Archer and Reggie love this place. Whenever we ask them if they want to go to daycare they get so excited! One of the dogs had horrible anxiety form a previous boarder in Palatine but he has bonded with the staff here and leaves happier than ever! Nobody knows what Reggie thinks since he’s a weirdo but he seems happy :). Thank you team for all of your love with our crazy boys!!!

This place is amazing, Wouldn't take my dog anywhere else, ever since I found this place its its the spot for my dog. Baths and overnight stays are at a great price. Highly recommended, these people know what they're doing. My dog Chato loves it.

I'm super happy with the care, attention and gentleness in which the staff at the Dog Waggin' in Algonquin showed my beagle. Banjo was an anxious mess when she first met the folks here as we were in the process of moving and as a rescue she was quite thrown off by the whole process. During moving day, they took care of her and when I went to pick her up she was so much more relaxed than I'd seen her all week. She hasn't been back in some time but she's due for a full grooming package so I'm looking to book her a day of pamepering and play very soon.

I have been taking my dog Marcus to doggy daycare for a couple of months now and he absolutely loves it! The staff is super friendly! I also just tried out their grooming services and I’m very happy with that as well. Thanks Dog Waggin!

UPDATE: I'd like to respond to the lies they've added. First, I wasn't 44 minutes early. I set the pick-up at 10am and was there at 10:01. Second, I didn't add any services when I booked. The bath was suggested after my first issue, again as if it was complimentary for the bad experience, and I simply mentioned it when dropping her off and the guy at the desk made no mention of it being extra or a price. Probably a good idea to check with customers to make sure they're ok with a cost. As for the dog breed, that shouldn't matter since when I dropped her off and they asked me what time I was picking up so they could have her bath taken care of wouldn't that be so she could be finished and dry when I picked her up? What groomer would ever give a dog back still wet and then blame the customer?I would avoid this place. Tried two separate occasions to board my dog there. After the first she came home super lethargic, and smelled of wet dog and urine. I asked if updates are provided, told they were, and never got any updates. After emailing the place with my concerns I was told I'd get updates in the future, baths are offered, and she was more than likely just worn out from all activity. Since I already booked my second stay I decided to give them a second chance. Again, I asked for updates and asked about the bath since it was mentioned in my email. In fact, it was presented as if it was a service they offered for boarding customers complimentary. It was not. There on my receipt was a 20 dollar charge for a bath. I guess drying costs extra because she was fairly significantly wet when I picked her up. Still no updates on her while she was staying there. This place has awful communication, lackluster service, and an almost seedy nature. I'd check the recency of the rest of these reviews and look for any of the number of places in the area to take your pets.

My dog, Grendel, has a great 8-day boarding stay at The Dog Waggin. She is very nervous and has separation anxiety, but she adapted fine. Lisa evaluated her to ensure it was a good fit and invited her visit again so that she would get used to it. They provided updates and pictures. She came home happy, healthy, and even smelling great (she had the bath pack)!

We were referred by a friend over a year ago & the rest is history! Our puppy Dottie, has been going there and she loves it! All I have to say is are "are you going to see your friends?" "Wanna go to Dog Waggin?" The dog goes bananas and races to the door with excitement!The staff is knowledgeable & professional....My family highly recommends this place! Just did some major renovations to the facility & top notch! Thank you for all of your services & care!!

I found my new place for all of my dogs needs! The owner is very kind and was very accommodating for both my large dogs. I didn’t get the female trimmers name but she kicked butt at trimming both my boys overgrown nails and had it done in less than 5 minutes.

This place is disgusting and I say it to hopefully get the owner's attention!! It's simple clean up your lobby area. Maybe straighten some of your displays and frames. Also, simply wipe down things. My dog is such a people dog and he loves going into new environments. When I brought my dog into this building he literally walked out the door and looked at me like what are we doing here lol. Poor guy :( got his nails trimmed I don't even know what they cut off lol it must have been the very very tip. There's definitely more I could say but I'm not trying to beat up a company over my comments.. Hopefully this helps this place straighten things up.

Ahh, this is absolutely the most overdue (but much needed) review. We've been bringing our pup, Kona, to The Dog Waggin' ever since she was old enough (i.e. up to date on all her needed shots, etc) to go to daycare. She's now five years old and has been going for daycare as well as boarding many times. The entire staff is super friendly, accommodating and you can tell they love dogs and most importantly, love my dog as one of their own. Kona knows as soon as we turn off of Longmeadow Parkway onto the 31 where we're going, and she gets so excited. We do a lot of traveling, and having the peace of mind that Kona is in the best of hands while we are gone is priceless.

The dog Waggin is the only place I recommend to all my friends, my German shepherd Loki loves going to day care and hates coming home, he is always well taken care of and gets the best care while he is there!

We love this place! They take such good care of our bulldog, he's always so happy and excited to be there. They also do grooming for a very affordable price compared to other places we have taken him. Staff is so friendly, professional, and the building is clean. They also like to post pictures on Facebook, as well as professional photo opportunities for "back to school" and meeting santa.

