These guys are as good as it gets. We had a challenging setup to get a wood burning stove in a corner of the house where there was no attic access. One of the guys squeezed into the 12x12 opening they made to get it connected and installed. They provided two quotes, both of which were conservative and they came in UNDER budget, on time, and with lots of care. We got a Kuma stove and it’s been a really great addition to the house. If you’re looking to support local, buy from these guys and get a Kuma (made in Rathdrum).

I'm not a person that normally gives reviews but feel that I need to provide one in this instance. I have an older propane stove which I have been having trouble getting anyone to work on, much less find parts for. After speaking with Chris at All About Chimneys/Sagle Stove, he dug in and went above and beyond what I would have expected in trying to not only find parts, but put in extra time trying to locate them at a cheaper price. The install ran into a couple of issues due to the stove's age but he stayed in contact with me on what was going on and got the job done in a reasonable timeframe. I can't give them a higher grade - I'm a very pleased customer.

Update 9/8/21I have a heavy heart and struggled when deciding to post this update. That's what reviews are for though, right? I'm a huge advocate of giving kudos where they are deserved but on the flip side, I cannot turn a blind eye when deceit and/or unfavorable actions may take advantage of other's lack of knowledge or awareness.I have recently heard a couple of stories from a few sources that confirmed my recent experience with this company that solidified my decision to seek out a second opinion. Without going into unnecessary detail and slandering this company, I'll just say simply, they will not be getting my business any more. Even if the things I have heard are not true or embellished...the response time, communication, and seeming lack of interoffice discrepancy I have experienced is enough a reason. EVERYONE is busy in the trade fields, I get that, but this goes beyond that fact. Again, no need for details.(I'll post an update about the other company I'm hiring once services have been rendered.)**********************************Original review:A good indication of a company is how busy they are. When I called for an appointment they were over a month out. I was good with that. They arrived pretty much on time, like within 10 minutes, wearing masks, and were super nice to all our pets.They covered the stove and was careful of dust, a vacuum was utilized during the entire cleaning process. We have a very small Jøtul woodstove. If it were my boyfriend trying to remove the baffle, there would have been things thrown and a whole lot of cussing. I could tell this situation called for exactly that but they kept their composure despite the difficulties and the stress of being watched. We have a very small cabin with no place else to go but the bathroom or open bedroom unfortunately.We are happy with their service, the education and information they gave us, and the price! A very nice local family owned and run business. Will definitely have them back.

All About Chimneys is awesome! Kris came out and inspected, cleaned and repaired our fireplace and wood stove. He identified issues and gave us solutions. The cleaning was done with care using the latest technology. He installed a double walled stove pipe as well as a draw collar and now our old wood stove is burning cleaner and more efficiently. No more issues with smoke, smell or starting a fire. My impression is that Kris is extremely knowledgeable, reliable, honest and friendly. He is All About Chimneys!

These guys did a great job and came in under the quoted price. I'm very happy with my stove. Wood Classic by Kuma, worth it. The ash pan feature makes it roar like a jet engine. It's a must have if you get a new stove. A special thanks to Chris for taking extra trips to the job site ensuring the hearth construction was good to go. They've always been helpful and kind to me even though I do all my stove work myself.Whenever I asked for advice they were more than willing to ablige.They do have slightly higher prices than some commercial outlets but that is too be expected from a mom and pop shop but they know thier stuff and try to be helpful despite thier busy schedules.

Bad experience. Called for a quote for 2 - 45 deg connectors. Was quoted $73 a pc. Got there and the guy said he quoted for a straight piece of pipe. I never gave him a length for any pipe. He tried to get me for $50 @ $101 each. I drove 23 miles for that. I didnt buy them. Thats a 120% mark up. This place will never get a dime from me. Dishonest people. Btw... i walked in and said i was the one that called about the 45 deg parts. He said follow me ... he remembered what i asked for and the quantity. He grabbed both 45 deg parts and handed them to me. I see he wrote a comment. No i was not rude I called back 5 hrs later and told him i just drove 24 miles just for him to gouge me for another $50. $202 for 2 ... 45 degree connectors? Really?He lied to me is what happen. I made sure he knew what i wanted before i drove 46 miles round trip. Did nothing but argue with me on the phone. Bad business.

Previously I would drive farther for anything I needed for my wood stove, but this time I decided to patronize the stove shop nearest me, All About Chimneys in Sagle.I called and asked if they carried catalytic combustors for my Blaze King stove. They said yes, but they would have to order it. I said okay. I was not told this would be an aftermarket product, and not from Blaze King. (I wouldn't have bought it if I knew. Who wants aftermarket?)I picked up at the store what I thought would be a BK product. I found out later they are not a BK dealer, and their products for BK stoves are limited to third party aftermarket suppliers. I was also not told I would need to purchase a special gasket that I would have to attach myself, and if not mounted correctly it could damage the unit. (The perils of aftermarket, I guess.) The BK combustor includes the gasket properly attached as part of the unit. No fuss.So I installed the combustor without the gasket. Of course it did not work correctly, and I later learned a missing gasket could've damaged my stove. Frustrated, I took the longer drive and bought a real BK combustor. Installed perfectly and works like a charm. I tried to return the All About Chimneys product. Although they admitted that I was not given the necessary materials or information to properly install and use the combustor, they refused to refund my purchase. Not a penny.Maybe it was my fault to assume this Sagle store was providing me with a Blaze King product, and not a third-party product made to fit a Blaze King. But still, a conscientious outfit would have informed me of this in advance of the purchase. And was it my fault for not having the extra installation knowledge necessary to make their third-party product operate properly? Of course not.I cannot recommend this store because they're not helpful with what they sell, clearly are unconcerned about their customers' success, and certainly not interested in any customer-facing remedies.

All I want is a fireplace insert ...June, left a message. Was called back a week later and told they were closed due to Covid. Okay, I understand.August, left a message. Was called back and told they were too busy to schedule a measurement and I would receive a call when they could put me on the schedule. Hmmm.No call by late September, so I called back, left a message. They called back two days later and scheduled for a measurement for early November.Kept the appointment in early November. The guy who came out was polite and seemingly knew his stuff. He said he would get a bid to me the following Monday (second week of November) and would put me on the install schedule, which would happen before Christmas. Great! I'm getting a fireplace insert!!No bid arrived. Week 3 of November, waited. Week 4, nothing.Tuesday, December 1st, I called, left a message. No call back. I called Friday, someone answered! Yay! He said he could find no paperwork, no "bid" on my house. He would talk to the guy "tonight and get back to you in the morning." Okay.No call.I called on Monday, left a message. No return call. Called on Wednesday, reached the front office staff ... "Oh, you're on my list to call back today." Then I was told that she would be talking to the guy who did the measurement, and he would call that afternoon. That was a Wednesday. No call that day. No call yet. Hmmm.It's a week later, and I'm still waiting ... It looks like my fireplace insert won't get done before Christmas. Maybe it won't get done at all??

Only open during weekdays. They state they will make an appointment for a Saturday visit, but hem-hawed around and wouldn't commit to it when called. They state they will call you back. They didn't. I prefer to support local businesses but not when they don't care. Spent my $6000 elsewhere.
