This is such a fantastic project! We feed & TNR 3 colonies of cats including one at the fairgrounds. The one at the fairgrounds is a huge colony. We have done this for many years but since retiring it has become increasingly difficult buying this much food. It was indeed a God Send to find out about Hand & Paws! The fairgrounds kitties were cats left by the jockeys when horse racing was still going on. When they shut down horse racing the jockeys all left their unspayed and neutered cats behind to fend for themselves and multiply. We have now gotten most of them fixed and healthy with a constant supply of food! Thank you, thank you for helping us help these beautiful kitties!

Hand and paw are an amazing! I rescued a kitten who had a broken leg: financially I was not in the position to pay for the much needed surgery alone. This organization not only helped w the lions share of the cost, they checked in on us, brought my kitty a recovery gift and visit. The organizers were professional, kind, efficient and an absolute godsend. I wish I was in a better position to help them and their mission financially but if you are, please do not hesitate, they are exactly who they say they are. Thank you again hand and paw

Hand and Paw is an awesome Non-profit with carring volunteers willing to help..Due to unfortunate circumstances my dog needed an ACL repair.. A month later had Acute Hemorrhatic Syndrome.. The 2 VET bills left my family really struggling (at Christmas) and worrying about dog food.. The pet food pantry save us from worrying about how to feed Mocha..THANK YOU !

When my husband lost his job, we couldn't feed our cats. A neighbor told me about this pet pantry at Life springs Church in Star Idaho. I was able to get enough food to get me through most of the month for my pets! You show up. And register and then they get you what you need. Be prepared to stand in line for up to a couple hours. Sometimes I bring lawn chairs.

This is an amazing organization with even more amazing people. We are a family with 6 furbabies. We are both currently out of work due to health issues and are in the tightest financial spot we've ever been in. We didn't know what to expect but we knew we needed help. We attended a first Saturday of the month distribution. We were met with genuinely friendly, kind and nonjudgmental smiles all around. We were asked what animals we had and what we needed help with. We asked for a couple of types of things and were then asked if we needed help with other things. We waited a little bit while items were gathered and we were then helped to our car. We were dumbfounded and sat in mostly stunned silence on the way home. We were blessed with enough help that we had the weight of worry for our furbabies removed from our shoulders for at least a month. I could never have imagined the kindness and physical help we received. Our hearts were unbelievably full and we are so very grateful. The smiles and kindness we received, we'll I have no real way to express the incredible impact you've had in our lives. We are forever grateful.💜 May God richly bless you as you have blessed us. Hand & Paw is an amazing dedicated group. They give so much to the community while asking for nothing in return. They care so much for animals (and people) - the work they do is inspiring. Hand & Paw has done amazing work helping animals of all types! Food drives, bedding, clothing... you name it, they help with it. They are always so friendly and appreciative of the help they receive. This was Jesus working in our lives through Hand and Paw! Wonderful people who saved our Bubba!. Bubba started having grand Mal seizures few months back. We manage to get some samples of Kappa pills that worked for him. Needless to say we been down on our luck lately and just couldnt come up with all the funds we needed for the pills let alone the office visit. Hand & paw was there for us along with caldwell vet Dr Daniel Mc connel. We are very grateful and cannot say enough about either one. Highly recommended.Thank you so much for saving our best friend.
