I would like to give 0 stars ,Got hired, but never was able to start because they didn’t want to pay me more , when we talked about it and manager agreed on getting me higher pay but never got back with me again. Store and employees are very dirty and no professionalism at all. Store is destroyed and they want people to work 14$ for a lead position but you will be doing stuff you aren’t hired to do and management sucks. Ever wondered why every dollar general is always messed up and no one there. That’s why . Low pay , high demands, bad management and hired employees.

This store is in a strip mall not standalone. Prices are good. Lots of variety — food, clothing, cleaning supplies, just to name a few. There’s so much inside it’s a bit claustrophobic. Aisles are narrow.

The staff here isn't that friendly however the area doesn't have offer much demographically or socioeconomicly either so not much surprise there. Seemingly it's my go to place for last min grocery or household supplies. Also not much to offer when it comes to their regular stock. I literally went every single day for a week and the puppy chow was out of stock consistently. Other then the original dg shop it's nothing special that's for sure. I also used to avoid this one in particular store for these reasons.

Have never been a Dollar General shopper however this location had a recent remodel and it is very nice. I've added this place to my list for checking prices. The food section was huge. I would think anyone on a tight or fixed income could do well getting their groceries here. Great selection and prices on the food items.

This is the ONLY Dollar General in the area I go to! The workers have always been very helpful and respectful. I've never had a problem there unlike the one on Broadway, It seems like they always had an attitude when I went there in the past.

Very high turn over rate, shelves are always empty! Been going for almost 3 years now and it never changes. Awful management and staff is completely over worked and unappreciated!

Employee/manager named Stephanie cussed at me. Was told by another employee(?) to go to hell. No one deserves that by an employee. Called corporate and was given complete respect and understanding. Was asked for personal information to send me something...sure it's in the mail...

On my recent visit the service was not good. Please teach your employees to acknowledge customers... they finally opened up an additional register but took the person behind me and then walked away...never even acknowledged me.

I just ran in to get asprin and birthday cards. They had what I needed at a really good price. The clerk was helpful and polite.

Love the improvements & everything being switched around. It's much more convenient for shoppers to find what they're looking for in a close space to things related to that item.

Staff at this Dollar General are all very nice. They are often busy with few staff so on occasion there can be a 5-10 min wait in line.

I've always been a Dollar General shopper, I'm from Kentucky, and only lived a few miles from the home of DG, Scottsville, KY. So it is a little piece of home up here in Illinois.

The one by shnucks in Godfrey is alway better then the one in monocello plaza ... nicer staff and always stocked better!!! It maybe a couple mins farther from my home but I always head to it 1st!

Come here a lot. Closest place to the house. Employees always friendly here and clearance isle is always popping with great steals!!!
