This place is awesome if your willing to dig and pilfer. They have a very very large book selection if you like to read. I definitely would suggest stopping by and checking this place out.

My best friend, grandma, and I hit this place up last weekend and were absolutely delighted by the overall selection. First of all, the place itself is massive and has plenty of walkable room. Second of all, the drive to it (from St Louis) is absolutely gorgeous— Alton itself is charming but the real winner of the entire town is the mighty Mississippi — of which this is right down the street from. Lastly, the prices were stupid cheap. I couldn’t believe it. With the way *everything* has gotten more expensive (unfortunately including thrifting in this narrative as well) I was shocked. I found a vintage black and white bag from the 60’s that was easily worth a $100 but was marked down to $16. I will be back! They also accept debit cards and credit cards— FYI. This place is really cool and unique.

Nice friendly works huge sellection of what ever you may want or maybe looking for you should be able to find something that you just have to have check them out but make sure you go to the restroom before you get there,so far no public rest rooms,other then that,if you have time yo brows,check them out great prices,and it a big place for sure.keep up the great work but please put some rest rooms in.not an A+ plus but real close to it.

Dirty place, broken tools, overpriced, might be able to get some college books there...but i wouldnt expect too much of a deal... condition of the vinyl record section was very disappointing...decent selection of clothes though

If you looking for books, it is a great place to visit. Other than books, I didn't see much. Organization is a bit chaotic.

Been trying to go to this place for awhile now and finally got to go today. Was really disappointed. Did not really have anything and 85% of the store was books.

This place was a bit scary. It looks like a condemned building with stuff thrown everywhere. The books and videos were a bit interesting, they have educational materials.
