This review is for the grooming department. Don't expect them to be kind people or understanding in any way.I booked a 10 am appointment and accidentally went to the wrong store (there are two stores in Arlington Heights btw). I called ahead and the associate told me this wasn't a problem and to just get there as soon as I could. When I got there, it was 10:30 and there were two groomers and one dog being worked on. The groomer told me I had to reschedule because I was late. This is a 3.5 hour appointment for a bath/brush and nail trim, and I'm pretty certain that they don't work on your dog during that entire 3.5 hour appointment. It was just ridiculous to be so inflexible for an appointment that already has plenty of flexibility baked into it. They clearly had bandwidth to still take my dog and just chose not to because she didn't feel like it. I understand I was late, and that is on me, but I hoped to get at least an ounce of understanding..some kind of compromise on the service (like maybe no bath but we can do a nail and paw trim). None of that was offered, and the groomer was really rude. I will not be returning to this location again.

My 5 month Goldendoodle had her first full grooming session today by Kim! I highly recommend her. I was nervous about bringing my puppy for her first grooming session, but with Kim's patience and explanation, I knew my puppy would be in good hands. Kim even did a test strand with the clippers to ensure I liked the length. She is very thorough and was so kind to my puppy.

This place is simply incredible. The staff are soooooo friendly and helpful and they have everything... and I mean everything. We are also trying to "modernize" at little bit and their current selection really helps with it as well. We shall return!

Anything you need for your pet you can find inside, they have also a grooming place inside the store and the staff are willing to help with any question you have.Prices are good and not expensive.They also have membership options and that’s how I become a regular.

This review is solely based on the groomers. The rest of the store is fine. Just a normal pet store.The groomers however are some of the worst I've ever had. I have a 7 year old golden retriever who I took there to get groomed and it was just one of the worst jobs I've ever seen. She was still decently wet. Her nails weren't cut. Her paw pads weren't trimmed. It didn't even look like she was brushed. Yes, I verified that it was what I paid for before I dropped her off.It was so bad that I made them redo it, and it still looked like next to nothing was done over 2 hours later.Not to mention, it was well north of $100. I took her to someone else and for less than $50, it looked absolutely phenomenal.AVOID GROOMERS AT ALL COSTS

The service was awesome, as soon as you entered, asking if I needed assistance finding my items and "YES" I did need help and they were terrific! I went to the larger pet stores in AH first and couldn't find what I was looking for or anyone to help me. Great staff at PSPBG!

The store itself is fine, but the groomers are so bad that it brings it down to a 1. It's clear they have no experience yet the cost is well north of $100 before tip.

Would not recommend this location for the self dog wash station. Went in last Friday to use one of five washes I had on their discount dog wash punch card and was limited to two really smelly, hairy towels after being told that their dryer was broken. The dryer at the stations were not working that afternoon either so I had to take my dog home in 30 degree weather still soaking wet. The shampoo/conditioners they provide are also watered down - will not be revisiting to use the service at this location.

Great Pet Clinic on Saturday morning, (inside the store) no need appointment only virtual line, ahead it's fast to sign in. We got the package of $105 for 2 vaccine plus the annual rabbie shot & including blood work. My dog was well behaved with the staff, but forgot to take a bag (incase she did the bathroom). They say there ain't any veggies for 🐕 dog, well my dog is 9 years old & doesn't have the same energy as before. Thanks to this she likes it & looks better, plus it has all this meat & veggie mix.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR GROOMING SERVICES ONLY: First and last time coming here. Very disappointing experience. I initially went to the wrong store, which was totally my mistake. I own that. I immediately called the right store and explained what happened and asked if it would be OK if I still came in a few minutes late. The girl who answered was very short and seemingly irritated. I try to be of the mindset that everybody is just doing the best they can, and to allow a little grace for others. Seeing as she refused to acknowledge my apology, there didn’t seem to be much grace or kindness there.I arrived to the store and again apologized. And again, no acknowledgment of my apology - it was as though I didn’t even speak. Customer service toward me aside, they didn’t acknowledge my dog or show any sense of warmth or kindness toward her either. Usually groomers who don’t like people, at least love dogs. I didn’t get the sense from this place that they liked people or dogs.When I picked my pup up, she didn’t even look like she’d been groomed. It looked like they gave her a bath and called it a day. She still had hair falling into her eyes and her coat was as long as it was when I dropped her off. I usually space her groomings out about 8 weeks, but I’m going to have to get her groomed again in a couple of weeks. $75 down the drain.

Took my new puppy in for grooming service and Monica there did a wonderful job. I'm so thankful for her extra effort in accommodating my urgent request for appointment. The assistant manager, Melissa, was there to help with the grooming and she was fantastic. I'm definitely coming back in the future for my pet's supply and grooming needs!

Well stocked and great staff. The sales are awesome and the staff went out of their way to help me with an online order while I was out of town. I ended up returning it because my kitten got diagnosed with a protein allergy and the process went smoothly. Grateful to have this store nearby!

I had a really great experience at this store today. I came in with a concern about a betta fish that wasn't eating. I was greeted quickly upon entering the store. When I expressed my concern, the employee called for assistance stating that they knew somebody else in the store had more expertise than they did; I appreciated that. Mary arrived and quickly identified a variety of potential issues and offered solutions. I left feeling grateful for the extensive assistance and hopeful that the solutions would help.

The older gentleman is very helpful and friendly. Thank you for your help with our puppy. They have a few organic non gmo choices without preservatives and chemicals for our fur babies. Do not feed your babies the cheap junk. Save your pet suffering and yourself high vet bills. What we and our pets eat has everything to do with how we feel.

Especially Mary! Super helpful, very knowledgeable and just great at her job. Helped us pick out a reptile, find the habitat and everything we needed. Amazing staff.

Great service. Great people.. I was very well attended. They had a great selection on fish. Big Variety. Very clean tanks and well decorated. Hit a little snag at the end with pricing but I loved how they worked as a team and handled it as quickly as possible. You can tell right from walking in through the door that these people really care.
