Where is the customer service in these establishments anymore. I walked in and was wasn’t greeted at all by the cashier (lady with red hair), she was too busy texting and drinking her beverage. I said ok I’ll give her a pass. I then walked pass another associate that was scanning product on the shelves (inventory) that pretty much took a mad dash after I asked where I could find the peroxide. (Pierced face, didn’t catch her name tag to see who she was)I was done with my trip, so I headed to the front to cash out. I see the red haired lady (London) again texting on her phone. I greeted her again and got no response. If someone is going to patronize your establishment you need to make sure that the customer service worker/cashier or what have you is at least acknowledging that they see this person.

I've been a Walgreens Pharmacy user my entire life and this store has made me choose to take my money elsewhere. The pharmacy staff are rude and talk to you like you are stupid. I originally called to update my insurance info over the phone like I have many times before and the staff refused and stated it was against their policy to take insurance info over the phone. Once I arrived to the location, the tech made me put my phone in the drive-thru window box for her to take. Coming from someone who works in healthcare that is a huge health and privacy violation as they could have looked through all my information without my consent. Then after sitting in the drive thru for 20 minutes the second time in 24 hours, they told me my medication was not ready yet..although I got a notification it was ready the day prior. This place is SKETCHY

Why does this store have a drive thru if they are going to just completely ignore it. As previous reviewer said, I arrived just before 11pm. Sat at drive thru and pushed the "call" button several times with no signs of human life inside. Finally after about 10 minutes a voice came in the speaker and asked my name. From thst point transaction went well, but why ignore customers for 10 minutes?

I am surprised this place is still open with all the bad reviews. Maybe we need to get it shut down peopleGo to the BBB web site and file a bad review. I will work on a class action lawsuit lawyer. There is a ton of things we can sue them for. Walgreens is going down

Refused to let me use my gift card for ibuprofen. The girl scanned the card wrong and made zero effort to even try to do it correctly and now my head is killing me and I have useless money. She really doesn’t need a job. It was the younger girl and she’s a lazy entitled brat. She couldn’t even listen long enough to understand what happened. Had no issue a different time but y’all really wanted a low rating 🤷🏼♀️

Went through the drive through to pick up a prescription around 11:30pm, which is open at that time, after ringing the buzzer a couple of different times and ten minute wait. We left without our prescription. We could also see the inside counter and there were no customers or employees there either. Not good business in my opinion.

Just spent 25 MINUTES in the Pharmacy drive thru lane. The person in front of me refused to go inside and the staff didn't know how to handle the situation. When I expressed my frustration with waiting more than 25 MINUTES, I was told the Ddrive thru was for "convenience not speed"!Really?? Maybe they should ask the Jack In The Box across the street to provide customer service training to the pharmacy staff.

Do not in trust Alton Walgreens with your Fed Ex packages. I dropped mine off on a Tuesday morning and was told they would be picked up that day. They were not picked up until late afternoon Thursday. I know it’s Fed Ex fault too. But you would think they employees would notice and make sure they were shipped out. Instead the employee laughed at me when I told her I have a small business and now my customers will not get there stuff on time. The supervisor was supposed to call me back but never did. Who knows how long my packages would of sat there if I didn’t say something.

What happened to a live person answering a phone when you place a call to a business. Get a grip Walgreens. I don't need to hear when your pharmacy staff take a meal break. Or any other part of your outgoing message. If I need that information I ask. I want to speak to live person about my mother's medications. You've moved away from being a friendly neighborhood pharmacy to cold computerized corporate machine that doesn't care about it customers or their needs.

The old lady who works here (at the main register Wednesday Sep 29th) is horribly rude and has been in multiple instances and this is not the first time my family has complained about her. Today my mom went into the store to get infant tylenol for my baby who is sick. The infant tylenol was listed at $7.99 with a buy one get one half off promotion label. However at the register it apparently rang up at $10.99 each, no promotion. My mom tried to explain to her that that was incorrect and she refused to check the label and just adamantly told her that was the price. She couldn't stay and argue it because my son and I were in the car and he was running a fever. My mom later went to Walmart and found infant tylenol at $5.99 a bottle. It was a mistake to come to Walgreens at all.

I’m only mad because due to all of the excessive opiate users around here I cannot get my prescription for my post-operation pain killer an hour after the operation. I find it very hard to believe they don’t have hydrocodone in stock, and if that’s actually the case, maybe they need to rethink their inventory habits. I’m highly irritated with Walgreens right now. And you can’t transfer script locations. Broken system.

Put a rush on my prescription because I was feeling horrible ! They were so kind about it and said that they knew how it felt and so they rushed it. That was the kindest thing any business could do for us when we are feeling our worst! Thank you so much! Now I can go home and start feeling better with my prescriptions!!!

I have never been impressed with their customer service, but over the last few months it has declined terribly. The drive thru is insane with the amount of time it takes to get through it. I had to call the insurance company to find out that they were trying to charge me $189 for a medication that should have been $12.50 out of my pocket.They have randomly submitted a med request for a more expensive thyroid medication due to the fact insurance refused to pay for it, instead of asking what I would like to do or common sense would say if it’s cheaper then obviously it shouldn’t be an issue.They have trouble keeping one of my medications stocked-not their fault- I was told the estimated arrival date was 2/8, yet I heard nothing. When questioned on 2/26 they have no idea what’s going on and randomly send me to Bethalto without calling to make sure they had it in stock, which they didn’t. They seem to be very money motivated at all cost to the point it makes me wonder if they have a commission or bonus system in place at this store?They are very little customer service minded at this location. I believe the $189 to the $12.50 is my last go around at this store.

I had a "manager" tell me she couldn't return an item because I bought it in Missouri. That was totally false, she just didn't feel like doing the return. I went down the street to another Walgreens and guess what? They did my return with no problem.

The cashier that took over at 10 pm was extremely rude to me after I said thanks and was leaving. I already get a lot of stuff over my monotone voice and would appreciate not getting treated poorly when I shop as well because of it.

My review is for Google. I asked for 'Almay make-up near me'. The second recommended store was this Walgreens. I was at this Walgreens earlier today and know that they do not carry any Almay products!

Fantastic pharmacy. Pharmacist really cares and is always helpful. Wait times can get long during rush hours but that's because it's the main pharmacy in town. They usually are able to fill my med in an hour or less.

Clean store. Prompt help in the check-out lines. When asked about a product the customer service worker knew what he/she was talking about or he/she asked to get the answer correctly stated. Nice people. Prompt and timely help.

Waited 30 minutes in store for a prescription. We were told they would call us over the intercom when it was ready. After waiting we went through the drive through and it was magically ready then. No intercom, no announcement, who knows how long we were waiting for no reason.

I think that this walgreens is pretty much awesome and has a lot of great people who work there. But sometimes they do have a cashier that wears green sweat pants with a blue shirt, doesn't really match....other than that, i think they have great customer service.

Only the slowest Walgreens ,on the planet ... Not to mentionthe worse customer service ,I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing in my life ..The staff always seem tobe very rude an never atall helpful ... I don't recommendthis particular , Walgreens !

I got misdiagnosed at the clinic was made even more sick with the meds they put me on to treat me for something I didn’t have. had to go to my normal dr the next day got put on more meds to correct what they did and fix what I had wrong was also charged 200$ by the clinic to be misdiagnosed do NOT trust them!
