Recently started the carnivore diet and stopped in to see what they were all about. Staff was very friendly and it almost felt like home in there. All sorts of different meat choices for both humans and animals! We will be back :)

We just had one of the tomahawk steaks.WOW. Really really excellent. I can’t wait to have one of the thick porterhouse steaks we bought. I’m impressed!!

Some the best Grass fed beef steaks I’ve had lately. Got there just before close and staff was all very welcoming and friendly.10/10 would recommend to friends and family.

Been meaning to check this place out since it opened, got caught in the post-work traffic heading west on 173 tonight, so we stopped in. It's a cool store, but I only give it 4 stars because I wasn't overwhelmed by new unique products. They had a good amount of exotic meats, which I bought eagerly (never thought camel would taste that good) but I didn't expect to see quite so many items that are readily available at big brand stores, often for less money. Still definitely worth the visit, I want to emphasize this.

Such great meat options. The bison ribeye is my personal favorite. It's hard to eat chicken from any other store once you've had chicken from here! It's so tender, juicy and delicious. Friendly staff with great grilling recommendations. It's so nice to come in and get such quality choices, at great prices, without fighting the crowds of a large grocery store.

I love this place! They always have a great selection of fresh cut and ground meats. As well as a large variety for someone looking to try something different. But my absolute favorite item is the jalapeño potato salad. IT IS SIMPLY TASTY! I've tried to duplicate the recipe at home, but I just can't make it the way they do. I would highly recommend this shop to everyone!

This store is small but absolutely fantastic. If you want high quality foods from jams jelly to wild caught salmon and walleye to grass fed organic beef bison chicken pheasant this little gem is fir you. It is a foodie dream when you look around and see the quality of foods. The staff is fantastic friendly helpful knows their products. I'm very happy with what I was able to find and the bison new york strip steaks will be grilled tonight

Great selection of rate meats. We took a drive to get here and it was worth it. One of the only places we could find rare meats; kangaroo, elk, etc. They were excellent cuts and delicious on the grill with a bit of salt/pepper.

Went here to pick up some pre-ordered ostrich meat. What a wonderful surprise when I walked in. They are packed inside with specialty foods, a deli, fresh vegetables and a wide selection of wild meats and fish. Elk, bison, venison, alligator, ostrich, salmon and probably lots more I can't recall. Worth the trip to Antioch IL

This is a wonderful grocery store with a full deli. They will heat up your food and there is a perfect book to enjoy you meal and coffee. It is a nice place to bring the kids on a kid date while you do your shopping. Excellent selection of cheeses. So many organic choices and you can definitely find in store deals. Handmade pastas, gluten free, Ezekiel bread, the list goes on. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The smoked salmon is off the charts! Lots of teas and different condiments I was hard pressed to find I found here. I didn't know it was a full grocery store for the longest time. You will not be disappointed. I usually hit it up on the way home to Antioch since it's right there on 173

What a gem of a small store. So many unusual meats - kangaroo, boar, elk, venison, bison, ostrich, etc. I picked up a selection of elk sausage, a bison chuck steak, some kangaroo burger patties, a kringle, some beets and potatoes. The staff here is super friendly and obviously excited about showing you what they have.

Great selection of wild game. But will not be returning due to very rude staff. Second time shopping there now where they close the deli at least 30 minutes before they close and refuse to serve you the deli meats because it's already "sanitized ". When I mentioned they don't close for another 30 minutes she got snappy and unprofessional with me. Told her I would not be returning. She could care less, so I left my basket of groceries and walked out. Unfortunate.

We stopped in here to check for Buffalo and bison. We bought 1 slice of Buffalo meat loaf, 1 Buffalo rib eye steak and a egg plant pizza I didn't care for the meat loaf but my wife and granddaughter liked it. The pizza was OK but We over cooked it and the crust was hard.We haven't tried the Buffalo Ribeye yet. The store has a lot of organic products so if your into the Buffalo or bison they carry it along with the organic foods but it's pricey.

I usually shop at this store around 5pm, an hour before they close. Every time I go in, it feels like the employees don't want customers to be there. Today was no exception. I wanted to buy some deli items and the employee had no mask on. How do you not wear a mask in a grocery store next to pre-made food. She finally pulled it up once she realized I was uncomfortable. I asked for the deli salads. She grabbed the containers and I realized she didn't have gloves on. By the way, prior to "helping" me she was doing dishes closing up for the night...50 minutes early before they close. She finished packing up my salad and threw them on the counter. Like my previous visits, I was a huge inconvenience to this establishment by shopping. All I wanted to do was support a local business. I realize now why they have little traffic every time I shop there. They treat their customers like this. I guess I have to go to a big box grocery store. Jewel maybe.

Wonderful, helpful staff. They went over and beyond to find us what we needed. Great selection of unusual meats. The fresh bison ribeyes were amazing. We will definitely be back!

A privately owned market similar in nature to Trader Joe's, both in size and the quality of food choices they offer. Nice deli featuring Dietz & Watson products and numerous hand prepared menu items. (Various salad dishes, potato pancakes, quiches, soups etc.) Nice butcher case with quality steaks, burgers, and other good cuts of meat. Generally if you care about what you are eating, this is a must stop, that is able to provide healthy quality food for your menu needs.

Excellent quality meats. It's difficult to find such a large variety of grass fed organic meats in this area. This store has become our go to stop for clean eating. They offer hormone and nitrate free deli meats as well. Try the bison, venison, and elk.

I have known both of the owners Beth and Roger for over 5 years. I have so much respect for there ability to seek a business that can really have a direct positive correlation on thousands of families by eating healthier foods. I have tried about 70% of there organic and grass fed meats and they are simple outsanding. I love there idea of there new store offering fresh produce and and great healthier meats and great prices. I love the fact that both Roger and Beth truly care about people in there community eating healthier. What really makes both of these owners great is that there 1st priority is that they assist in education of individuals on eating healthier and making better food choices and 2nd running a successful business. This is directly reflected in there great prices.Love this place!

Really like the frozen seafood department, mainly have bought the Lobster and Salmon, both are very good and worth what little extra you might pay from a bigger box store. This is not the place to fill a shopping cart for two weeks, I go to Woodman’s first for all my basics then stop here last for specialty items.

I finally pulled the trigger and went outside the box and bought two bison sirloins for the grill. They were awesome. Yes it is a little tricky to cook on a charcoal grill but it was worth it. 3mins maybe 4mins a side. So tasty and so buttery would think it was just an awesome piece of cow. Old Mill Creek thank you for the recommendation!

It's like an independent, less-pretentious Whole Foods! A lot of freshly butchered meats to choose from (Blackwing Quality Meats) -- best Italian sausage I've ever had as well as hard to find meats like elk, goat, ostrich, etc. Very fresh organic produce.

I don't live nearby but I'm visiting for work. You guys are lucky to have this place! Turkey chili, Flax milk, take-out coffee, Tea & food, large selection of fridge & frozen stuff, dried fruit and lots of cheese. Food lover's heaven.
