Jake at Frontier Wildlife Studios does amazing work. Before working with Jake, I had taxidermy done by other Idaho taxidermists, but my mounts from those taxidermists either lacked the life-like quality I was looking for or were obviously rushed and mistakes in workmanship were not fixed correctly. I shot a buck in 2020 that I wanted to get mounted. My choices were either go back and risk the same disappointment with rushed work from my previous taxidermist or find someone new. I shopped around a lot, searching through pictures on taxidermists' Facebooks and online profiles and visiting shops to view their work. I ultimately thought Jake's mounts looked the best, so I went with him. When I got my buck back, I was thrilled; it looks alive and Jake's attention to detail is impeccable. If he makes mistakes during his process, he obviously fixes them before letting them out the door because I can't see any, which is my expectation. Jake has now done three mounts for me to date (mule deer, caribou, and pronghorn) and is working on a bull elk currently. As a hunter, it is comforting to find a taxidermist you want to take all of your game to. For anyone searching for a new taxidermist, I'd recommend Frontier Wildlife Studio.

This guy is amazing to all hunters..very nice professional work..My buddies wife shot a moose and he was the only one who would take the cape off for her and did an outstanding job. Take your trophies here.
