Only willing to show appliances "if your serious". I wanted to see the appliance fully function and I brought up my skepticism because of all the negative reviews but still wanted to see the appliance. He just left the chat and blocked me.He says 90 day "repair" warranty. "It's a repair warranty and it covers everything on the stove but does not cover any abuse"Make your own judgment on his professionalism, customer service, and warranty.

DO NOT BUY from here!!! Got a fridge 3 weeks ago and it already stopped working for $560, save your money and buy it new instead. They are definitely not properly inspecting the appliances before selling them.The item might be working when you show up to see it but who knows after you take it home. Haha joke on us pretty much threw away that money, hopefully the business owner sleeps well at night knowing he’s screwing people over.

My daughter just bought a washer and dryer combo .. not only does he not honor his 90 day warranty. He will block your number when you call with a problem. Has got to be the most unprofessional business owner I have ever met. I will be pursuing this in court through small claims. As this seems to be an ongoing problem. If anyone would like to contact me. And also add there claim to mine, so this doesn't happen to anyone else. Please feel free to contact me. And I would love to help see this guy put out of business for his lies, and theft.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS.I purchased a used dryer believing our old one didn't work. I took him our old dryer and picked up the used one I purchased. Two hours later when I stopped to get screws for the cord from him, because the one's I had didn't work, he said the dryer wasn't broken, it had to be our electrical. I then fixed the electrical and asked him if I could get my old dryer back, I planned to keep the one I bought because I felt that was the right thing to do, but I wanted my job dryer back. He refused to give me back the "free" dryer I had dropped off with him and the used dryer I had purchased from him did not end up working, even after the electrical fuse had been replaced and the power was working fine. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS, MAN IS A CROOKED AND GREEDY PERSON.

I saw an Ad on Facebook and contacted Jim. He got back to me within 10 minutes. We went to go look at the book case/ china cabinet the next morning and purchased it. It looks beautiful in our home!Jim was very helpful andpleasant to deal with.Will do business with, again!

I got a used washer and dryer from him. I had used this place in the past and had no issues. They say they warranty their stuff and this set I bought is leaving rust on all my white clothes and not washing underwear or clothes at all like a good washer should. I messaged them about it and was told I could load it up and take it to an address for repair. I have no husband or man to help me and it’s down stairs and I do not have a truck to load it up in. I’ve never heard of a home appliance warranty that they don’t come to your house. I have had the washer for less then one month. I asked if I could exchange it and was told that’s not how it works. I can understand this but being told I have to bring a washer to them for service when they delivered it! Bad business is what I call this! I will never do business with this guy again.

Worst customer service ever!!! Don’t waste your time to go there, super rude and disrespectful towards his customers. Using profanity towards customers and children. Tried starting a fist fight with one of his customers because we didn’t purchase an item! All appliances were trashy and not well taken care of, one of the fridges was full of some type of liquid. I do not recommend at all!! Worst person ever!!

Okay, this might be a long review! First of all, we bought a fridge from Jim off of the Facebook marketplace. When we plugged it in, the fridge didn't work. That's when I googled the place and saw SO many bad reviews! I freaked out and was worried that we just paid $300 for a fridge that didn't even work. I called Jim and he not only delivered a replacement fridge, but he also took our old one which saved us money since we didn't have to take it to the dump! We really appreciated that! Not ONLY that but HE WAS SO NICE!!!! Those other people reviewing must have dealt with a different Jim. Our Jim was kind and understanding! P.S our new fridge does work!

Jim was very rude. I went to look at some of the furniture and asked if I could come back with my husband so he can see it too and he told me to not come back and that I had my chance. Also tried asking him questions about the a piece of furniture and he just walked out. Terrible customer service.

