Patsy is not someone that should be in management at all! When I arrived in the store with my granddaughter and children she was pulling items towards the front of shelves and/or restocking. She was in the party aisle when we came down the toy aisle, while I was in the aisle waiting for my granddaughter to choose a toy/puzzle Patsy comes behind me and says, “I need to get right there!” I asked if she could wait until I moved. She immediately got an attitude towards me and was mumbling that she asked nicely. She then made sure she continued to express how she felt to a coworker loud enough for us to hear in the next aisle. Really? Who does that? You’re an assistant manager. Since when in any store do approach a customer this way. As I walked away she again mumbled about being rude. I wasn’t rude I want to shop just like anyone else. You shouldn’t rush someone if you really want them to patronize your store. I do not come to this location because of this very reason. I called East Alton because I wasn’t going to go back and forth about this situation if she’s going to be the person that I have to talk to. I’m not sure how many people have had this same issue with her, but my experience was not the best at all and I will not recommend this location unless you want bad customer service and a frown. Patsy had no badge on to identify who she was. I’m done.

Dollar Tree has some great deals you can't find anywhere else. Two of my favorites are the Golden Home Ultra Thin Pizza Crusts (great for St. Louis style pizza), and their assortment of Blu-rays and DVDs (which are usually well-stocked, especially around Halloween.)

One person working while lady in back makes announcements. Tried buying a lighter at self checkout and waited 5 minutes for assistance than walked out. Probably would've taken the cashier 2 minutes

This store is well put together. Everything that has a place is there in it's place. My cashier was very friendly and respectful. I will go back there again. First time there.

This store is the place that the Dollar goes to die! There is nothing good that I can say about my recent shopping experience except that the exit is clearly marked! All I can say is don't ever ask to use the restroom, the manager gets really ticked off if the cashier gives the customer the key! The manager will go into a rage like its the end of the world as we know it, and create quite a scene at the front end of her store! With management like that I can see why the store employees are not happy! I think the manager on duty on Friday 11/26/2021 was promoted to her level of incompetence

I sat at the register for a good minute before shaking the bucket thing, no-one said anything i shout is anyone here, no word again shook the bucket real hard and one finally showed up to argue with me that i wasn't waiting long idc how long i had to wait and call you 3 times and don't argue with me

I have gone by the new Godfrey location 3 times in the past 7 days and there is a "Temporarily Closed" handwritten sign on both entry doors. While I was leaving the parking lot yesterday, 4 other customers pulled in.Very frustrating.

Well organized, tidy little store. Personable employees. It got busy, but they knocked out the long line in no time, and with smiles on their faces. Definitely one of the best locations I've visited.

Wish I could give zero stars. My wife & I went to the Alton location for balloons and before I could even ask about which balloons I was interested in, the lady coped an attitude with me and then screamed to the back to ask if they had anyone there who could blow them up, which apparently no one there knew how to use the helium tank.

Nice and clean in the stores but the doors is always filthy. I spoke with the manager she stated they get wiped every night and walked away. Place have someone wipe the door glass off multiple times a day.

The store Itself is nice in order which is why it's getting the 3 star rating But there employees are horrible! This isn't just one occasion I've had it happen to me but several times now. This store needs new employees immwd especially for the night shift immediately!

We went to Dollar Tree to purchase items for our Valentines. All the merchandise we wanted was in the store, and although the lines were long the two cashiers were professional, kept the lines moving, and cordial. A very pleasant experience.

Everybody around here knows "Dollar Tree" is great. They have items for a dollar! The cashiers are there. Products ranging from paper plates to decorative flat- wear and cups; preschool and art supplies, cooking utensils and hygine products; sodas, fruit juice, microwaveable dinners, ice cream and party decorations. $1.00! NOW That's awesome.

This is by far one of cleanest and nearest Dollar Trees I have ever been in. Everything was on the shelf neatly and I didn’t have to decipher between misplaced items. Keep up the good work!

I wish they had more cashiers. Sometimes it takes much longer to check out than to shop. I will say this, the staff is very friendly and polite.

Love shopping here its $1 price is awesome and they also have a wide variety of food and product. But also love it for the kids to take shopping they feel like their getting more toys and I'm actually spending less!!

MY VERY CREATIVE CRAFTY SUPPLY STORE. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A GREATER SUPPLY OF FLOWERS, I'M A FLORAL DECORATOR... ALSO DIFFERENT SIZES OF GLUE STICKS. IT'S BEEN A PROBLEM FOR ME SINCE THE STORE IS CONVENIENT FOR NON DRIVERS.

Tons of junk you can't live without, all for a dollar. This is the awesome kind of place where you anticipate spending three dollars, but you find so much you spend thirteen. Wonderful place.
