I've had the pleasure of getting to photograph the wedding at this venue. This place seems to have so much character to it and the ideal setting for an outdoor barn type wedding. Your guests will definitely get a kick of this farms surroundings. Including the donkeys, LOL!

What an INCREDIBLE experience!!! The the owner welcomed us personally the day-of, the staff were SO organized and kind, and the venue speaks for itself! It was EVERYTHING we dreamt of for our wedding day and more. Plus, the donkeys were a huge hit. 😉 (Also, we accidentally signed our marriage license in the wrong spot… Oops! But the staff caught it and helped us make the correction. What other venue would do that??) Very much a delayed review but we got married almost 1 year ago at Oak Hill and Becky and her team exceeded all of our expectations in every way possible. We are originally from the Chicago land area and planning a a soft destination wedding 2 hours away was very nerve-wrecking for me due to being such an A-type planner. Becky and her team laid out vendor lists, dimensions, coordinated with vendors, and even allowed me to hand them a 26 page decor binder with detailed instructions on how to develop my vision for me day and they ROCKED it. I still get compliments on our wedding day! Thank you for everything you did for us to make our day magical!!

I'm a wedding photographer and I have shot 3 weddings at Oak Hill Farm. Most recently on 5/28/23 which are the photos below.Firstly, it's just a charming place. Endless photo opportunities due to the sprawling fields and woods and multiple ceremony locations. There are also plenty of rain plan options--move under the thick pines, into the chapel or into the pavilion. The pavilion they recently put in (haven't shot there in a few years, so it's new to me) has great natural light and reflects on faces/people well. You can have a rustic wedding here with or without the typical barn vibes which I love as there are plenty of red barn buildings but also plenty of white/boho elements if you're more on the modern edge of aesthetics.Secondly, the owners are incredibly kind and the staff they hire from bartenders to coordinators are all professional.Thirdly, perks. They have animals that you can take photos with and are a fun diversion for guests, particularly young ones. As big as the venue is, unless you're mobility is already compromised, there is no trouble getting around. No steep hills, no hikes, only a few stairs to one ceremony spot. So many big venues are hard to navigate but the paths here are well kept and the walks to different locations are maximum 2 min, if walking slowly. I appreciate that they have an area for both partners to get ready, not just one. They also have props such as a vintage airstream and rug you can rent for photo ops for you and your guests.Lastly, from a photographer perspective, this place has a great sunset view--no telephone lines, buildings or obstructions for west facing photos which cannot be said of many wedding venues. A huge plus!To make a crazy long review short, if you want a natural, outdoorsy feeling wedding, Oak Hill Farm is a lovely option. The only downside I can imagine to this place is it is in the middle of "nowhere" BUT they have shuttles to pick up and return guests and isolation is simply price you pay for a venue like this that is so unspoiled and natural. Words cannot convey how perfect our wedding day was at Oak Hill Farm. Your venue made us feel as though we were in a fairytale, complete with horse and carriage. From the gorgeous chapel, to the rolling countryside views, to the schoolhouse and country store, to your spectacular new Pavilion, Oak Hill Farm is just simply perfection. Your staff was so friendly and cared so much about every single detail (Morgan was a delight). Although we were married in the absolutely stunning chapel, there are at least four other beautiful outdoor venues on the property. The list of extra décor items is endless (and much of it is complimentary). The barn where the bride gets ready is simply beautiful and perfect for photos. Every time I would contact Becky with a question, she would get back to me immediately. Her organization was impeccable. Our guests have all said that it was the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever seen. Every single aspect of Oak Hill Farm deserves a standing ovation, and we thank you, Becky, from the bottom of our hearts for a day we will never forget. Dreams really do come true at Oak Hill Farm.

Utterly beautiful location with so many spots to hold a simple wedding ceremony. The grounds were well kept. They even had donkeys you could pet if you wanted. Everything is so picturesque that I truly wish I had taken better advantage of. If you're planning a wedding, I'd definitely recommend this place.

I had the opportunity to photograph here a few years ago and it's still one of my favorite venues I've ever worked at! I love how many different spots they have and the homey feel the whole place gives off! It's truly so so stunning!

We had our wedding venue this past weekend at Oak Hill and it was absolutely AMAZING! Becky and her team did a fantastic job making sure everything was exactly what we envisioned and more! The venue itself it stunning and left our guests talking about how it was the most beautiful venue they have ever been too. I cant say enough good things about this venue, we wanted something country and outdoor and it checked every box. If I could get married there every year, I would! :) Thank you again to Becky and her team for making our day special and a day we will forever remember. We will forever cherish our memories at Oak Hill and Can't wait to come back for our anniversary to take some pictures!

