I enjoy working with Dan and his team for Special Event rentals. I rent tents, tables and chairs. The team are professional and efficient. I have a couple of outdoor events where they provide my tents. I know I don't have to worry about them, I can give them the schedule, the location and know everything will be set and ready for our staff and volunteers.

Great store with tons of items to choose from. Staff is really knowledgeable and super helpful, compared to the big box stores that have no idea what they are talking about. Grabbed pet supplies and gardening tools! Love supporting a locally owned business.

The service counter an gray haired gentleman, was very helpful, they cut and threaded a 10ft 2” pipe for only $5 /cut. Pipecutter cost $$$$Other places wouldn’t help me!They are a bit pricey for furnace filters.Everyone was friendly enough.I would recommend to others!

Every visit to St. Peter's Hardware has been great. They always have what I came for. The prices are more than fair. Location and parking is also great. I don't have a single complaint. Highly recommend for all your hardware and rental needs.

They had a fully stocked and well run rental department. I rented a sewer auger and it was in great shape. I placed the order and someone helped me put it in my car all within less than 10 minutes. They also had friendly and knowledgeable sales associates who answered my questions and gave some great advice as well. A great hometown hardware store and a great experience overall. Thanks!

Had a 'new employee' give me a quote and reserve a skid steer rental at an amazing low price, and I even called back to confirm the pricing and the reservation. When I showed up for pickup, the store manager told me the real price was actually 5 times higher than originally quoted, and that their employee mis quoted me because she had only been there for 3 days. I politely asked for a discount of some kind to make up for their mistake and the older manager literally laughed and smirked at me, telling me no discount would be provided. Never going back to this store again, filled with unprofessional and misleading management.

My husband told me I could come in with him and see if I needed anything. When we came inside the old Queen Bee of the store let us know they didn’t have what my husband came for and seemed very ready for us to leave. I did not buy anything and probably never will after her treatment. A man did try to see if they had what we needed even though she said they didn’t. Send grandma home.

Such a great store. Always extremely helpful - not only in product, but in installation/application procedures as well. You just CANNOT get this at a big Home Depot or Lowes. And surprisingly, this store has EVERYTHING - even though they are smaller than those big box hardware stores.Shop local - it's worth it.

Way too expensive, even the rental equipment. Drive an extra 2 or 3 miles to a big box store and get the same thing for almost half the price. Also, way too many associates standing around talking when they could be doing something.

St. Pete's is an excellent hardware store. Well stocked, knowledgeable staff.I prefer it to the big box hardware stores a mile down the road because I can get in and out quickly and the staff can actually advise me about techniques and materials.

I have been trying to shop smaller and local when I can lately and have been pleased with the selection that St Peters Hardware has to offer. It is also much easier to find someone to answer a question or help you find something when needed. Great service and selection.

I rented some equipment for my outdoor wedding. A flooring material, chairs and tablecloths. Due to weather I had to move my wedding from outdoors to in. When they delivered the items I was going to go ahead and take the flooring even though it was no longer needed, as I spent about $300.00 to rent it. The drivers didn’t unload it and when I asked why not, they said it would be taken off my contract and wouldn’t have to pay for it since they weren’t leaving it. I was charged the full amount and I have no problem with that, except for that I was told by a representative of the company one thing and it was not honored. On top of that when they came to pick up the items they didn’t pick up the tablecloths because they “could not find them” and I had to make an hour and a half round trip to pick them up and deliver back to the store even though the tablecloths were in plain sight on top of the bar.***Edit to review after a manager called very upset and “disappointed” in me for my review***The tablecloths were beautiful and the chairs were very clean, easy to handle, and very beautiful as well.

St. Peters (True Value) on State St. Is awesome! Unlike Lowes and Home Depot, they actually take the time to show you how to get the job done and at a reasonable price. The other places make you feel stupid. The people here actually help you and are so nice.I will always come to St Peter's (True Value) on State St. For all my home repair needs.

Best hardware store in town. You walk in and there’s someone to help you, immediately. You don’t have to wander around endlessly looking for what you came for. Everyone is unbelievably nice and the prices compare to those of any big box store.

I have been needing some equipment to rent from the Godfrey location. Each time I call to rent equipment it has been broken down. I needed to rent some concrete items and both items have been broke down for 6 weeks now. Customer service is at par because they don't tell you anything about the equipment that is broke down either. I will take my business to Nu Way.
