Great clinic! They are very knowledgeable and caring. Took the best care of my dog who had a serious problem. I Had to leave him for 2 wks. after his surgery and they took excellent care of him while I was gone and provided daily updates on his progress, really comforting knowing they were taking such good care of my dog. I will always take my pets there, they are awesome!

We took a horse to this vet that was having a hard time staying and laying down all day. I was given a initial visit price. We showed up to drop off the horse and they were closed. I had called about 10:30 am. We waited outside till they were done with a staff meeting which they had said nothing about. Horse was checked in about 1. By 4:30 we called to see what had been figured out. We were told that they were very busy and would call us back before they closed. (They don't have an indoor space to keep horses.) After 5pm and no call, we called. No one answered. We drove to the clinic and found it closed. Walked out back to find our horse laying on cold concrete. We had no idea what was wrong if anything. We tried to call the vet after hours. Got hung up on twice. After that we called the police. A few minutes later, the Doc's wife called me back.. She made excuses about the phones not working and them trying to call us but they couldn't.. It's the 20th century people... Fix your phone problems.The doc then told the police his excuses of phones not working and the police left. We then had a phone call from the Doc to say he didn't figure anything out and thought it was cancer.. We needed to put the horse down. We declined and it took us 40 mins to get the horse up so we could take him home. Then the bill comes. I called and talked to the Doc's wife and told her that I was very disappointed their quality of work and communication. I asked that they split the bill. I paid for supplies they write off time.. She told ok I will talk to the doc and call you back after.. I paid half that day.Now 2 months later, we take a dog in for nail clipping. They would not release the dog until the rest of the horse bill was paid. I told them that the billing gal has never called... AGAIN I was told that they tried to call my cell many times and couldn't get ahold of me. Phone excuses again. If one phone doesn't work, try another or call my other number on the account... These people have very poor skills when it comes to taking care of animals and communicating with the owner. Don't take your animals here.

I can’t say better things! I’m from Utah and was camping when a suture started working itself out of my dog from a previous surgery. I called multiple emergency vets and none were willing to help because it was too close to closing. I called Rupert animal clinic and the lady that answered the phone answered all my questions and was calm and told me they would wait for me. I got there and they were so kind and understanding even though I was so anxious about my dog. They brought him back so fast and he was still happy and for a dog that has anxiety I was so thrilled. The price was so affordable and fair. I can’t say enough good things about my experience here.

These people are amazing and create an atmosphere that is welcoming. When my last dog got sick they were gracious to take her in immediately and we were not a regular customer. They communicated well in letting us know her condition and that they could do no more. I now have a new pup and they give her attention when she goes in for her shots. They are friends forever.

Great service, always explain the process and how long your animal will be down. Had to take my dog in for an emergency and they worked hard to take care of her. They were the only clinic in the area who could take use in during the emergency.

Took my fur baby in to see what's wrong with her. Never did I have to worry whether she was going to taken care of or not. Dr Hines has my full trust that he will take care of my animals. I will forever take my animals here. Dr Hines is an amazing compassionate vet. He cares about figuring out what is wrong with animals and providing the best care.

I was in town visiting family for the holiday and my dog was in some kind of attack that resulted in an open hole on her leg. From the emergency line the doctor called me back, looked at photos of the wound and advised on care. He did this on his own time during a holiday. You are a lucky community to have such a willing and caring individual for your animals. I am very grateful!

Passionate about helping animals. I took my Denali in there for something being wrong with her foot. They fit us in on a tight schedule. Dr. Heins took great care of my baby and fixed her foot good as new.He understands that our dogs are our family members and he treats them as such. He and the staff at the Rupert Animal Clinic are amazing!They take care of all of our animals with the utmost care. They communicate and keep families updated with what is going on with their babies. The staff is amazing and extremely knowledgeable.

We started taking our animals there after a recommendation from my Dad. The quality of care our animals get is second to none. Dr. Hines is an awesome vet and we always know when we take our pets there they are in great hands. We will not take out animals anywhere else. If you want first class care for you animals, this is the place to go.

3 weeks ago I took my dog in for an x-ray as he was limping. The doctor found he has severe hip dysplasia and it's very painful.However, he refused then, and continues to refuse to give him any pain medication. The doctor insist that we buy their expensive food that has ZERO medical benefit over our dogs current high quality diet. A diet change doesn't fix two hips completely out of their sockets.He needs pain management right away and we've been calling multiple times and the secretary just keeps telling us she'll talk to the doctor, then we never hear back.We ain't buying your dog food. We need medication. There's something wrong with these people. Who let's an animal be in pain? They suggested we euthanize our dog, but he will be ok with pain management, they just want to sell us dog food instead.

They take great care of our fur babies, but beware because you will get a price quote and it will be twice as much when you pay. Do you know it's a separate exam charge on the same visit each different thing they examine? I took my dog to get her spay , turned out to be 250 Dollars, 60 of it was and exam charge to look at her dew claws and the rest was the spay

I love this place. They always are very helpful with all my questions about my cats and dog. They give you options for your pets treatment and explain why it is or isn't recommended. I love how they treat my pets. They also send very cute postcards for reminders.
