We take all of our pets to Dr Maura (cats, dogs, bunnies) and we appreciate her honest communication about what she can and cannot do (eg bunny spays). Great advice on pet dietary changes to prevent further vet emergencies - and she’s almost always managed to squeeze us in for emergencies or provide good advice over the phone. Bring a solo vet in a busy practice ain’t no joke. Keep up the quality care! We appreciate having you right in Victor.

Dr Maura saved my dogs life. He was sick, she did surgery, then sent him for Hyperbaric chamber treatment! That was 3 years ago, and my dog is still in great health and sees her yearly! Staff is friendly and helpful

Maura is a fantastic vet.The ladies at the front desk are fabulous, especially Carly.My dog has several health complications that are difficult and scary to deal with.Without Victor Vet I would be so lost and hopeless!They take the time to give my dog the care and attention he needs.They always get right back to me when I call or email with questions.Thank you VVC for helping keep my best friend healthy and by my side.

While I do not have animals at this time in my life, I have taken my elderly father’s animals to Dr. Maura when he has been too sick to get them there himself. Dr. Maura and her staff have treated my dad’s animals with kindness and expertise. I also take care of my daughter’s dog all summer; again, Dr. Maura has been excellent helping me out when I have a vet issue with one of these animals. I feel very lucky to have her in the Valley.

Victor Vet is the only place I have taken my two dogs over the past 15 years. I have had two very different dogs. Maura and her staff have helped me through each of my dog’s eccentricities, helped in emergencies, and provided above and beyond level care when it came time to say goodbye to our first dog. I know she’ll continue to provide excellent care for the life of our second dog.

Maura was an incredible vet to many of our animals when we lived in Teton Valley. Having someone not only care so deeply but also with such a strong knowledge of rabbit care was huge for our family. This vet helps out with multiple animal rescue organizations in that tiny community. To Rafel (below, giver of 1 star) who couldn’t get vet care while the vet herself was having major surgery, how entitled can you possibly sound? If your vet doesn’t take care of her own body, she can’t help your animals.

Impressed from the first visit. Dr. Maura and her entire staff have been wonderful from the first time I visited. Professional, knowledgeable, caring, friendly and helpful. In the short time we've been living here full time, I've been to this clinic for everything from a simple well-care visit to having to take my dog in for 2 surgeries and one dental. Each time they delivered wonderful care, took the time to talk to me, answer all my questions, and help me feel like my dog was getting the best care. Highly recommend!

Do not take your dog here. They do not take owner concern’s seriously. We brought my friend’s dog in for diarrhea, lethargy, lack of appetite, weakness and several other symptoms that had been on going. They didn’t even do blood work, they only did a direct fecal smear which is an incredibly unreliable test. Then they diagnosed her with ‘normal diarrhea’! (What kind of diarrhea is normal?) They then prescribed nothing more than probiotics. When we tried to push back and advocate for her dog they railroaded us, interrupting us and acting like our questions were idiotic. Obviously the probiotics did not resolve her dog’s symptoms and later on that week her dog was hospitalized with severe dehydration and elevated kidney values. She spent 2 nights in an emergency clinic. Turns out she has Addisons disease, which would never be fixed by probiotics. If proper treatment had been started sooner the emergency vet could have been avoided all together. I would implore anyone reading this review to look up the symptoms of Addisons, her dog had all of the common ones. I for one will not be returning.

Our early experiences have not been good and they have been very transactional. They sedated our dog twice for a simple procedure. He has never been an aggressive dog and has never bitten anyone or any Vet.He hasn’t acted himself since the 2nd visit and we feel there should be alternative options before sedation. I’d recommend driving over the pass before going here if it isn’t a dire situation.

Emergency ???Hospital ??? Don't think so. My dog has been refused treatment because ... he hasn't been regular patient. So why you call this place 'HOSPITAL' ?????? I suppose it looks good when you advertise. We called 4 times to get help but no, everytime no. Roads are shut because of the snowfall, you are the only place which can help, still no. Now I will let my dog to die because emergency place can't accept emergency cases. I hope you will be shut down sad imitation of vet care. Please avoid !!!!

