This A&W definitely has seen worse days, it seems to have some good management and on the way up! Wait time wasn’t even maybe 10 minutes, the customer service was actually really well. The food was very very good. The lobby was clean, and the staff stayed home on top of cleaning the lobby as guests would leave. We definitely are happy to see this place turning around! Also very big plus they’re the only place open on Sunday!

Full transparency: I am a DM for a competitor back home.Stopped into this a&w last week when I was in town for a wedding. The experience at this store was impressive. The store was ridiculously clean (and I’m a hard sell) and the food was hot and fresh, but the customer service is what really set this place apart. Even busy, the gentleman who was helping me (Braydon) was attentive, had great attention to detail, and even took a few minutes to help me with directions on how to get to the hall I was headed to. If I didn’t live many states away, I would’ve poached this man for my own business! He even took the time to come out and tell me about some of the things to see while in town. The order was correct, fast, hot and the atmosphere made me want to come back. Whatever you’re doing in Soda Springs, keep it up!

The new crew working there has absolutely put forth tremendous effort to turn a&w/taco time into a fine and worthwhile eating establishment. Liz and her Co worker Brayden were incredibly polite and helpful. The food was fresh and service was quick and amazing. Huge shout out to the team they have working there now. Keep it up guys!! Also it's good to see empanadas back in action! They were delicious!

This place used to be awful with burn out Staff inconsistent hours of operation, locking The doors way earlier than the close time said, and they constantly were out of things And it didn’t seem clean… I recently broke down and decided to give them another try, because they are one Of the only restaurants open in soda And they had new management on there Billboard so I thought it couldn’t hurt to give them another try and hope And they had crispy bean burritos in stock and let me tell you to say that I was absolutely shocked is a complete understatement. The lobby is clean. The staff are professional and kind They said they have a new general manager named Liz and assistant manager named Braydon And whoever’s doing the hiring now did it right because I went from swearing that place after having to wait 40 minutes for a burger and fry months ago to getting my food in record times hot Fresh and with a smile, I was able to sit down and enjoy it in a clean lobby and now this is our go to! This is 100% better than it was Establishment that I can get behind Spending my hard earned money at! Me and my friends saw both the managers, encouraging the employees to Check the lobby and the assistant manager even came out And made sure that we were enjoying our meal! If you’re looking for A hot fresh hangover burger on a Sunday or a quick bite this is 100% the new hang out! I work out at the mine, and when people ask me where they can grab a quick bite I automatically point them in A&W’s direction because I know it’s fast and good! Word travels fast in a small town. Keep up the good work!

I live in town and this location has had historically bad service in my experiences. Today I decided to give them another try fully expecting to have more of the same horrible service BUT I was wrong! They asked for my order as soon as I pulled up to the menu in the drive thru! The manager is trying to turn things around there and It was extremely evident! Her name is Liz! My food was out the window within a few minutes of paying for my order. It was so refreshing! Go give them another try if you have been like me and just gave up on this place.Congratulations keep it up!

Date of Visit: 5/25/2019OVERVIEW - 4.50Came here with my wife as we were running some errands in Soda Springs.LOCATION - 5This A&W is located along Main Street which is pretty central in Soda Springs so has the potential for lots of traffic.PRICE - 5A&W Prices are rather reasonable as you're getting something typically cheap.PRODUCTS/SERVICES - 4I ordered a Sweet Pork Burrito. It was already, but to be honest, I've had better at other Taco Time locations. I was extremely disappointed however that their famous A&W Root was out of service, which I bet meant that they were out of syrup.POINTERS/PERKS - N/AThere probably are pointers and perks, but I'm not sure what they'd be, as I don't go here or A&W that often.EMPLOYEES - 4The employees were friendly and all, but got a weird vibe from them.

We arrived at around 7:30. There were a few other people there waiting for their orders, one or two people showed up around the same time to order. It took over 20 minutes for our food. Nothing was the same price as was advertised or consistent with other things we ordered. One milk shake was $2 one was $4. Same sizes. Waited over 30 minutes for our food. It was burnt, $2 more then the menu shows, didn’t have the same things as the photos and in total wasn’t worth what it was advertised as.

Just stood there waiting for two drinks for 30 minutes while they made other people's drinks that came in after I placed my order. I already had my food so all I needed was two drinks. The lady at the register kept leaving to do something on the other side of the store. My money returned would be fantastic but I do not expect it from a small town place. Biggest waste of money and time. Should not take 30 minutes for a fast food place to make up a cold burger and fries with 2 drinks.

Stopped taking orders 15 minutes before close. Really just lacking any sense of urgency and customer service. Not entirely sure how this place is still in business to be honest.The little white trash kid working tried kicking us out two minutes before close. The manager calmed us down a little but unless that kid is fired, this place will be out of business in no time.

Not enough staff to take care of the lunch rush. Waited about 10 minutes just to order. Only 2 ladies working and the drive thru was busy. Staff was nice though. Oh, and while eating, the two ladies were MIA while a timer was going off for 5 minutes. Don't waste your time!

This place is a big joke. Two days ago I came and sat at the drive-thru and never got helped, I sat there for 10 minutes, nothing. Yesterday when I pulled in the girl said it was going to be a 20 minute wait to get food, so I left. Now today I just wanted a root beer float and they're out of root beer A&W out of root beer, haha they might as well just close that place down, it's a joke, don't come here.

