What a gem of a store! Nestled in between the dollar store and Asian harbor is the most well executed amphibian/reptile focused pet shop. But it was so much more than this. They also had a great selection of fish, spiders, some exotic birds, and other small animals. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and kind, guiding my uninformed journey into frog care. Coming from a fish background it helped me to determine what will be needed for future frog care.

Bought three froglets of fine spot dendrobates leucomelas from here. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff, and I could tell they care a lot that their animals are going to a fully prepared keeper. Attached are photos of two of the froglets in their new bio active enclosure at my place.

Audi and Lydia are some of the nicest and most knowledgeable people I've ever met. I came in just browsing and was shown the crested geckos. I was not a lizard person walking into this store until I spoke with Audi and she introduced me to my new crested gecko Ziggy. My wife and I loved him from our first interaction, we came back shortly after this. We researched and studied alot before making the decision, though the information the staff provided me was so much more helpful than Google was. I'd highly recommend this place for all your animal needs. Thanks again!

All though this place is friendly, and has a lot to look at. The smell is very overpowering! It hits you like bricks when you first open the door. It is an extreme ammonia smell. I have a hard time staying too long, without getting a bad headache. Think they might need more staff cleaning cages, or maybe cats are spraying everywhere. I'm not sure what is causing it?!? Also I don't expect a pet shop to smell perfect. I would compare it to visiting the zoo. But this is something much more. Hope it is safe for staff. I will still use them to get crickets, but I don't suggest staying inside long. It's too bad because it could be an amazing place.

Visited toadally frogs for the first time today and really enjoyed my visit. Lots of frogs which is why I went. Lots of feeders which I never have enough of.I plan on going back even though I live in Milwaukee Wisconsin which is an hour away. I bought two frogs today and hope to buy more. Keep up the good work. Thank you for a pleasant visit.

A nice selection of animals and other items. The only downside is, they never have any good cultures of fruit flies. But the staff has always been nice.

I talked with two of the people there and they told me how to fix my snakes habitat and make it more suitable for him. I had been misguided on how to take care of my snake and they pushed me in the right directing. Currently finding a better place for him to stay and keeping up on my misting!

Toadally Frogs is an excellent pet store beyond reptiles/amphibians. The owners and other ladies that work there are extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. I come here a couple times a week — whether it’s to buy feeders for my snakes or to just say hey. There is always something new to see! And Crikey the kookaburra is always good for a laugh or two. Overall it’s a great store and I love to be able to support local as well.

I would've given you guys A 5 star review Dan is honestly an amazing worker and takes care of my lizards and any questions I have I answer them right way I think her name was Christine. She has glasses she's blond and she's short. She was very rude and any questions I asked she said. Oh you don't know anything about your lizard. Best pet store around. I have gotten a few of my reptiles from the shop now. All their reptiles are very healthy and happy. The selection is amazing. The staff is very helpful, nice and quick to answer all your questions as best as they can!

Love coming to this place! Pet stores are always my jam, and this place always brightens up my day when I go. I don't know what people are saying about the smell, it's a pet store. Pets live here? It's hella clean for any pet store I've been to.Regardless, I love hearing the frogs sing and being able to feed Crikey their kookaburra! The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.

Kris at Toadally Frogs was absolutely FANTASTIC! I came in as soon as they opened and I was immediately helped by Kris. She showed me around the entire store and I was just blown away by how clean everything was and how much inventory they had. I mentioned I was shopping for a couple of dart frogs, and I ended up leaving with 6! 😆 I own a reptile company myself, and let me just say that you guys are rocking it. Great job everybody!

