Just wanted to share my experience: herseys chocolate bars were on sale 5 bars for $5 if you like math that’s $1 per bar+ tax. I grabbed 5 bars and went to the register. A woman was ringing me up and the bars rang in at $2.25 each. I told her about the sale and she argued with me about it. I then walked over grabbed the sign and physically brought it to the register. You’d think this would fix the issue. Except the cashier adjusted 2 bars to $1.25 and 3 others to $2.25. I asked her if i have 5 bars and you are selling 5 bars for $5 why is it more than $1. She rolled her eyes and adjusted it again to $1.25 for all bars. I then asked her if i was the stupid one who couldn’t add and subtract or if she was. She rolled her eyes and finallly put them at the proper $1 per bar. lackof common sense and she shouldn’t be near a cash register ever.

This dollar general is so clean, I would eat off the floor. The staff is so polite and always working, I never see them slacing one bit. If anything the rest of the world can take heed from dollar generals employees at this store and most likely all the other ones.

No colorful pride but, for those who know what they need (Not produce) gem. The lovely staff here has been dedicated for years! I'm a critical person, in nature, but... This particular Dollar General is organized, clean and a dreamy breeze for shoppers!

I visit this store often. Staff are always super helpful and friendly. Variety of products here and almost always have what you are looking for. I love this location! 5 stars!

This particular dollar general has the WORST customer service. When I went here the other day, the employee was outside smoking next to the door. Not a good impression.Through out all the years I've shopped here I have NEVER received good customer service. The employees are just rude.As far as the products they are ok. They sell food at decent prices. The seasonal merchandise is nice. Good prices on cleaning supplies.

I buy all our cleaning supplies and coffee, creamer, etc for our office because you just can't beat the price. Not sure why the don't carry coffee cups and stirrers since they carry everything else for coffee drinkers. More than 1 check out person would be nice too.

Good products. Very reasonable prices. The Antioch store is the only Dollar General that carries the Minute Maid lemonade in the 2 liter bottles. Keep up the great work that you do.

Got some decent socks for super cheap. Don't usually go here because I prefer dollar stores that are actually a dollar, BUT they are good in a pinch when you just need like one thing and you wanna just run in and out. and they sell smokes! which alot of places are not doing anymore. Nice workers and decent snacks. 9/10 wish we had a dollar tree in Antioch.

Dollar general I dont go to often but they do have a refrigerated section with milk, cheese, eggs, deli meat and more. Wish there was a bit more variety for soups but I love the soups they do have. Though I dont buy any snacks from there because the same snacks I can get at dollar tree for just a dollar when dollar general is more than a dollar.

Always has good deals,also is well stocked with murchandise.This store carries gift cards along with rechargeable pho e cards for convenience and gives cashback at register.Clean store.Fast paced line.Friendly employees.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The layout of the store is very customer friendly as well. There are a lot of other dollar stores, I’ve been that are just too cluttered and very messy. This location is not like that.

This store has alot of veriaty of goods. I'm not to keen on generic brands they don't taste the same. However prices are right and the staff are very nice.

Picked up a couple things while Christy or her sister went in Piggly Wiggly she made dinner. It would be great to work with and the Dollar General or Family Dollar stores build and grow in countries in Mexico , India, Africa cause then they can share in some of value we do here in America

I have had a woman who works there accuse me of stealing multiple times. The first time was my wallet which I walked in with it in my hand and she greeted me. She has followed me around the site once to see if I put anything in my purse while I am walking through the isles. It's a shame that I have been accused of stalking and followed around many of times by the same woman.

One of the best Dollar General stores in the area. Been to one in Grayslake and the aisles were small and cluttered. This store has plenty of room to walk
