Great selection of quality hardware items at a reasonable price. I got good advice and the right part to repair a sliding closet door. Yes, I have returned and have made subsequent purchases. Bo's is a great alternative to the big box stores if you appreciate customer service. He seems to be a very good gentleman. It's a small store with a HUGE inventory. If you don't see it, ask. Instead of buying a plastic bag with a bunch of screws or bolts, you can buy one or 100 at a reasonable price. I recommend doing business with this gentleman!

Bo's is the best, they carry all the things for my old house, that other stores don't carry. My dad and I searched every store for a part for our tub , but only bo's had exactly what we needed. Thank you.

Where else is the owner going to put together a new water shut off stem to fit something from the 1950s and do it on the spot! This guy has stuff that other plumbing supply and hardware stores don’t have. If you need an odd nut or bolt walk in show it too him and he’ll grab you one. You don’t have to walk 10 miles searching through a giant store to get what you need. His prices are fair too! This store is part of what makes Alton special, he does a giant service to his community and places like this are a National treasure, not many left. Go do business at Bo’s hardware and you’ll find out what the good old days were about!

Bo has been a God send for me down through the years. Being of the female gender, I sometimes don't know the name of what it is I am in search of. I can just tell Bo what I want to get done and he then figures out what I need to finish my projects. I love his patience and his old school line of items that he carries in his store. If you can't find it anywhere else, you can find it at Bo's.My hat is off to him.
