I would give you 10 stars if I could, Dr. And all the girls are the absolute best in this clinic. You can tell they love your fur babies as much as you do. Thank you for the love, care, and compassion you had for me and Baby these past months, and for being there at her passing. The girls really care about your animals. My dog was shot and the staff called me before they opened and got me in immediately when no other vet in the magic valley would! I got there and was greeted by all of them with care for my girl. They made me feel super confident with their care of her. Ofer is great and very informative. So glad they were able to help my baby!!

Since I have moved here and established with this wonderful place my dogs are taken care of. We get folllow up calls and they really care! I drive 45 min just for the peace of mind that my dogs are in the right hands! I wouldn't recommend any other vet!

Not impressed in the slightest. I have tried taking my animals in several times and it's never a good experience. I brought in my two dogs today and due to one having extreme anxiety he was taken while I held on to the other so they could examine him first. Rather than holding him at a distance so that he could still see me, they took him into the back where he somehow got out of his harness and took off running to find me (at this point he was shaking and frothing at the mouth from anxiety). During the chase he was slammed in a door. At that point I shouted (to be heard over the chaos) that I would hold him. An older vet tech came around the corner and promptly told me that my raising my voice wasn't necessary. I told her that her presence nor opinion were necessary and she refused to leave the room even though two other vet techs were there assisting. The doctor apologized profusely. I liked the doctor, but the way that vet tech treated me and my already high anxiety dog is why I will never return.

I am truly amazed at the concern they had for our Gigi who had Parvovirus they nursed her back being over the Parvovirus and she is well on her way to a full recovery. I would recommend them to all my friends and family who have pets.

Brought my dog in to get his ears checked because he’s been scratching at them. The vet stuck a cue tip down my dogs ear & was sure he had nothing wrong w/them until I asked if he could actually check w/a pet ear scope to make sure. It didn’t seem like he wanted to because he knows it all. They’ve done this before at the vet I normally go to but they were booked out so I scheduled here. The Dr wanted to sedate my dog for him to put the ear scope into his ear but I didn’t allow it because I’ve seen other vets do it w/o having to sedate. Very unprofessional. Don’t recommend.

We have been clients of Shoshone Vet Hospital for 14+ years; our 16 year old Golden tried with all his might to keep living but between his hips, back legs, kidneys, eye sight and overall declining quality of life we decided it was time to let him rest easy. Upon our initial call we were told they would require an exam which was fine. An appointment was made. Hours later we were contacted and told they would not help us since he hadn't been seen in over a year...this is a 16 year old dog suffering. We contacted 2 other Veterinary Hospitals whom we had never been to and were shocked by Shoshone's response and offered to help us out immediately. Making this decision was hard enough and honestly should have happened earlier but we had hoped he would go on his own. The lack of empathy or willingness to help our beloved furbaby was heartbreaking and maddening, we will never walk through their doors again. Quality of care is out there, just not at Shoahone Veterinary Hospital.

Wish I could give zero stars. I am from shoshone and go to any other vet because of their service. Also, my parents were desperate to put down there suffering golden that was almost 16 and had gone to that vet since he was a pup. They refused because he hadn't been there in a year or so.... this vet just wants money and doesn't care if your pet is suffering. -note we took our sweet old boy to a vet he had never been to, and they peacefully, respectfully, and caring-ly put our guy out of pain. NO questions asked... they were also VERY disgusted and saddened that we were turned away from his lifelong vet. Do yourself a favor and travel to any other vet if you want kind, caring and compassionate people to take care of your fur babies.

This vet in unprofessional and dishonest. I recently moved to Idaho and needed a local vet to continue my dogs long-term Fluoxetine prescription. When I called to make the appointment and at the appointment I told them this and there was no issue. When I called for a refill 3 months later I was given multiple excuses from different staff members as to why they refused to refill the prescription and was told to find a new vet or return to my old vet. Vet clinics are currently booked out 2+ weeks or not accepting new clients. Dogs cannot be abruptly discontinued from this medication bc it could cause potential health issues including death. When I explained this to the technician, they told me there is nothing they could do. The callousness of these people that chose to work in the animal field is very disheartening and disappointing.