I bought a washer and dryer here, and honestly i thought i got super lucky! I was super happy to finally be able to buy a washer and dryer for my home, second hand used but im a single parent and money is tight so i jumped at it plus he offered delivery for a small fee i have a car so that was a plus. Please learn from me save your money amd get elsewhere. My dryer stoped working after 8 dries, and my washer started leaking aftet a month he does offer a 90 day warranty but its not worth the fuss especially when you have to drive it to a guys house to get it fixed, i have a car so i couldnt take them to get fixed. So i got stuck with a messed up washer and dryer. Now i have to save up again and buy new ones soon hopefully!!

Jim, the owner told me to stop wasting his time when I was asking him questions about the washer/dryer set he had for sale...am not sure how I as a customer inquiring about products that you as an owner have listed for sale is wasting your time, but I was interested in buying it, I just needed to make sure it would fit in our space. I suppose if you can be so picky as to tell customers to not buy from you then you must be doing okay in these times, but imagine how MUCH better it would be if you treated customers and potential customers with kindness and respect.

We went to buy a stove and received horrible service. The owner was rude and insulting. We were ready to buy a stove but because of his poor behavior we walked out. As we were leaving we were told "if you leave, don't come back." This man is the truest definition of ***hole and does not deserve to own a business. There are better places to spend your money with much higher quality of mechandise.

I have rental properties in Twin Falls Idaho. My tenant had their dishwasher go out so I looked on Facebook I happen to see a dishwasher for sale and it was snake River that was selling it. I purchased it from him and sent my tenants in to look at it to make sure that they would be OK with it he charge me a fee to come out and install it once he found out my tenant had a truck he tried to ask them to install it themselves and he would give them the money that their landlord paid him so they could install it. They thought that might be voiding any type of warranty. Anyhow very unprofessional the unit did not work he thought and argued with my tenant told me she was rude and he was going to teach her a lesson and then the machine did not work and he demanded they pull it out bring it into him and he would get it working I wound up just buying a unit from Lowe’s and he did not want to refund my money but kept the unit. When I spoke with him I could not believe what kind of a business person I was talking to he wound up at the end offering me back half of my money the other half to restock the item I highly recommend you be very cautious when doing business deals with the owner of snake river appliances. But also to get my house back I had to physically Go into his store and catch him there because he did not want to take my calls. Be careful.

I bought a washing machine from this store and I was told it works great. Ran the first load of clothes (small load) in it and immediately it began to shake violently. No matter how well I tried to balance the clothes in the machine the issue persisted. I also began to smell an electrical burning smell from the machine.

Read all the reviews and I have no idea how this business received a 5 star rating at any time. Doesn't deserve a DIME of anyone's money.

Contacted him on Facebook and asked where his shop was located as I was interested in seeing an item. I was told I could see it when I was ready to purchase it. When I told him I wanted to see it first, I got notified that "he left the group" which I guess means he won't be responding to any more messages. Hell of a way to run a business. I guess it doesn't bother this guy that nobody even wants to give him 1 star. Which is fine. It doesn't hurt anyone but himself.

I really hate giving a 1 star review. But when you go online to sell your appliances and DON"T want people to know who you are, or your business, that's very concerning. I asked who the guy is and the business name if I ever had a problem during the 1 month warranty, and he got very mad at me for even asking! I told him I was concerned about his reviews, and instead of assuring me they were false or he would do better, he just replied "go f yourself" and cut off communications with me. So here I am posting this lovely review. I wish he would realize that you can't treat customers like a dirty washing machine. I would not recommend this business. Sorry Henry, I hope you have a better day and that you'll turn your customer service around. You'll succeed more if you do.

Don't always rely on others feedback and reviews. I personally know from past careers that people are quick to post negative reviews on a business they didn't have a good experience with, where as those who had a good experience seldomly jump online to rave about their positive transactions.Have talked to Jim @ Snake River Furniture in the past when looking for affordable furniture when we bought our house. He wasn't rude to me then, nor was he unpleasant when I just met with him to purchase a couch. Good business, short and sweet. Those who have purchased appliances should always understand used electronics are hit or miss. Furniture is more of "what you see is what you get." I'm a satisfied customer. Good deal for a good hide a bed.