This daycare is beyond, and I mean BEYOND, amazing. They’re incredibly flexible and so kind. They are so easy to stay in contact with and they respond very quickly when you reach out to them. They have been so generous toward my family and they love my dog as much as I do. They knew his name from the very first day I brought him there. My dog likes to play HARD and he ends up caked in slobber most days lol. They always wipe him down with baby wipes when I pick him up in an attempt to save my car and house. The staff have always been incredibly friendly and the owners are great people. The prices are incredibly fair and I will be a customer there for as long as we own dogs.

This is an excellent place to bring your dog for daycare or extended stay while on vacation. They are also very diligent in responding to emergencies. I trust Dog Waggin with my beagle, it's definitely worth the long drive to bring her here.

My two fur babies just love going for day care as well as overnights. I highly recommend this doggie facility . What I like is that dogs are not caged and if it’s an overnight stay they have staff that stays with them so you know that they are it alone.The owners are fantastic and their staff is the best I’ve come across. They are all very caring. The owners are always reachable by phone If your looking for a great and safe place for your sweeties this is it.

The staff is consistently warm and welcoming to my dog, and then make sure to do everything they can to please the owners and keep the dogs happy. I love their no kennel policy . Whenever I bring my dog to the other dogs look very happy and lively and the staff is always attending to them petting them and cleaning after them. Whenever I pull into the parking lot my dog search to get really crazy happy and I can barely contain him going in. To me that is always a good sign that he loves it there. When I pick him up after a long vacation stay here, he always looks clean, well fed and happy. They will give you a discount for a stay that is longer than just a few days. To me that is the difference between bringing him here and another place . They did raise the price recently, so I would caution the owners to be careful not to raise prices because I know a lot of people go here because they are a little bit less expensive than the competitor. Seriously that would be my only feedback. Other than that this place is wonderful, and I would not trust my dog anywhere else.

If you want cage free this is the place. My dog is exhausted when I pick her up socializing is so stimulating. I always see Lucas there he is great. Everyone is friendly. Been going here for 3 years.

My dog, Bruiser, loves this place and so do I. Lisa, Mark and all the staff go above and beyond to make sure your dog has a great experience and everything they need. My dog goes both to daycare and been boarded there. He has been an incredibly happy camper at both. The owners and staff have worked very well with me when I have needed last minute accommodations for my dog. My only problem with Dog Waggin' is my dog never wants to leave!!!!

We inquired about boarding our pup here, wouldn’t let us tour the facility due to “Covid” but not a single person had a mask on. From the outside the play room looked tiny & not the cleanest. The reviews are what brought us to this place but we learned there was an ownership change, not too long ago so the reviews are actually connected to the previous owners. Not sure how the services are because we chose a different place as I was not comfortable leaving my pup there & not seeing any part of the facility.

Wonderful and professional, we brought our dog in for the first time and intend to bring him again. Dogs are kept in separate groups based on where they seem the most comfortable. They texted us multiple updates throughout the day, pictures included! When we picked him up, they provided us with a report card telling us how he behaved, and even who he made friends with!

This place is amazing and they are always so flexible with taking my dog. I feel like I'm part of their family because they always ask how my day is and know who I am and my dog. I would highly recommend to anyone.They also don't kennel dogs at night and someone is always there so I think this helps make the experience for my dog that much better.

We love the Dog Waggin and so does our pup! Lisa, Mark and staff are like family to us. My dog feels comfortable and safe and comes home a happy camper! We have been clients for about a year now and I would not take him anywhere else! I highly recommend!!

We love The Dog Waggin' so much! From day one our experience has been nothing but positive - We almost feel like we're dropping off our dog with family or friends. We love being able to just drop by and drop our pup off, knowing he is in good hands. What really works for us is how extremely flexible and accommodating they are.We love this place - but more importantly - our dog does, too. We have a giant (yet sensitive) Mastiff and every time we pick him up he is so happy, and tired, and we just know he had a good day running around. A tired dog is a happy dog :)The staff is extremely friendly and you can tell they really care about your dog and their well-being.We would HIGHLY recommend The Dog Waggin'!

Zero compassion. Her dog attacked my father's dog. She made no attempt to reach out to them to see how he was doing. To offer compensation. Nothing. What a joke that she is in the business of dogs. Then sends her son down to threaten my elderly father. Sick. DO NOT RECOMMEND If you want unbiased opinions walk up and down 108th Ave. Near Carney Island. Speak to her neighbors several of them can tell you about her and her professionalism. Which leads to overall what kind of human she is. Which I'd despicable.

The Dog Waggin is amazing! I love my dog (she's my baby!) and was so nervous about leaving her for the first time, but Lisa and Mark made me feel so comfortable. I got daily Facebook pictures and updates on how Taffy was doing, and she always looked like she was smiling and having fun. I highly recommend them to everyone!

I have known Lisa and Mark for several years thru working with dog rescues. After going there several times unannounced to check out the facility, I am so totally impressed with everything. No matter when I have gone, the place is always immaculate, the staff is caring and concerned with each and every one of the clients dogs. What a great place and amazing staff. My dog had a medical emergency and the Dog Waggin' team called, calmly told me the issue and offered to drive my dog to our vet so it could get helped right away. We are so grateful for their love and care.
