Today I went to Ace and saw the Scott’s fertilizer had a sale if you purchased all four. The sign was posted above all the fertilizers. I loaded the four bags along with other items and proceeded to the cashier. Cashier then advised the sale had ended and called for the manager. The manager arrived and says he can’t give me the sale price or he’d have to give everyone the price. I then told the cashier I wouldn’t be purchasing the items. For over 20 years I’ve purchased the fertilizer and other items from Ace. Today will be the last day I’ll spend money at Ace and will go to the big box stores instead. I’ve always argued with people who say Ace is overpriced up until today. I then drove to Menards and spent my money.

I enjoy going to an old fashion hardware store. The people who work there are extremely helpful. They answered all my questions. The workers were all masked. The store is meet and clean. The checkout lanes have social distancing marks on the floor. You can order online and come to the store for curbside service. You can also order online and have things delivered. I stop in once a month to take advantage of the sales. They offer fast propane tank refilling. I only takes a few minutes.

Ace is one of the few stores around that still has a "hometown" feel. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the selection is pretty good. They've got a little bit of everything at reasonable prices.

They are so helpful and they have a huge variety of hardware. from grilling to boating to landscaping to homee improvement. Bought a Weber grill for the same price as Amazon but they put it together and delivered it 10 min later!!!

The outside garden area is very nicely laid out and the store interior is very clean and organized. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Over priced and they used to have everything now they fill the shelves with overpriced items that are impulsive buys for most people I hate to say it but in Antioch it’s Menards

If you need any nuts or bolts, double AND triple check what you have. The drawers are all mixed up. I needed a few bolts and didn't check. The thread pitch on the bolts I bought were different, as were the thread picth bon some of the nuts.PLUS, I went back to get the right ones, but their info. for hours of operation (here on Google) is ALL WRONG!!!

Ace Hardware used to have such helpful and friendly employees. Workers don't seem to want to help and do not have pleasant attitudes. My husband has asked for help multiple times and always gets attitude from the workers.

I've always preferred Ace over the big box stores. Friendly people, the store is well laid out, you don't have to walk 5 miles to find what you want. I don't think I've ever been in there and not found what I needed. It gives that hometown, small town feeling.

I had to pick up my lawn mower after I had a tune up. I had also bought a lot of flowers and dirt.Even though they had four people on the registers, two were training. One associate was outside watering the flowers. Two men were in the back where I picked up my lawn mower and not one single associate offered to help me load my pickup truck for me 'A woman by herself'. I had to pick up that lawn mower by myself. Plus the cashier charged me another $30 for the diagnosis fee which I already paid the first time when I dropped off the lawn mower which they still never refunded me. Ugh!

Best ACE around :) They’re right across the street when we need them. The staff are fantastic, even the younger kids. Would love to see my kids work there in a few years. Thank you for being friendly and having what we need! Shop local!

Have been in a few times and have always had good interactions with the staff. Tonight I brought in my German Shepherd dog with a muzzle to pick out a toy after his vet visit, everyone was incredibly kind and non-judge mental. I super appreciate the kindness the staff showed towards my special boy. ❤️

Came in 4 minutes before close and got my spare keys cut. Guy did a pretty good job. Also had the special coin cell battery I needed. Staff is kind a d helpfull. Checkout process was quick and easy. Thank you Ace hardwre. I will be back for more..

I applied to this location only to find the staff are all white after entering the building. They don't reach out to you if they aren't going to hire you so don't hold your breath just apply anywhere else. That little old white lady in the office is trash.

The garden fertilizer that was advertised was well stocked and a super deal! They still had some healthy looking vegetable and herb plants considering it's over a month into planting season. Helpful staff, super clean store.

My children bought me a fishingpole for fathers day. I used it once. Then it broke. Trevor a man at Ace first stated they didnt have item.Then finally checked brought one up and stated this pole has never been sd at are store white pole that said folds of honor a zebco. O was shocked that they wouldnt exchange item. Now with our economy we all pay way too much for otems in general Ace is overpriced to begin with but i like to hlep out local buis. I will now drive down the street to Menards and get my hardware needs at at least half the price and get 11 percent back. Stores need to jelp and service their customers and stop being money hungry.
