling me the pries before completing the service. I could not recommend them enough! :)

Everyone here is so nice! My dog is hardly ever nervous. They give her lots of love and cuddles. Dr Khan answered my questions and taught me somethings! Ashley whom I assume is a vet tech has always been the friendliest! I drive 40mins to get here,worth the drive!

I brought both my dogs here, my rescue for a spay and my full breed Dalmatian for an annual examine and shots. This has to be the BEST experience I have had thus far with my girls. They explained everything to you, they have affordable packages, they have a membership program where your pets examines are free when you are a member, and they even reached out to a pet nutritional specialists to check breed information regarding my Dal. You really can't ask for more! Super happy and greatful to have found Thrive!

If I could give this facility 10 stars i would! I want to shout-out Kendall who was outstanding. Her greeting, enthusiasm, positive attitude and willingness to answer all questions and listen to my concerns was outstanding customer service. I received pictures as promised and it helped so much being in communication the entire time. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING SUCH AMAZING CARE OF MONROE! Dr. Kahn was wonderful as well! I’ve been looking for a new vet for my puppy and I am so happy that I found thrive! I felt like I was at a car dealership with my previous vet (always trying to sell me unnecessary products/services) and let me tell you what a world of a difference it is at thrive. Vet and staff were very informative and extremely attentive to my puppy. After our initial visit I signed up to become a thrive member. Amazing prices and great facility, this place surpasses all my expectations!
