2.17.24: Recently moved here in the last few months and live around the corner from the Conkling Marina. Right now it's closed for the season, but I wanted to explore the area I live in and see what kind of views the marina has. This is not a review for the RV park, or restaurant, nor services offered.The view of the trees and CDA lake on the way to the marina was really nice. We decided to stop by around sunset as we were returning home from the local market. I didn't expect the marina to be huge and it wasn't. On this cold brisk day, some parts of the lake were looking glass-like and that was beautiful. The empty marina provided a great pic and in my opinion captured the winter vibe. Being a passenger in the car, I enjoyed the ride home more as I could see the trees and lake better from my side. Overall, I'm quite happy I live near the marina and could enjoy water close by during the summer.

Years prior we went here all summer long for lunch when we were out on the lake. Last year under new management it was awful. Tried again the other day hoping that the new owners would actually read the reviews from people and make some changes. No such luck. 26.00 fish and chips... ridiculous!! Only one other group of people, so business has to be suffering but still the owners aren’t paying attention. We will not be back. Very sad, it was one of the last great places on the lake.

$8.00 Michelob Light and $19.00 Hamburger…. we loved this place prior to new owners. Sad…. the change is not what is good for the south end of the lake. We frequent this place plenty of times during the summer but that will not be happening anymore

Yesterday was my first time here but based on comments the management and the menus of this place has been changed! If you come here, expect a fast food type of menue with yummy burgers and fries. The staff are very kind. Just know that sometimes they could be short in staffing and orders take a while to get to you. But again staff are very kind and caring.The golden ticket of this place was their live music! Depending on your luck with the band playing and the crowd you are here with, you can have one of the best nights of your life. You can dance it off with birds through sunset, rise of moon and stars. It was so good that I even forgot to take pictures.

They get two stars only because they had live music and the band was awesome!!!! The food was OK definitely not worth the over hour+ wait we had to wait and so limited. We had to ask several times just for somebody to take our order we never got any water refills I’m not a picky person because I get wait staff is overwhelmed and busy but they were not that busy every time we needed to drink we had to get up and go to the bar . We had to drive her boat back in the dark because it took them so long to get a couple of cheeseburgers and a couple of sandwiches out they forgot one of our orders we had to remind them constantly. Maybe go for a drink and watch the band do not recommend going here for dinner.

Great views paired with great food made for a very nice breakfast. Make sure you check the restaurant and marina on your next adventure. Ride the motorcycles over from Spokane for breakfast.

Conkling Marina was our go-to breakfast spot on the lake beginning in 2016. Loved the owners, staff and atmosphere. This is the second season for the new owners and they continue to miss the mark. After a dismal beginning this season we decided to give them a try last Sunday. Website states they have brunch on the weekend and open at 10am thru Oct 1. We arrived at 11am. They were just opening and our server said they stopped serving brunch last weekend. The couple in after us also wanted breakfast and was unaware of the change as well. The prices are high for the food you receive and options are limited. Our server, as all staff we have talked to, have been very friendly. Conkling was known as a friendly hopping place for a great meal and full of locals. Unfortunately more and more we find ourselves heading to Harrison and passing up Conkling Marina.

Friday, July 2022If we wanted a corporate experience, we would have stayed at the north end of the lake. Our family's favorite summertime, lakeside hangout has lost it's soul.Server placed cups with full fingers and thumb touching rims of our drinks. YUCK!2 servers didn't know restaurant hours of operation, nor which days they are open.Extremely limited menu options.Recorded VERY loud club dancing music. At 4:30 pm, we sat as far away from speaker as possible and we still couldn't talk to each other at the same table.We are so very disappointed in the new corporate owner's choices for change.Know your demographic.This is not what north Idaho needs.

Good food after a day on the lake. The have live music on Friday and Saturday night. The band was playing oldies, which isn't my preference but that's not the restaurant's fault. We had a new waitress (we were her first customers, ever) and the service was still great. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxed place to eat or grab drinks.

