Do not order balloons here. Placed an online order for a balloon bouquet for my son's birthday. Next day I came to pick it up and they had substituted the entire bouquet for a singular little balloon. Absolutely a clown show.

This is one the best Albertsons around. The people are super helpful and friendly. They work hard to provide excellent customer service with every visit. It is refreshing to go into a clean stocked friendly store after a busy day at work. Thank you Albertsons Star for that you do!

The new Albertsons in Star is really amazing. Well designed and stocked. An easy-to-navigate produce section, with a surprisingly well appointed cheese bar, leads into an expansive wine selection. The marketplace vibe really ads to the hometown feel of the new store. Really well done.

As I’m writing this right now. My husband had put an online order for 2 items. Hot pockets and a fruit bowl. The online order said there was a substitute for the fruit and I accepted it and we got a notification that our order was ready. My husband leaves pick it up. He shows up and it says the hot pockets were out of stock. Well we went there yesterday and they were pretty stocked up. So my husband walks in and he finds hot pockets in the freezer isle that miss Amanda who did our online order, wanted to say we’re out of stock. My husband brought the box to customer service and the man had to go find Amanda. Well where was Amanda you may ask. She was on break eating her lunch. So much to be in a rush she didn’t even provide us a online order my husband had to go pick it off the shelves himself and the customer service dude still had the audacity to tell him he has to pay for it again after we already paid 30 dollars. Miss Amanda came out from the back loooking irritated my husband and customer service man disturbed her lunch because she decided to not provid us our items when going to pick them up. This is such poor and sad customer service and this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced bad situations with this store and their employees. The manager should be doing something to address this employees Amanda’s actions. I expected a lot more from Albertsons.

Be careful of the Albertsons so called deals even on the app! I went in and bought a whole rib roast for what I thought was a great deal for $4.87 a pound. What the deal and U coupon doesn’t say, unless you really dig into it is that you have to purchase much more before you get that deal. I spent $160 on it and they wouldn’t honor it unless I spent another $50. Also I asked the meat department to cut it in half and he said that the deal will not be honored.“That’s what meat department is supposed to do!!

Alex in the Deli Department is an excellent Employee. He is always polite and has a Great Attitude. He is an asset to your Store. Rob in the Front End is also another Great Employee. You lucky to Have them both working for you.

I come in after work a lot, and Michelle is absolutely one of the greatest treasures for your company! She is always kind, always remembers your face, and I have never seen her have even a bad moment. She has genuine love for the people around her and her customers, and I enjoyed so much getting to have a moment to talk with her tonight. But I have noticed her for so long and I just wanted to give her a huge shout out! I hope that the management sees this, because she is a very special person and has such a wonderful sense of people. She is such an addition to your company, and she needs to be recognized for that. I know she would never ask for recognition, she's just the way she is, kind and loving and expects nothing in return. But I would love it if her boss lets her know how wonderful she is because she really is. She is the kind of employee we should all strive to be, and the kind of person we should all strive to be. Thank you Michelle!

11 July 2023 - 5 StarsWhile traveling (5 hours from home), I realized I had forgotten a special medication I needed. The Pharmacist (Brown) went out of his way and took care of my needs - very quickly and professionally. Thanks! Will make my trip much better now!!

I live near Albertsons and shop here occasionally, especially when I need something on the spur of the moment. Today, I came in with my grandsons and picked up a few items, including two bags of grapes which were on sale for 98 cents/lb. I went through the self-check as usual, punched my phone number into the terminal and scanned my grapes. They rang up at $2.99/lb instead of .98/lb. I called the woman who was there to assist customers in self-check over and explained what had happened. She told me the price was wrong because I didn't use the digital coupon on the app. My fault. I have shopped at Albertsons stores for years and have gotten used to just plugging my phone number in. I've never downloaded the app.The woman seemed unsure of herself but said she could correct the error and keyed in something at the terminal. She then told me the price was fixed and went to help another customer. When I looked at the credits she had keyed in on the receipt, they were wrong. The initial price charged for the grapes was approximately $15. She had keyed in credits amounting to about $5. It appeared that instead of backing out the $2.99/lb and keying in $.98/lb, she had just credited .98/lb, which resulted in me still being charged double the listed price of the grapes.That woman was now busy with another customer, but another employee had entered the self-check area, ostensibly to assist, so I called her over.I explained what had happened, showed her the incorrect original scans and credits for the grapes and showed her on my phone calculator that I had added up the weights for the grapes and multiplied by .98 giving the correct price for the grapes, which amounted to about $5.She also looked confused and told me she had to fix the error her way. I said, okay, I'm just showing you what the correct price should be. She then started raising her voice at me and told me I was getting excited. Interesting since she was the only one raising her voice. I told her I wasn't excited at all; I was just showing her the correct price. She proceeded to get louder, and told me I was being rude. Really?? It was obvious that she had no more grasp of basic math than the first woman. Neither one of these women belongs in an area requiring rudimentary math skills. And the second woman could also use a class in customer service.Thankfully, we have lots of options in and around Star for grocery shopping. I won't be doing mine at Albertson's.