My dog was having problems on a Sunday and they had someone come in to see us from an emergency call I made. She ended up passing, but they were so gracious and caring with our baby. They let us bring her in and cry and took very good care of her. 10 out of 10. Very caring and compassionate.

I have brought my cats in to see Dr. Ofer over the last several months. He is very thorough and caring during the visits. My kitten had broke her upper arm and he performed the surgery to fix it. She has had no issues and has healed wonderfully! He always calls a couple days after to follow up. Great, caring staff also.

Very rude staff. I was referred here and was hopeful upon arrival but was spoken to in a demeaning manner and I felt frustrated upon departure. I DO NOT recommend this establishment. All I can say is WOW....ladies develop some compassion for those who come in seeking it.

Worst customer service ever! Quoted certain prices for a surgery. When I took my animals in for their appt. prices "changed" as the receptionist stated and they would not honor my original quote. Dr. called me back and was hostile and rude. Honestly it was a blessing! After watching the Dr speak to another customer and his mannerisms I would not have trusted him to operate on my babies.

Ofer is a fantastic Vet! We've been taking our little lapdogs and our working cow dogs to the Shoshone Vet Clinic for years. His diagnoses is always spot on. His services are no-nonsense. His fees are reasonable. He's called me back in the middle of the night when there's been an emergency. He's brought more than one of my dogs back from death, for which I'll always be thankful. I'll never take my animals to another vet or clinic.

This place is a joke.. they took our dog misdiagnosed him with having parvo. They then proceeded to try and treat my wife and I like we were carrying parvo when not even our dog had it.. He did not have the main parvo symptom diahrrea! We got a second opinion from my old vet back home via phone and it was confirmed that there are false positives from recent parvo vacinations since the parvo vaccines are a live virus. The tech wouldnt let us have our dog back the first time we asked. After they did allow it they told us nothing on caring for him didnt even speak with the vet himself the entire time. They might have a decent vet but the techs here are garbage!

Dr. Ofer Inbar is a man who treats both animals and their humans with much respect. He operated on my dogs tumor this week when another vet said it was unoperable. So glad I got a second opinion and that other doctor is no longer in practice! My dog is fantastic and deserved to be treated as such. This doctor even cured my daughter's dog of Parvo a few years ago and that's why I went to him. Very happy we did!

Shoshone veterinary Hospital is amazing! I Took my dog in as emergency for surgery after he was accidentally cut with a tractor and all his intestines came out . They took care of him immediately, they were friendly and showed the care and love for the animals. Even though I don't have money at this moment for the payment they're willing to help with a payment plan. From the deep of my heart Thank you so much for your help. God bless them.

Don't seem to know what they are doing. My pets never get better and when I take them somewhere else the diagnosis is so different that I can't imagine how the Shoshone vet arrived at it.However, their vaccinations are very inexpensive and they do a great deal to support the local animal rescue.Have no idea how they do with large animals, i.e. cows or horses, but I suspect that is where they excel.

I've had terrible experiences with the Gooding vet clinic. I should have used Shoshone Veterinarian Hospital. They always do a good job. What the gooding vet couldn't do with 450.00 dollars (pull some sheet grass out of my cat's mouth, real difficult!) Shoshone vet did for 65.00 dollars. Thank you guys so much for the wonderful care you give to our animals.

Very poor sevice, I called when my sons 4 month old puppy was sick. Spoke to a rude receptionist along with a staff member who told me they couldnt help me without a 150 dollar deposit. I told them my dog was puking and had diahriea for about 2 1/2 days and that i got paid on friday witch was 2 days away. I reiterated my animal was sick and that i was very concerned for her, Immediately they responded with (you would have to pay an emergency call fee) When i called 30 min before they closed i told them that was fine that i needed to get her seen. As soon as i said it was fine they stoped me and said (and i quote )(we cant because our manager isnt here call back tomarrow when she is and we will know more ) I think that the people who work here are with the exeption of a couple im sure,are lazy do not want to work and had no care for my sons puppy weather she died or not they had no care whats so ever. I wouldnt recomend this vetrinarians clinic to anyone due to the lac of care for our animals professionalism and work ethic. I was under the impression they were there to help and make sure our animals are happy and healthy my sons puppy is still sick as i am writing this review about 20 min after the call took place. Being that this place is a disgrace.i wouldnt ever recomend this establishment to anyone ever