It's pretty late for me to ad this, but I went to this place recently a few weeks ago with my little brother via bicycle, the atmosphere is calm and the pets they have to offer are great, I got to see rats, snakes and even frogs (we could say it toadally wasn't just frogs there) but yeah, cool place

10/10 love my internship here that is paid by the state. I have never enjoyed a job in internship more than this one and is helping me for one day I will be a zookeeper. When the job money is able to be paid more to be able to hire I will apply. If I could I would work all day here but the owner says there is a shortage in money to pay workers or something. I love talking to other animal lovers too while working and share and learn new facts. I will also be taking the new toucan stuffed animal home with me in February when I get my next disability check. Also ignore the two star reviews they are all very nice but sometimes you cannot be nice when you are busy and stressed. It’s not because they don’t want to work with you, it’s just because Chris / Khris / Christine is doing everything by herself and you can tell by spending time with her she is very caring, smart, and tries her very best. And it’s not their fault that they can’t hire but people they are allowed to volunteer because it’s free. But whenever they are able to open jobs I would like more experience with exotic animals because I want to be a zookeeper. I will be the first to apply I will scidaddle there like it’s Black Friday at a Walmart and there is flat screen TVs for half off. Also you can’t put leopard geckos with snakes and this is a really good place because they won’t let you put leopard gecko with their snakes.

I called looking a specific lizard, the woman who answered was very polite and professional, upon going into the store it was very clean and interesting enough that although I knew exactly what I wanted I stayed and just looked around for probably a half hour. Very fair prices.5/5Google is asking me to update this review. My opinion hasn't changed. I've only been there once since my last review because it's an hour drive.They've got cool animals, are personable/professional, are clean, etc. It was worth the trip.I got a couple toads and adopted the sweetest 3 legged bearded dragon.

We bought an Amazon Milk Frog in January and loved our experience; I’m not sure why it’s taken so long to write a review! The staff was so helpful and guided us in choosing an animal we could properly care for. This was our first frog, and Tido is still doing very well! Based on other pet stores we’ve visited since then, I can tell Toadally Frogs really cares for the animals and provides high quality food and materials for them. The staff was very knowledgeable and made sure we had a really good idea on how to care for Tido before we left. They looked at pictures of our enclosure to make sure it was well suited for the type of frog we were getting. We did not feel pressured into buying anything or that we were being upsold in any way. I wish it wasn’t over an hour from us or we would drop in to buy the gut-loaded crickets often. We’re debating getting a second frog, and will definitely make the drive to Toadally Frogs if we do!Edited to add: as we were there in January, it was obviously quite cold. The staff provided us with a styrofoam cooler/container that they receive shipments in to keep our frog protected from the cold since we had a short walk to our car and a long drive home.

Please DO NOT go in this store before making sure to FULLY do your own research and have a general idea on what your pet needs beforehand!!! My mom and I went in about a month ago looking for things for my sick leopard gecko and at first we just wanted to see what we could get for a good deal because we were ORIGINALLY going to order from Amazon. One of the workers named Dan comes up and asks us for help and we tell him about my leopard gecko. Everything goes fine up until he recommends us this mercury vapor powersun bulb which he tells us can put out UVB, UVA, and supply heat all for $100. At the time my mom and I thought it was a good deal since it did a lot of things so we bought it. About a month later the bulb goes out and we go to talk to the guy we spoke to before about it because we were unable to find the receipt at the time. He then switched up and said that the bulb was too hot and my leopard gecko didn’t need all that and in return gave us a cheap $12 bulb and claimed “he felt really bad about it”. Yet he wasn’t willing to give us a replacement or store credit at least after almost spending $400 (including the bulb) at that store... After finding the receipt turns out we’re unable to get our money back after 7 days and if we want a replacement we have to contact the manufacturer. Even if we do get a replacement we can’t do anything with it because it’s not meant for a leopard gecko so basically $100 down the drain. Therefore, before spending a lot of your money here PLEASE do your research instead of trusting the workers to know what they’re talking about.

Went here to get a White's Tree frog and supplies. Very friendly and helpful staff that don't hesitate to thoroughly explain or talk about anything you need help with. Frogs are very healthy and happy, decently priced too.The pictures are of the frog I got from them. His name is bean :)

We. Love. This. Store. We stop in every Sunday to get our crickets and we’ve gotten to know Dan, aka “Dan the Man” as we call him. He’s extremely helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and personable. He lets my sons pet and hold snakes. The store overall is super cool. The entire staff cares for the animals and know what they’re talking about. They take in rescues and even board reptiles if you go on a vacation and need someone to watch your critters. It’s a hidden gem in Antioch.
