Absolutely love the DG family, and when you shop there as much as I do, and see them every day, they become like family. All of the ladies and Jay are extremely helpful and really sweet. Now if only they made it into a market place so I wouldn’tHave to go anywhere else to buy my meat and veggies! Truly a staple for Fosterburg citizens and surrounding areas! Nice clean aisles to walk through, everything easy to find! Come check them out!

The store just opened and is in a great location. The manager as well as all the employees are extremely helpful and very friendly. It's so nice to be in a dollar general as clean and maintained as this one. However Im not certain everyone around here is aware of it's opening yet so I thought I would give a shout out and let everyone know what they're missing by not stopping by this latest edition to the Dollar general franchise. Welcome to the neighborhood!🌄

Dollar Generals are generally adorable and convenient. I appreciate that and their staff and generally friendly. Yes, I appreciate the play on words there. The reason I can't give them the fifth star is because they directly compete with local, small town stores - particularly grocery and corner convenience stores. They've been aggressively targeting rural areas. And, while I appreciate having more options and it's not Walmart, or anything other Big Box, it's still not a mom and pop country store. I'd rather shop local; but, as mentioned, I appreciate the cost and convenience.

My favorite dollar general. I know some of the workers by name, stopping by pretty often. It’s clean, good customer service overall. I usually shop for 90% of essential needs at this convenient location.

They are always well stocked. They do quick checkouts even if the lines are long. Ice is also cheap.

Illinois is operating under a Mask Required Everywhere State Mandate, however they don't enforce it. Even the clerks aren't wearing them properly, on the ears but attached over their chins, leaving nose and mouth uncovered. I personally think it's wrong not to enforce the mandate. I shall boycott this establishment and hope others follow suit.