Don't buy from this guy who gets upset if you ask any questions about his business. I asked what his business is and who to call if I have issues. He was very short with me when I told him I was concerned about his reviews. Instead of assuring me of his quality and commitment to service ....he told me "go f yourself"So that's why I'm posting this. I would not recommend doing business with a guy like this.

Had an unfortunate experience with these individuals in IF. They brought a washer that didn't work. Which is fine, decided to not exchange the washer but return it as Snake River Furniture states they have a 30 day return policy. They picked up the washer, and pushed my wife to not get a receipt of return from them and just to trust them that they would return the money as soon as it was processed by our bank. Two weeks passed without any return. I put in a claim through my bank, the bank contacted Snake river furniture and they stated that they never received the merchandise. Currently I cannot recommend this company . Hopefully they turn things around.

Would give negative stars if possible. Jim sold us a washer which he said runs smooth and works great. He delivered it and we tried to wash clothes later that day but the thing wouldn't turn on. All the buttons on the control panel didn't work, if they did it activated a different button. Can't change the spin speed, water temperature, nothing. I did get it to do 1 cycle and it activated the extra rinse cycle which i couldn't change because the buttons don't work and when it was done, the washer left the clothes so wet you couldn't put them in a dryer, they had to be squeezed first. He told us we had a 14 day waranty, I called him and he told me we were being too picky. So I told him we would try it some more and if I could call him back to the next week to see if he was coming to Idaho Falls so he could take it back. Now he won't return my phone calls or texts, which I've called well over 20 times. He won't answer either phone. He knows he sold me a piece of crap which is why he won't return my calls. We had another appliance going out that was covered under warranty and that repair man to a look at the beauty Jim sold me and showed me that the bearings were going bad and it wouldn't have lasted much longer anyways. Bottom line is you can't trust this guy. He is dishonest and he doesn't care. DON'T buy from this guy. If he sells you something make sure you get a receipt. If I don't hear from him soon, I'll be reporting his store to the Better Business Bureau and filing a police report with my local law enforcement.

Just moved to Idaho falls and was in need of a decent washer and dryer for our rental. There were TERRIBLE options in Idaho falls, that all wanted a bunch of money. We found an ad on Facebook for a washer and dryer set and I could not have been happier with the customer service Henry from Snake River Appliance gave me. He delivered to my home, and even set them up for me because my husband was out of town and I desperately needed them working right away. He was very friendly and very professional. I would recommend him to anyone that I know. Thank you Henry!

Came to look at some chairs and they were in poorer condition than advertised so I said I wasn’t interested. He then went on a tirade cursing me and telling me to get out of his store. I couldn’t believe it! This guy is an absolute jerk and I would not recommend doing any business with him.

I called about a used fridge. My family and I needed one for a food booth at the fair in Burley, Idaho. He was very rude. He wouldn't answer my questions without an attitude. He hung up on me twice and told me he wasn't talking on the phone if I wanted to see what he had I had to go online and then hung up on me. If I could post a negative amount of stars I would. Very disappointed. He shouldn't be a business owner.

Seems like theses people don't know the first thing about customer service. I live about 20 miles away from their store and was interested in a washer and dryer set they had for sale. When I inquired for additional detail Jim's wife Carnie was very rude when I asked for additional details i got told "everything is in the ad" Well it wasn't, no load capacity, model number, age, etc. I reached out to Jim and asked for the model numbers on the set I liked so I could do my due diligence in familiarizing myself with the product I was considering purchasing and he refused to provide it. He didn't even care that it was a deal breaker for me. The owners should really learn some customer service since they are operating in a service industry.

I am not sure what experience these others had, I had a great experience. Jim delivered my washer and dryer the same day I called and it was a Sunday. He even had to take my door off the hinges for it to fit in. Hooked it up and made sure all was running before leaving. It has only been a week and so far so good but my experience with him was very pleasant, machines are clean and price was great.
