What an adorable little antique shop!The women working there were so nice to us when we came in, and very friendly.There were booths full of all sorts of things. Everything from dinnerware to clothes, to jewelry and toys, and books and craft supplies and cradles and kitsch.We could have spent so much time digging around in here. We weren't looking for anything specific, just spending a lazy day wandering town. I ended up buying a super cute Halloween cookie plate for a steal at $5.This is a hidden gem of a spot, and I'd definitely visit again if I'm ever in Alton again.

This is one of the nicest antique stores in Alton. They have lots to look through! The prices are more than fair (most times a bargain). The service I have received is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Country Meadows if you are looking to browse an antique store.

Both of these stores are lovely! The lower level workers ( there were two ladies and an older gentleman there at the time) they were so welcoming and comforting! I would have stayed and talked to them for a few hours longer if my group would have let me! They have so much cool stuff and lots to look at!

This is without a doubt one of the best destination antique shops in the Missouri/Illinois area. There’s always a wide variety from country to city, primitives to mid century. Gary and Pam are great people who make it fun and easy to shop.
