Look... I am the LAST guy that prefers to frequent hipster joints, but these guys' make some darned good food. Sandpoint has it's share of elitist dining, but if you choose to look for a more affordable option, you cannot do better than this. Their Deli crew take their offerings seriously, thank you. Comfy dining area; and yes, silly prices on all their 'organic' grocery products, haha; but we weren't there to buy locally sourced kohlrabi. We were there to eat... ;)

Friendly, relaxed, organic grocery and specialty mart. Winter Ridge has the variety that I would expected only in a big city store. Great for healthy munchies. I did not have to wait to check out as every check out was well staffed. Highly recommended!

This is a great market to get healthier options, and gluten-free, vegan, lactose-free etc. The meat section is fantastic, and the beer cooler has a good selection to pick from. Also has fresh baked breads and some pre-made take away options as well. Great place and friendly staff.

I must say that for a small town such as Sandpoint, Idaho, this cool organic business deserves a good review. We have a summer home an hour away and were in town for errands. Friends had mentioned Winter Ridge, but I usually go to Libby, MT for most serious grocery shopping. This store packed a punch and even had a formidable salad and soup bar. Loved the beverages and food choices on the shelves. Everything you need, given the size. Can’t wait to shop there again.

They have done an excellent job of keeping the health conscience community supplied. Great hot food. The veggies are top notch. Bakery is yummy and excellent selection of meat and cold good. Always good service. This business helps a lot of nonprofits.

Good selection. Raw milk and cheeses which is excellent. Groceries are pricey of course but that'll happen with high quality food.The hot food bar is delicious. Baristas make excellent espresso and juices!

What a great health food store. They had amazing homemade soups and so many great options for healthier choices. The staff was very helpful in helping me find everything I needed.

Great store for that ingredient you need but can’t find it in any other local grocery store. Some items are pricy where other aren’t. The employees are always super helpful (especially in the health/beauty area).

Been shopping here for the past few years. Prices are expensive, but a lot of options are better or whole food ingredients. The deli and bakery is a hit or miss. It's always a risky to spend $4 on a pastry and it not to be good. I do like their vitamin selection.

Used to love the cold killer juice drinks…they were so tasty and zesty with ginger. Now their price is higher and it’s basically just EXPENSIVE carrot juice no flavor just plain old carrot juice. Won’t be purchasing the cold killer drinks anymore they just aren’t worth it

I absolutely love this store! The food is everything I've ever dreamed of in a grocery store and restaurant. I love how friendly and kind all the employees are and the way they are free to be themselves and express their individuality. They have the best customer service out of any store I have ever shopped and the tastiest baked goods too. The pesto rolls are a well known family treat that we always look forward to while shopping at WinterRidge. I am looking forward to my next shopping trip.

I don’t normally write reviews and I have never written anyone a bad review, but I’ve finally had to courage to do it. Winter Ridge has a great food selection, but whoever chooses their employees chooses visually demonic people. They allow their employees to wear satanic symbols, have ridiculous piercings and makeup, wear repulsive graphic tees, and very revealing clothing. My daughter gets scared of some of their employees every time we go in because they look like actual demonic people. I am hoping this review makes the people who run this store realize that they need to clean up their employees. I wish I didn’t have to write this review since I do love their selection of foods. If their employees start looking respectable then I will remove this review.

Went in for a quick grab, decided on the Spicy Chicken , veggie, rice ( not actual name) but so delish! Added a big pretzel and what a sustaining, healthy organic lunch! Quick checkout. Very nice staff. Clean and well stocked store .

Only bought $600 worth of food here this holiday weekend with 6 of my childhood friends from Montana. Rang the bell at the meat counter 3 times. After 5-7 minutes one friend went to find someone, while I saw someone through the plastics dividers. I stepped one step past the meet cooler to ask for some assistance and was chastised by a younger female with black hair, and told to “step back”. Only then did she actually call for assistance at the meat counter. I bought quite a lot of trout and fajita mix as well as a few tri-tips for the weekend. I almost walked out but chilled myself instead.The cashier was kind and on her name tag refers to herself as a human being. This really helped to end the shopping trip on a positive note.I would just like to say that tourist or not, we are ALL human beings and deserve to be treated kindly, even if we are just bringing more than 5K plus to your local economy for the weekend.

Stumbled upon this place on our last trip to Sandpoint. For a small town store I was pleasantly suprised at the large variety of natural/health products Winter Ridge has to offer. They also offer warm food, and bakery items. Will definitely make this a stop when we are in town!!!!

This is my go to in town- shockingly good prices that are actually cheaper than the other bigger grocery stores in town. Most everything in the produce section is from farms around this area, which is amazing to know where your food is coming from:) I love being able to support a small business that lifts up other small businesses!

I've shopped at this store for years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is knowledgeable if you're looking for natural remedies. Lots of fresh, organic foods to choose from, amazing bakery items, and even cute home decor items.

This lil natural food store keeps getting better and better. I always come here for local soaps and leafy greens. The deli and food bar have vegan options: yesterday was broccoli mac and two different kinds of roasted veg. Nice bakery too. I am just a visiting for a short time, and one of the cashiers were already greeting me like an old customer.

This is the best grocery store in the world. Healthy food & great options, wonderful people, and good values. They are constantly helping the community, supporting environmental ideals, and are incredible to their employees. You feel like a member of the family when shopping there. It doesn’t get better than that.
