Sam is incredibly knowledgeable and has amazing customer service. I couldn't believe how low the prices were compared to the other fish stores and even online. He definitely makes the hobby more affordable and he's been able to order me everything I've asked. Don't waste your time going to any other store just go straight to Prevailing Tide Aquatics!

Excellent customer service! The owner is great and very knowledgeable. He has helped us so much with getting our tanks to where they needed to be. Without his knowledge and wonderful pricing we wouldn't have the tanks we do today.If he doesn't have what you're wanting, he does everything he can to get you what you need as quickly as possible.Best pricing and customer service in town.

Excellent service. No exceptional service! Very knowledgeable staff! Super low prices! Impressed everytime I go in. If I need something and it isn't in stock, it has been put on order, and I am notified immediately on its arrival.I have purchased about 20 fish for my new tank. All healthy and beautiful. I am excited to say, this is my LFS (local fish store)!

Great store, great service, remote or in person. Has the best prices I’ve seen domestically on all things aquariums. Service is hard to believe with these prices. Puts the big guys to shame. Stop and visit even if just to browse and have a conversation!

Sam is a very successful reefer with a huge passion to the hobby and making it affordable for all. You will not get any better deals in town and can literally get you just about anything you need at a better price than you'll find online or at any LFS thats even remotely close to here. Sam specializes in APEX systems and is always there to help. If it weren't for him I would have quit this many times over. Sam does business the right way and treats his customers like family. Looking to get into the coral/tropical fish hobby? Look no further!

I can't say enough good things about Sam and Prevailing Tide Aquatics. Even though I am hundreds of miles away, in SC, I can tell you, without any doubt, my 2 tanks would not be up and running without him. I have a 60g reef and 150g FOWLR with Apex system. It's an older classic I bought used. I reached out to numerous local people and no one could help me. Sam, spent several hours over several video calls, remoted in to my Apex and got my tanks up and running. You WILL NOT find better care and customer service than from Prevailing Tides.

His prices are very low. You get great deals on fish. RODI water .50 cents for 5 gallons is great. If you need something he does not have it he gets it for you. He will not sale something you ordered to someone else he holds it for you.

Went in to store and person working in the store new absolutely nothing about fish or what they even were. Gave us prices on fish then had to change price because he talked to the owner and had wrong fish with wrong price. Worker did not know which fish were reef safe and which were not. Not satisfied with our experience

Fun little shop doing big things, best guys to help with apex. Can do water testing and can order anything you need for your reef tank.