Where do I even begin!? We got married at Oak Hill on 9/4/21 and it was everything I've ever wanted for my wedding and more. The venue is SO dreamy, with multiple stunning locations to take pictures at. We are still getting tons of compliments from our guests about how amazing our wedding and venue was, with many saying it's the best wedding they've ever been to! The pavilion itself looks like it's straight out of a Pinterest board. Becky was amazing to work with and always made sure to answer my (many) questions as fast as she could. She set us up for success as soon as we signed our contract and gave us all the information we needed to plan. Oak Hill is truly a hidden gem here in Illinois and I am so happy we got married here. Thank you Becky + staff for everything!!

I had the please to DJ a wedding at this wonderful venue this last weekend (Oct. 17, 2021) and this place is amazing! The venue is just so beautiful and the staff are amazing to work with! If your looking for a place to have an outdoor wedding and a reception, you need to book Oak Hill Farms! You will not regret it!

Oak Hill Farm is absolutely dreamy!! As a wedding videographer, I truly loved being able to film at this venue as everything happens at the same place! There is rolling hills, a river, pond, and incredible space for your guests to enjoy the day! The white barn is a perfect clean slate for any color pallet and has a great view of the pasture! Highly recommend this place to host your wedding!

There aren't enough words to express my gratitude for everything Oak Hill Farm did to make my wedding dream come true, even more beautiful than I could have imagined. From the beginning, Becky is super responsive and her organization and attention to detail made it easy to trust that her and her team would carry out everything I planned for our big day. Don't even get me started on the spreadsheets that they have every bride fill out. They were so detailed, thorough, and helpful. As a Type A bride, it just made planning out the details for such a large venue clear and easy. I even sent Becky my own spreadsheets and pdfs! They take the time to go through all the details and execute it perfectly. The day of Morgan and Sydney went above and beyond. They have a phone number you can text or call throughout the day for anything. They were quick to respond and attend to any little thing I asked for. Even when I didn't message them, they were attentive and made my husband and I feel taken care of. They worked so well with all of our vendors. We had some issues with our caterer unfortunately but they were quick to step in and help speed things along. I was worrying about so many little details that day and problems that would come up but they helped lessen that burden tremendously. Everyone at OHF truly made my Pinterest board come to life. Everything I envisioned, from the smallest detail was carried out beautifully.  The venue itself is magical and inviting. We're from Chicago so our guests loved that there was so much to see and how earthy, charming, and rustic the venue is. There are endless picture opportunities for your photographer here. Take advantage! All in all, although it can be on the pricier end depending on how many items and services you add on to your invoice, but it is worth every penny. They are the friendliest people and just over the top service. We had a great experience and highly recommend having your wedding at OHF.!

We got married at Oak Hill Farm last month & it was absolutely amazing. The venue itself is breathtaking… our wedding felt like a fairytale. Becky & her team were so helpful, kind & accommodating. They helped us plan the wedding of my dreams in only 3 weeks… Becky keeps you very organized throughout the process with worksheets & google docs. She also gives you a great list of vendor recommendations that we loved! Becky was so responsive & went out of her way many times to help us make sure the big day went smooth. Oak Hill is so detail oriented & they have tons of rentals & decor for you to choose from... so easy! Many of our guests said it was the best wedding & venue they had ever been to. I can’t say enough great things… Thank you Oak Hill, for giving us the best day of our lives!!!

My husband and I got married at Oak Hill in August and everything was absolutely perfect. Becky and her team were fantastic and every single detail was carefully thought in advance and executed. The whole day went even more perfectly that I could have ever imagined. The entire property was manicured and everything was above and beyond expectations. My dress even broke right before the ceremony and Becky brought out a sewing kit to help put it back together. Thank you so much!

Oak Hill is beautiful BUT it is so hard to get to it. There are pretty much no signs and if you stop and ask directions no one knows where it is. It's not on GPS either. You end up going down an alley in the town of Warren to get to it. Again it's not marked. Wish they would put a proper sign at least in Warren so out of town people can find it and maybe one where you turn from Stockton to the road leading to Warren. I can't stress enough there are no signs and it's like a wild goose chase getting there. Not fun. The tent was pretty but the guests sitting on the west side of it we're sweating and hot because the sun was baking everyone on that side. I would suggest a working sunscreen of some kind or filter for the guests on that side.

The property is beautiful. The bridal house to get ready is peaceful, big and clean. The groom quarters is nice. The Owen is very sweet and super helpful. They make sure everything is perfect for the big day. It was a great experience.

had my daughters wedding there and they forgot the part where the father of the bride gives her away , the manager blamed the owner and the owner blamed the manager, she was my only daughter .Also the flies were unbearable.The actual venue was nice and my daughter loved it , so I guess that's all that matters

The Oak Hill staff and Becky are so fantastic! They catered to all of our requests for our wedding. They even sent a staff member to the store to purchase some we forgot to bring the day of our wedding. During our wedding day, everything went so smooth and the staff did such a fantastic job setting things up, cleaning things up and creating an overall great experience for me and my wife and all of our guests.