If there was an option to give zero stars, I would have. Very unprofessional from the veterinarian, I had an emergency from my dog not breathing well and upon calling she was very rude. Screaming at her children while I’m trying to get some answers. The fact that she kept repeating that my dog was going to die and no other advice was given to what to do. I later on followed up with an email, there is when she commented she didn’t do consulting over the phone, I was wanting her to see my dog, I live forty minutes away from Victor and was on my way there. Time is everything and her poor quality of service and unprofessional almost cost my dogs life. Luckily Idaho Falla has a great hospital for animals and they were reliable and willing to help. I don’t recommend this place to anyone that loves there pets like family. I’ve lived my whole life in this valley and I’m disappointed by the this.From your response, that’s not true she never mention to take my dog anywhere. The poor connection… poor listening skills from what you call “the doctor” and Poot communication skills.

Maura saved the life of our aquatic turtle (please note we love our turtle AS MUCH as our dog!!) when we were about to go out of town.... This wonderful vet did the appropriate calculations to give the proper dosage of medication for our sweet and small turtle... Then worked with our neighbor who brought the turtle back for a check up while we were gone... Someone who cares this much and puts the extra effort in for small, exotic animals and saves their lives against all odds, is the best in the business, hands down!!

We had an emergency with our dog, the front desk staff were awesome at getting us scheduled during a busy surgery day, we were grateful. But, after being lectured and spoken down to by the veterinarian, without being able to get a word in edgewise to say thanks, yes we will, or anything... again reminded as well that we need to contact our own vet & how inconvenienced they were. I assure you we will call our own vet or any other before Victor Veterinary Hospital.

The staff at Victor Veterinary are awesome, I can't say enough good things about them! They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and dedicated. This past year they helped my old dog ease through the last year of his life, and helped my cat recover from an injury to her eye. I know when I take my animals to Victor Veterinary that they're getting the very best of care.

I CANNOT say enough good things about Victor Vet. I called in a panic at 11PM due to my pups eating some grapes I had dropped on the floor. She was willing to take a call super late on a Saturday and answer all of my questions. She walked me through how to go about taking care of my dogs and made me feel at ease. Dr. Maura Connolly Anderson and her team have always provided wonderful care for my dog. Yesterday she interupted her day with family to tend my Border Collie soon after the sweet pooch suffered a serious leg injury. This is a small veterinary hospital about mile away from downtown Victor, Idaho. My overall experience after my recent visit was excellent, the doctor was kind, patient and knowledgeable, it was very clean and the prices were acceptable.This vet is an asset for the community, highly recommended.

Jane and her staff have taken amazing care of all my fur babies for 14 years. We currently have 4... 2 dogs (one of which is epileptic) and 2 cats. We wouldn't consider taking them anywhere else. She has helped us with emergency visits and their regular care. In the past we have had to put down 2 of our animals and Jane and her staff were all so compassionate and caring! I highly recommend Victor Veterinary Hospital!!

I recently called to try to book an appointment for my pet due to his recent ear irritation. As soon as I asked for an appointment on Saturday the clinic representative told me they aren’t open on Saturdays. I then asked for availability on Monday and the representative asked if they have seen my pet before and I said no since we just moved to victor. The representative then stated “ we aren’t seeing new patients.” I am confused on how a hospital only runs with the same patients, I myself am a vet tech and I think it’s strange that the clinic isn’t open on Saturdays and how they don’t see new patients. I do not recommend trying to contact them if you haven’t been here before.

Love this Vet! Both doctors are amazing. Dr. Connelly was there for me when we had to say goodbye to our little pom Ringo. The staff was caring and wonderful. Grace had helped me with multiple medications for Ringo before he passed and went about and beyond by calling around to all the pharmacies to find his meds in the area for me. THEY ARE THE BEST!

This place is incredible! Not only did they take a last minute appointment when I was on vacation, but they helped me out again when I was home and couldn’t get into my vet to get more meds for my cat. Not to mention the vet was incredible with my cat. So kind and comforting. I wish I lived locally so that they could be my usual vet!

We had a minor Sunday emergency. The answering service jerked me around, repeatedly asking the same questions, names, addresses, regular vetrinarian for 11 minutes before I hung up in frustration. This may not be a fair review of their regular service. I don't like being called in on my day off either. All the office had to do was say, "we can't help you today. Try the Idaho Falls Emergency Vetrinarian," and I would have been satisfied.

I had to take my small dog here while on vacation. Thankfully they were able to see here right way. All of the staff were very friendly and the price for an emergency visit was very reasonable.
