Staff is very rude and when they don’t like something that is said then they will have people text and call to threaten you to stay out of spirit lake. Brought everything up to the manager and she was not helpful and she was very rude herself. We get the daughter of the owner to talk to us and she says that she is hopeful to be taken care of in house when in reality nothing was done and the threats continue. We have all the messages that we have been threatened and this store feels that it is ok. I do not recommend this store to anyone.

Lots of food not checked for freshness, some deli food was discovered to be over a month past expiration date. Management very unprofessional. Instead of problem solving issues, managment instead leaves scathing notes. Managment and owners expect workers to be at work 15 minutes early and to stay after closing (up to 15 minutes) but are not paid in any way for that extra 30 minutes of work. Staff are written up by managment/owners for not doing all of their job, but are not fully trained to do their job. Owners expect staff to ignore customers and acknowledge owners when they enter store regardless of how disrespectful it is to paying customers. All in all this store owners need to be brought up to date on proper managment and interpersonal relations as well as needing to have a better understanding of the legal obligations of owning/operating a business.

Don't shop here. Understanding supporting small businesses, but the owners don't pay there employees hours they work and take employees money if someone steals alcohol or if an employee writes down alcohol sales wrong.