My app never matches up with my receipts even though I’m using the same phone number for everything. I keep getting told to call customer service, but they are not helpful at all and Louie sounded like he was walking outside in the wind and could barely hear or understand him. Not impressed with Albertsons and will probably only go back if something is needed in a pinch. I’m giving 2 stars because the store is neat and the people in-person are always friendly. Just very disappointed with how poor the app functions as well as the customer service for the app.

Store layout is really nice but the Pharmacy never answers their phone. As in never... And their voicemail isn't set up either. So the only want to get in touch with a Pharmacy staff member is to drive 10 miles (which is how far I live) to the store. Not good... I am keeping my business for the one in Caldwell even though it is a farther drive or Ridley's in Middleton. Much better customer service at the other locations.

Typically the Albertsons in Star is one of my favorite locations to shop, but today was a very different experience. I was returning a small unopened package of diapers. Their brand and with a reciept. The older woman who was I’m assuming a cashier by the way she was complaining about a customer she was helping I think before she realized I was behind her and asked me what I needed and I told her. I rushed out of the house this morning so I wasn’t very put together, but I had my receipt and was waiting patiently so I was confused why her tone initially assumed that I didn’t have a receipt when I mentioned that I was going to return the diapers. She barked to the customer service woman what I paid for the diapers and that they were on sale.Acting as if the woman working customer service was illiterate, but she seemed very capable to me. The older woman made one last statement saying that the woman in customer service is the manager in that department yet I didn’t feel like she was treating her like so. Based off the rude older woman’s tone, body language, and overall way she was treating me I felt like I was doing something wrong or like they thought I was trying to steal something and it wasn’t until I asked the woman working customer service, if there was a certain time frame for returning an item andas i hadnt seen any return information on the receipt, but I had looked before coming into the store. She explained that they are “iffy” about return baby items, but since the diapers were unopened and it wasn’t formula, or any kind of food she was fine with doing the return. I feel like the older gal who seemed to have a chip on her shoulder should take a couple classes in humility and being a kinder human being if she’s going to continue to work with the public. Less dismissive behavior and more customer service thats memorable in a good way and also not openly trash talk customers or at least not where other customers can overhear and be made super uncomfortable before ive even interacted with her. It was apparent she does not enjoy her job and was extremely unprofessional before she even spoke to me. If they wouldve told me their policy i would’ve completely understood, but I had to be the one to ask, because of the way i was being treated and didn’t understand why. Albertsons is a company with quality products. Just disappointed that all employees don’t seem to hit that mark as well.

Whoever was working the wine section on 4/17 in the afternoon (middle aged blonde woman) needs to learn customer service. Was extremely rude and all over the place with my grandma and I when we asked for “low carb wine”. She was frustrated and practically yelled “there’s no such thing as low carb wine! Only sugar is in wine! We only have low sugar wine here!” And I couldn’t believe it, but I had to explain to this woman that carbs ARE sugar. It’s the same thing. Yet even then she STILL was arguing with us about it. Hopefully Albertsons can educate this woman to be a nicer employee and one that learns carbs are broken into glucose (sugar) in the body. Couldn’t believe it. We were both stunned. Last time we’re buying wine there, that’s for sure!

I knew it was 8$ or something like that, but today I went in and didn't catch the guys name he didn't even tell me the price! you're supposed to right?! If you're the manager, lead by example. Mk.

The new Albertson's in Star is open, and my first visit knocked me out! I love the way the store is organized. The produce is beautiful, and there are lots of organic and healthy products on the shelves throughout the store. Well done!