We rolled in around 6:30 on a Friday night. We had a party of 9 and ordered a good amount of food. Both Hunter and Jessica (the manager) were courteous, efficient and accurate. They truly went above and beyond to take care of not only our large crowd, but also the orders from others that came after ours. Top notch service, accurate delivery of the food, and it was delicious to boot. We will be returning the next time we pass through Soda Springs!

We stopped in today to get some swirls, but there was only 1 person working there, that poor girl was not happy which I don't blame her at all, I don't know what her name was but she differently needs a big raise , trying to take orders and cooking, we went in there 7-23-23 around 5:30 p.m., hopefully that'll help you to praise this young lady that she deserves, we just couldn't wait that long for her to serve us

Being a General Manager of the Fast Stop is rewarding and I genuinely enjoy my job. I know our A&W/Taco Time has had struggles in the past with bad reviews, slow service and not very well prepared food. This is something I am trying my best to change. The store and Restaurant is much cleaner and getting organized. It will take some time to get this all turned around. I promise to do my very best to make this a place people will enjoy coming to again. Give us a chance to get things all figured out. Thanks in advance.

The head sets have been broken for over a year. I have quit going here until today. Headset still broken. It took 10 minutes to order a cheeseburger. Why doesn't corporate fix the head sets and outside menu. I live here it would be nice to have a drive up that works.

Every-time we go there they mess up our order no matter what it is. Today I had my boyfriend get me four bean and cheese burritos with no onions and to add sour cream. I was on the phone with him when he ordered to make sure he got it right (I am pregnant) he got home I checked and there were only two burritos with onion and sour cream. He went back and tried fixing the order and she argued with him that we were wrong. SHE READ THE ORDER BACK TO HIM TWICE WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE AND STILL GOT IT WRONG. Whenever I order burritos from there it ALWAYS has been wrong. It also took over 20 minutes to make the food. This was really irritating. The fact that he had to buy TWO more burritos on top of the four we bought because she says he was wrong. EVERY-TIME they mess up and I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt.

We were passing through Soda Springs, Idaho and went through the drive-thru. I have to say our cashier, Justin, was the most pleasant person I have ever ordered from! Our order was perfect and the food was great! I was highly impressed with Justin!! Great guy!!! He's a keeper A&W!

TERRIBLE!!I've been hearing for a few months that there's new ownership, and this place has really turned around. The Soda Springs A&W/Taco Time has always had a bad stigma attached to it, because former owners haven't cared too much to make it a nice, respectable fast food joint. I tried it once in 2013 when I first moved here, and vowed to never eat there again.With all the positive talk, I decided to give it my first try in 7 years, but ohh man, was I disappointed!!!!First issue is that I ordered one A&W kids meal and asked for chocolate milk.... nope, all out. Ok, I'll take a root beer. No, they don't have any...............Really?? The A&W ROOT BEER RESTAURANT doesn't have ANY A&W Root Beer?! More than a little annoyed, I asked what caffiene free options they had available..... Water. They had water. I then asked if it would at least lower the price, since no drink could be provided with the kids meal. No, sorry. I was literally told that I would get charged regardless.I was on a time crunch, and didn't really have another choice at that moment, so, incredibly irritated, I continued with my order. I ended up ordering the 3 PC cod basket for myself, and cheese quesadilla for my son, as well as cheese curds for us all to share.When I got to the window I remarked about how surprising it was that they were out of root beer, and was told "yeah, it's Memorial Day Weekend", with an uncaring shrug. It was the Friday preceding the holiday, before 5 pm. Memorial Day Weekend had literally only just BEGUN. So, that was the poor excuse they were told to use to cover for the owner, who had EXTREMELY poor planning....? Wow.It took me almost 10 minutes after I ordered to get my food- and they weren't busy AT ALL, BTW. The restaurant part of the convenience store was completely dead. Again, it was before 5pm, on the Friday before Memorial Day, but I guess I beat the dinner rush....And when I FINALLY got my food, had thought about it long enough to ask about the fact that since I was paying for a kids drink, I was sure the C-Store they were openly attached to had individual cans of soda for sale, and couldn't they just go grab one of those since they were COMPLETELY out of caffiene free options.....AGAIN, NOPE.They weren't allowed to do that. I asked if there was a manager available I could talk to about this, and wow, NO, THERE WAS NO MANAGER ON DUTY.So not only does the new owner not actually care enough about customers to properly stock up for a big weekend, apparently the employees also are just not motivated enough to get the orders done quickly, or even provide basic customer service. And, WHO RUNS A RESTAURANT WITHOUT HAVING A MANAGER ON SHIFT?!?! Seriously?!As for the food- it was underwhelming to say in the least. The kids meals were ok I guess. The cheese curds were fantastic, and literally the best part of the experience. THE FISH. WAS. HORRIBLE. I couldn't believe how much I paid for literally the WORST fish I had ever ordered from a restaurant. I could get a fish and chips meal that's 100% better (for the same price) at the Wagonwheel restaurant in Lava..... If I'd had time. The fish was overcooked and rubbery. It was actually worse than the cheap breaded fish fillets in boxes at the grocery store. The breading was cakey and thick, with only a tiny, thin piece of fish.... And they couldn't even be bothered to throw a couple lemon slices in with the meal..... It was awful.

The morning shift on 10-22-2018 was not stocked from Sunday night closing also the floor had food all over. I'm not sure when I should eat the food from there. I will only eat,when I know who has and is working. While I was there the employees were pleasant. The food is good if you don't have hair and once I had spider legs in my fries. It takes a working together crew on all shifts to make a successful likeable,place. Soda Springs Idaho is the only store I've had some negative opinions about.
