Would recommend staying here for a night to break your journey as we did. The rooms are basic but clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast didn’t look too great on first glance but we were all able to find something - there are biscuits and gravy - you have to toast the biscuits to warm them but those and toasted English muffins started the day fine. The hotel is in a nice position right next to the Salmon River and a park. Walking distance to several good restaurants. Very friendly staff in reception. The windows really need a clean! We would have had a lovely view of the mountains but could hardly see out of the window - appreciate they are next to a dusty main road. No problems with noise apart from when people started to get up and talk in the corridors or bang doors.

A good place to stop to break your journey. Nice location right next to the river and park and walking distance to several good restaurants. Lovely view to the mountains but the windows were so dirty it was hard to see them! Adequate breakfast - it will stop you being hungry but very small choice. Room was comfortable and clean and quiet through the night. You can hear doors slamming when people start getting up.Rooms: Two queen beds, comfortableWalkability: Walking distance to the river, park and restaurants.Food & drinks: Breakfast is very basic but enough to see you in your journey.

The hotel is in a great location right near downtown Salmon. The room was very clean and up to date. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure! We were on the first floor and had a sliding glass door to the parking lot which made loading our vehicle very convenient. Breakfast was good, there were several hot options, like biscuits and gravy and eggs and potatoes. The breakfast area is small but it was not crowded. They have an ice and water machine next to the breakfast area which was very convenient.

Gene helped check us in late tonight and was just absolutely delightful. We had been driving all day and just tired and hungry, and Gene helped us get set up quickly. After getting settled, we went down to the vending machine to try and find something to eat, but the machine ate our money and Gene was quick to help us. He even offered us some cereal to help us through the night since unfortunately no where was open. He also helped our dog feel at ease since she gets nervous in new places. She absolutely loved him. Definitely will stay here again thanks to Gene and the clean room.

Salmon does not have too many hotel options. For the price, this hotel gets the job done. A place to get some rest. Overall, it was clean and tidy. I was disappointed with the fact that the room (210) I stayed in did not have desk or work station. I stay here about once a month for work, and It was a bummer having to use the TV stand as a desk. In my past couple experiences this winter, the evening check-in staff has been pleasant and friendly. My last visit was on 2/27/28/23. The check-out lady did not seem too thrilled to be at work. I had to walk outside to interupt her vape break she was taking right outside the front door to get her attention so she could print me a receipt. I felt that was rather unprofessional. I will continue to stay here on my trips to Salmon and I hope this constructive criticism can be used to up the level of customer service.

Had a very surprisingly good sleep, the mattresses are plushy like a cloud. Nice newer floors, very clean overall. Bathrooms could use updating. Went to Timmies across the street for breakfast. Good bar hand soap. The guy that welcomed us and manages the building does a good job!

Showed up late to get a room , weather was below zero outside and was given a room where I could see my breath and heater had been off all day. Had to run hot shower in room for an hour as heater took almost two hours to make the room somewhat comfortable to sleep in. Asked for a discount and was told no after paying for a 200 dollar room to freeze half the night because there too cheap to turn heater on low so customers can walk into a room that’s not 40 degrees. Will never stay here again and will steer people away from this place.

Very typical Super 8. A little on the pricey side, for what it is. The room we had was a single king bed. Everything worked in the room. The room layout was a bit odd, so we had to move a table to get next to a convenience outlet.The breakfast area is very small, with limited seating. But the food was good.The parking lot is in good condition.

We enjoyed our stay here! It was nice to have a sliding door right on floor level, we were able to load up our car very easily at the end of our 1 night stay. Everything seemed nice and clean, although there was some cracking in the wall above the shower tiling. The breakfast was delicious! Their biscuits were nice and soft, and the gravy went super well with them! I went back for seconds 😩

Our stay was a pleasant one & would recommend to anyone. Room was clean, bed comfy & friendly staff. Hot breakfast was good, I would of like scrambled eggs over hard boiled, but not issue there. Over all our experience was good. My only recommendation is they set a one time pet fee opposed to per night, most travelers with pets are responsible pet owners & it gets a little pricey per night on top of the hotel cost.

My family stayed one night on our way to somewhere. Very clean. The staff was friendly and competant. I slept like a rock. My husband said the bed was too hard so it's a matter of personal preference. The complimentary breakfast was great. It included hash browns from real potatoes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit and yogurt. We would stay again.

Desk girl was very nice. The hotel was very clean. Only problem, my blow dryer wouldn't work and the iron has some black stuff on it. (Glad I had backups). I would definitely stay there again. Just get into town before 10 PM if you want to eat anything. We had to go to a convenience store. Luckily there was a microwave and fridge in the room. Convenience store closes at 11!

It was right off the highway and easy to find. Pretty small hotel and parking lot, but the rooms were very comfortable. The gal at the check-in desk was great and helpful as well. The bed was nice and the room was clean! I really would have appreciated a decent coffee pot. The little pod per cup coffee machine was... pretty lame! But, the coffee and sausages at the little breakfast bar was really good. All in all a pretty great hotel stay.

Clean and nice rooms,very convenient.Ground floor had sliding glass door and screen to let in fresh air. right next to the river so very relaxing. microwave,bigger mini fridge,iron and board. Breakfast was meh without much choice for milk sensitive or gluten issues. But staff was very nice with fast check in and out.

Above my expectations! It's a clean property, not run down like at other Super 8s I've stayed. One point of clarification, "pet friendly" means they have eight pet rooms out of 36. I am allergic to many pets. In my view, they have found a balance that serves both and economically works for them. Breakfast was more than sweet rolls, juice, and coffee. Beds and bathrooms were clean and in good repair.

They've always taken care of me and my coworkers, and have always had a gov't rate room available. Rooms on par with the brand, the suites are nicer but not sure they're worth springing more for. Continental breakfast is standard. Thought the sliding glass door entrance for first floor units would be detrimental but turned out to be a big help for someone as forgetful and disorganized as I am, so I'm not running up and down stairs to get back to my vehicle. Perfect location for a stumble back from the bars, the eastern facing rooms have a canal to listen to (it's a babbling brook as far as I'm concerned), and save for the occasional Harley gang that rolls through, really quiet. I'll continue to stay here.

Stayed one night. Person at desk was very nice. Hallway and room smelled like an ash tray. Looked at our credit card statement when we got home and they arbitrarily decided to charge us $250 for smoking in their room which would have been a neat trick seeing how neither of us smoke. No phone call to ask us... Nothing. Called them to make it right and got a very rude reception. Eventually after tolerating an intolerable person they said they would remove the charge but it would take 7 to 10 business days. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