I camped in a tent -Nice place, clean bathroom and shower. Some spider webs and bugs but that’s to be expected.You park in the parking lot and carry your stuff down about 200 feet to the site.Check in was confusing. I got there after the store was closed. If you’re in the same situation I’d recommend walking down to the tent sites on the lake and looking for your name.

Lots of fun. Great view, environment and fun menu with consistent good food. Desperately need more servers as lunch was a 3 hour ordeal but the Club Sandwich, Fish and chips (fries), burgers are delicious.

This is a great place for anyone, families & folks without kids. They have great food & a bit of a night life. Kids are very welcome here. Live music on Friday & Saturday nights. I have seen many kids out dancing with their parents having fun. I have been coming here for several years. My family w little kids loves the beach & the live music. I enjoy the friendly atmosphere Conkling marina has been offering. Very relaxed, family like atmosphere. Always good service. Residents here are very respectful to others & the marina. I see lots of folks helping out their neighbors. 💕 spending my summer here. Good people & good place..

New General Manager, Sarah Pittin. Has a power trip. Food has changed, not for the better. Drinks are poor. Not consistent. And docks are not kept. Dont waste your gas in your boat to eat or drink here. Move on, many other Amazing places on CDA lake. Corporations are not good for CDA Lake. And especially with this general manager. Wish someone above her would reach out to people. Take a survey. See what locals think. Good Luck.

One the last ungentrified bays on the lake. Rustic and reminded me of a better time before the recent Covid migration of transplants.They had a cool band, nice restaurant, and a small marina. It won't stay this way for long. It will sell out eventually, so visit soon. Or don't, maybe your shouldn't visit at all, actually.

This place has changed hands, menu has changed from a down to earth back roads hearty food to a downtown Hollywood Hummus serving type menu, saw 4 different groups leave after viewing the menu. Why do people come in and change things from something that has been established for years to a California venue. This will cause their demise.

I have been there about 5 times by boat. I also have their mechanics winterize and summerize my boat. 5 stars there. It's a really great family marina. Great courtesy boat parking. The outdoor deck dinning is super dog friendly and good food. They seem to have a high turnover in servers so inconsistent service. Yesterday we had perfect service from the pregnant woman whom was very busy.

The staff could be a little more attentive to new customers. Drinks were pretty diluted but this place is usually better. Good atmosphere with lots of live music. 4th of July (set off on the 3rd) fireworks show is one of the best.

This places rocks ! Went to see the Hanker's for the close out of the summer out door concerts, it was awesome! Will be going back to have some more of the great food and enjoy the atmosphere soon. This is a hidden gem ; check it out !

My Husband and I were there with 2 other friends on a very busy Saturday night. I was amazed by how great the service was, and the food was outstanding! I had the sirloin, cooked to perfection and my Husband had the seafood totilinni that had tons of seafood in it and the sauce was delicious. We are definitely going back!

The French dip was terrible, one of the worst I ever had. Bun was stail and reminded me of a oversized hot dog bun. Meat was fatty and cold. That said, the restaurant was very clean and the service was great. Other than the French dip I enjoyed my visit. Next time I'm ordering the bison burger.

Always great food. Mid week, group of 8 and we had great service for lunch. We return here often during the summer, when they are open. Great view of lake. Inside and outside seating.

Amazing spot! Family friendly swim hole with a gradual drop off! Great restaurant with delicious adult beverages that can be carried to the beach. Cute convenience store with ice cream for the kids and a good selection of suds for the adults

One of the last family/locally owned and operated resorts on Cda Lake. Very friendly, laid back, and inviting place.Food is tasty and great portions, service is fast & friendly. Full bar, including good rotating craft beer choices. Plenty of seating inside & out on the deck. Sweeping views of Cda Lake.Owners are constantly working on upgrades and enhancements to the resort, including renovating cabins, and new covered docks.If you enjoy the serenity & peace of the old school resorts (before they were all gobbled up by the ultra exclusive golf course groups), then this is your last refuge.Highly recommended!

Parents keep a slip here and it's always been a fun experience.... until this year. Oversold the slips and moved to a "corporate greed" feel instead of a locally owned place. Don't waste your time.
