Under new management, this Dollar General is clean and has a knowledgeable/polite staff. Definitely worth a stop if you are looking for a bargain.

I'm rating this store on products, cost, friendliness, and cleanliness. It may not have been a busy experience but the store was clean and the employees were friendly. Maybe it's a mid-west thing and, I like it. Dollar General would be like a smaller version of Big Lots. I thought the prices were great and like a Big Lots, the products were varied. My experience was actually delightful due to the person checking me out.

Broikelynn the cashier/ key holder was very friendly and had a great demeanor. I did not see anyone else in the store with her employee wise. The office door was open even.

It's always crowded with unpacked boxes lining just about every aisle. You have to literally push pallets to get what you need. Yes, severely under staffed and they are patient with customers.

They need almost all new employees. I just read over 5 stories on Facebook that were awful. The lines are always horrible and most of the time the lead people are outside smoking

The Arcola store is getting better you can at least walk down the Iles isles walking down the aisles but need a lot more work like stocking the shelves.they do have a better staff but they need to all get on the same page.

The staff is very friendly. It's way too cluttered in the store and difficult to navigate. I avoid this location for other more clean and open Dollar General stores.

Store was full of merchandise in boxes to be put out. Aisles very small. Store not the cleanest. Staff was busy but very helpful and busy! Would guess store is under staffed.

The store is finally getting cleaned up and back together after the manager took leave the store went to heck but now it seems to have turned around male working was very friendly and nice however the hard Rock music playing at the checkout very loud was detouring

Went there to buy food containers and some snacks for a long train ride. Got everything I needed for a good price. Staff was friendly, if not overworked.

Usually has what you need but frequently out of what you want. Usually only has one lane running even during massive rushes. The old IBM computers they use crash and fail a lot, and don't use your card if you don't want your data stolen

It's not this places fault. Dollar General has gone woke and cancelled My Pillow by Mile Lindel. So, because of this fact I no longer will shop at another Dollar General ever. Go woke go broke.

As far as stock and availability there is nothing wrong with the store. The problem occurs with the poor poor management, dirty store, and the poor staff.

Service was terrible. I waited in line for 20 minutes to get checked out. They only had 1 cashier checking people out. The other one was on the phone the whole time.

Merchandise all over that needs organized or put away. Never enough cashiers.
