One of the best pet shops around. Ample supply for all your pet needs. Great array of fish. They will swap fish sometimes or give you a discount on certain products. Great supply of fish tanks, all sizes, dog food, pretty much everything. They have cats up for adoption, they have hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, snakes, lizards, other animals also.Staff is the best. Friendly, informative and professional. Love the place. Recommend to all pet lovers.

They have a huge selection of food & toys. They also have a wide assortment of tropical & fresh water fish & reptiles, mice, rats, etc..They also carry the occasional rescue kittys & puppies. Well stocked Pet Store as good as any in the area.

Had to pick up a replacement tank after a spreading crack put our frye tank OOC. Quick and easy trip resulted in a beautiful (used) 10 gallon and a sturdy aquarium lid for under $15! Evidently money back guaranteed on used equipment even. A million and one reasons to love Best Pets! Thanks to everyone there working through these hard times.

Tired of that big box pet store that never has what you want? What they do have looks beat up? Then try Best Pets ! Can't say enough good things about Terry's Help . I was unable to find what I wanted . Terry has gotten what I was looking for a couple times now . (This last time in less than 24 hrs ) And top quality. New equipment, used equipment. Both very well priced. You don't get that from a pet chain . Staff knows their stuff . Give them a try, we'll worth the tripAnd thanks my shrimp are beautiful

I got a English baby budergiar from hereThis place is well kept and have a large bird aviary where they let parakeets finches and canaries fly freely. They Also have a cage in the front of the store where they house baby English budgerigars. There were 3 in a large well ventilated cage when I bought lemon. They are not in the aviary and are bred locally.They are roughly hand fed but are not tamed fully. They are about 6 months when you buy them (edit : the blue one and the green one were different ages then lemon.) I recommend this place for someone looking for some finches, canaries, parakeets, or English budgerigars. It’s good to give money to a small local shop then feels guilty funding petco and petsmart!English budgies - $45Parakeets - $19

I really like the size of this pet store. They have a lot of really unique stuff as well as good quality products and a reasonable price! Nice people, well stocked and I'm always taken care of. This is the experience of a small business versus a big box store, I don't even go to the big box stores anymore! There is a wealth of animal knowledge here as well so if you have a question I almost guarantee you they have someone there that can answer it. Thank you guys very much.

Eww. I've been here twice, and both times have never heard a peep from staff. Not a "hello", "can I help you?", nothing. And my gosh, does it stink in there. Also, I looked at the kittens and asked about them and was told, "If you haven't applied, you can't see them." Nothing else! She just walked away.

We go here to get random things for our pets and also purchased our rats here. They have been invaluable with their knowledge and expertise. We love to bring our rats here for nail trimmings and are always happy to support this great local business by grabbing some extra goodies each time we stop in.

Independent pet shops over the years have closed due to the major box pet stores! Best Pets has stood and grown dramatically over the last 30+ years!! They cater to each customer by being so very attentive and going over and above the needs of their customers. Need a cage?? Lots to choose from or they can always order one! Need any advice about your fish, birds, cat, guinea pig, hampster, dogs, or reptiles?? They will go the extra mile to suggest many helpful ideas!!

The size of the store is big however, the selection of bird products is not as much as they post online. Animals look sad there. Their used products are ok. One of the staff members was being lazy and I did not feel welcomed here. There are better stores out there that have lovely staff and much better selection.

Been going here even since I can remember. Locally owned with better pet food than you can buy in grocery stores. Great, friendly staff. Always have cute rescue kitties for adoption! Love this place.

This is an excellent choice for pet needs, including those who have reptiles and birds. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The store even has a section for used pet supplies like leashes and large fish takes for those who want something on a budget. I always love supporting a local business, and will continue to shop here in the future!

I love this little hometown pet shop that grew huge. So many things there, including used cages so you don't have to spend all that money on a brand new cage for some of the critters. And the people who work there are always kind and helpful.

Loved this place. Very friendly staff and reasonable pricing for things. I have two amazing, sweet pet rats. Stopped by today to see the rats they have currently and it disgusted me. All of them were not okay at all. Barely water or food. Never have I been bitten by a domesticated rat and I got bit many times. Not just a cute friendly bite, they broke skin. They are absolutely terrified of humans. Very hot room with glass casings which I couldn't imagine living in. I am HEART BROKEN. Hate rats or love rats: NO ANIMAL SHOULD EVER DESERVE THIS!!!!!

Excellent store, phenomenal staff! I drive past many pet stores to go here. The staff takes their time to answer my questions. They are experts on dog nutrition, having helped us when our little guy was terribly sick and stopped eating. Steve was extremely patient and wouldn't give up. The animals here are clean and well taken care of.

The staff here is really great and knowledgeable from my perspective. Although I bought 6 fish last week that died in 6 hours so I took them back next day and she gave me new fish at no cost. Went home floated fish like I was told all died in 5 minutes never in 25 years of raising fish have I seen this. I had bought 4 fish from another pet store prior to these which are still living and after these 6 from best pets died I went back to the other pet store bought 8 more and of course are still living. My wife yelled at me for not going back to best pets to get my money back. I took it as a loss and a lesson. $50.00 down the drain. Best pets said must be your water. Well if 12 fish from the other pet store lived it ain't my water which was tested by best pets and the other pet store which read good quality.

This is the best, absolute best, pet supply store around. They have everything I need (Fromm dog food which can't be found at other retailers sometimes) and so much more. Excellent, helpful, friendly staff, and really good prices. We got two cat trees on sale here once and the total was about what you'd spend on just one! Love this place!

The best! I needed help with a fish tank and supplies and they were SO helpful! Also, I bought a bunny there 2 years ago. They knew his birthday. Animals are all spotless and well taken care of and obviously loved!
